This video shows you how to install a new TRQ door handle on your 2008-2013 Nissan Rogue. Door handles, especially the driver side, withstand daily abuse. It’s no wonder one might wear out or even break off eventually. TRQ door handles are precision engineered to fit your vehicle perfectly.
This repair was done on a 2009 Nissan Rogue S 2.5L Sport Utility 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

What a great video! I'm retired and on a fixed income- you helped me save a couple of hundred bucks. Your step by step (and articulate) presentation was easy to follow.
This tutorial was great, just make sure to let everyone know to put the handle in, hold the assembly inside the door if you need to and then slide the handle towards the front of the car to lock it into place in the assembly.

Worked well for my driver door handle replacement. Some difficulties we had involved re-aligning the bolt holes for the door panel with the window arm. I got a "compatible" handle and it isn't gliding in and out as readily but it functions.

Thanks, just last night, my door latch would not open the door. Watching this video I think the rod from the handle disconnected from the yellow piece. Is the suction cups just a precaution?
I have a 2010 Rogue AWD 360 and the driver's door would not open in or outside. The following steps may help you! (it is really not that hard.
1. Remove the 10mm bolt hidden behind the pull handle. Remove 2 - 10mm bolts from the handle used to pull the door shut ( hidden behind a pop-off face panel).
2. Roll the window all the way down.
3. From the outside of the vehicle, carefully pry up the inside panel past the metal housing which it hangs on. Start at the rear of the door and try to get at least 5 inches past the metal frame. PUSH the panel into the car and over the frame as you advance.
4. Using a GOOD flashlight, follow the window glass on the IN side look down 8 to 10 inches. If your's is like mine, you will see a white plastic piece with a hole in it hanging beside the glass. Snag it with a hanger and pull up and pull the door open.
That little white plastic clip pulls the lever that allows the latch to free itself when you pull. You may have to stick the hanger in the hole (it fits) to jiggle it up and down. The lever has to be freed up sometimes before it frees the latching mechanism.
Once the door is open, you should complete the removal of the door panel by pulling the panel from the plastic clips holding it in place.
Visually Verify that the latch mechanism is moving up and down and lubricate the mechanism.. Examine the inside door handle and make sure the cable that opens the door is seated into it's proper hole in the handle to allow the cable to be pulled. Usually the "barrel" at the end of the cable isn't in its spot. Lubricate the metal part of the cable so it won't stick when it needs to go back. Pull the handle and make sure that the same little piece in the door latch release mechanism moves that moved when the white plastic piece was pulled. Try the outside handle once the inside handle has been verified to function. Hopefully the cable didn't come off the outside handle assembly. If you need those instructions let me know.

is this what I need to do then long story short the outslide driver side door wont open from the outside, but CAN open on the inside using the other handle/latch, i heard a clip or something fall out prior will I need to go this route to reattach whatever got loose etc? thanks!

All the cables for the sensor are not mention, do you have any video or steps about it? My sensor wires are broken

Could not put the new handle. Inside plastic component shifted and the 30 torks edge bolt no longer aligns with the hole ... Not sure what happened ☹️ wish I had not attempted this

Mine snapped in half, I have to pull the side that’s next to the lock on a angle to open, I hope I can find a metal replacement not plastic
He covered everything except the "barrel" re install if the outer handle would not operate the release mechanism.

Most of the time you will not need to take apart the entire door just loosen the one screw on the side. ua-cam.com/video/yrheQ3_FES4/v-deo.html A zip tie also helps create a functional door in the meantime.
