Good to see you Richard in rural Dorset!!!!! I cannot wait to see the medieval village exploration! I enjoyed your Clarkeson's Farm, he was incredible and so sensitive to farming and you brought it to me. I hope you enjoy your Dorset jaunt and have fun living in the van. I know a narrow boat gets incredibly hot as well!! Far more gesticulating and arm waving than usual - you are ,missing the gimble!!! But a great video Richard, enjoy your trip and safe drive back
Thanks for your Sunday update! After messaging about how much I enjoyed episode 1 of Clarksons Farm, I then binge-watched the remaining episodes. I totally agree with what you said about the series. It hopefully helps get the farming story out to the masses. I thought the local people in the series really made it worthwhile.
Sunday morning started well with your chat. Have watched a bit of Clarkson Farm and going to watch more. Very good. Have a lovely time in Dorset.. Never been. Looking forward to what you show us. Thank you. Enjoy rest of your holiday.
Looking forward to seeing the results of your time in Dorset, a beautiful county. I always go into Thomas Hardy muse when I see pictures of Dorsetshire. Love it!
Looking forward to watching your Dorset vids Richard (& getting back in to the swing of things w/ the shows!). Excited to see the one on the Medieval Village!
I've just come back from filming in Dorset for my channel. Lovely country and so much history! Why don't you contact the county archives for old school photos?
There are many places to visit in Dorset. It's a beautiful county. If you can, try Abbotsbury which has an amazing tithe barn and there is also a swannery (I think you may have to pay, not sure). Thanks for the update and looking forward to seeing all your future adventures.
I Like your slightly (occasionally) muddled phrases as in "Don't count your breath" which is a cross between, Don't hold your breath, or count your chickens before they are hatched. Regarding a picture of the children in the Victorian school, the local library archives may have a record. Otherwise, your recreated one would add to the character and interest in the property.
Lovely part of Dorset, if I'm right you're somewhere need Sillingstone? I've done a hill race from there a few times but not recently. Can't remember the first hill (has a beacon on it) then Hod Hill and Hambledon Hill but there may be another Hambledon Hill and I'm wrong! Looking forward to the VLogs.
I won't hold my breath or count the chickens before they 🐣 hatch but it would be nice if he would be comfortable enough to have a chat on camera before you hit the road 🛣️. thank you for the reminder as I haven't seen the farm show yet. I have been busier than a one armed paper hanger...though not as busy as one who also has the runs. ...do you get my drift? We do make English an interesting puzzle for people trying to learn it as adults🤷🏼♀️🤗😘💖👍🖖🙋🏼♀️
The local Historical Society will doubtless have some original photos of the school and the children - or ask a local newspaper. Don't try and "fake it" (but ok only if you have to) 🙂

Great Sunday Chat, sounds like your enjoying yourself in Dorset, looking faward to all the Dorset videos and one from Portsmouth with Julia and Jo.
Jeremy Clarksons farm was brilliant not only for the comedy but for farmers and his ideas on conservation
Looking forward to the production ! Very Kind of Ernie to invite you down .I'll be visiting Dorset in September but nearer the coast.
Looking forward to seeing your new episodes!
That is a lovely fire place. Nice change of scenery there.
It really is!
What a snazzy new profile pic ! 😁
Ernie is a brick ,so nice of him to invite you to visit.

Not heard of Sillingstone, but that doesn't mean it was round the corner.

Hello! Random question, what car do you have? because I saw a car that had bald explorer stickers and I wondered if it was yours it was a green mini
He has a Ford van mate.
Stickers can be purchased from www.redbubble.com/people/vobes/works/42778064-be-red?asc=u so it could have been any of the Vobes fans.. Nice spotting!
Really Richard. It’s Dorset, not Dorsetshire!

Apparently they didn't have the photos.
