I was looking for this Epson Stylus on FB Marketplace lol would like to get one where I can add a DTF Film Roll on the printer. Great Content! Yall make converting look easy
You’re welcome! I’m doing my best to try to explain it for everyone to understand. The 1400 prints great but it’s on the slow side. The R1900’s are faster and Epson made a roll adapter for those at one time. They might of made one for the 1400 also but I haven’t checked into that.
Hello Thank you for the valuable information. If you don't mind, I have a question. What is the next step? After the cleaning, when you put new ink cartridges with dtf ink, the print head will be full of cleaning fluid... how do you know when all that fluid is out of the print head and just contains dtf ink only? Thanks for sharing
The P800 is my preferred printer! I have 2 of them I use for DTF! Get chipless firmware from Chipless Solutions for it. If you need any help or have questions let me know.
@@SouthbayCreations thanks a lot man for replying! I think we exchanged some info on the dtf FB group lol, about that xp 15000 nitemare 😂, I’m just waiting on my carts, a power cord that didn’t come with the printer, and a couple of cleaning solution for the cap station and clog buster, I’ll definitely hit u up when I got all my stuff, TIA, and keep up with the amazing stuff 🤟🏼🤟🏼🏴☠️
I have a question about the software. I’m new to trying to convert my epson 1400 and I’m now trying to do a flush. When I try following your steps on the software part mines doesn’t show the maintenance tab on the printing preferences. I’m using windows 11. Please help 😢
Do you do this on the Epson stylus pro 3880 also? I just bought one already converted. I've never done this but haven't gotten to print a whole lot. Still trying to figure out my settings for Acrorip 10. 🤦♀️🤯😔. Also, when filling/refilling inks should we be printing them every time?
Hi, just saw your video great info !! I'm in the process of converting my p800. doing this cleaning process now. followed this vid . chip less is done too. please need help on ink layout and software settings to get to print white base and so on. thx in advance.
It’s to strong and will eventually break down the adhesive that holds the head together. It’s happened to me on my P800 and many others as well. Use the right product for the job. Saving a few bucks might cost you your printhead.

@@fredlyraphael9980 It can delaminate the printhead. It’s to strong of a cleaner. It eats away at the adhesive on the printhead

Thank you for the great tutorial as I am about to also convert my 1400 to DTF. Do I have to purchase a DTF program to do DTF printing?
Yes you do. You need a RIP software like AcroRip or Cadlink. Jump in my Facebook group, there’s a ton of info there
Great content! I got a refurbished p800 hopefully will work fine for dtf 🤟🏼🤟🏼

I'd also like to know can you do that waste tank thing on 3880? If so how? THANK YOU!
After you clean the printer with the cleaning solution can you use the same cartridges for the dtf ink
You really should have two sets of cartridges. One for ink and one for cleaning solution
Do need carts with chips for cleaning
@@56thnbishop If the printer does not have chipless firmware then yes they do need them.
Where can I get the refillable tanks for cleaning
Check with VVINKS.com if you don’t see them listed send them a message. They may not have them listed on the site
