This by far is one of the most clear and comprehensive walkthroughs I've seen. The camera angles up under the dash helped a ton to see what I can't when laying upside down on the floor!
This video saved me $350. So helpful. If there is one thing I could add it would be, when reinstalling the pedal set, remind people to be sure that the brake bar is between the brake U-bar. I failed at that and it cost me 30 minutes. Beyond that, this video was phenomenal. Thanks so much.
Great video. I really struggled getting the new one in and seated so I could rotate to lock it in, and realised a wire had dropped inside. Only wasted 15 mins and 100 cuss words before figuring it out. 😂
By far the best video of this project. Well done. My advice having completed: 1) Do all the steps, don't take shortcuts, and watch the whole video. Reassembly isnt the direct opposite of disassembly. 2) Take your time. It took me 3-4 hours to complete. Nothing is complicated, but things are inconvenient and frustrating. Dont let time also get you frustrated or you want have a chance. 3) Be prepared for a check engine light afterwards. Mine was for the gas pedal position sensor, which made sense given it was unplugged for the repair (and I turned on the car with the pedal unplugged at one point to test the new blower). Very easy to check and clear at a local auto parts store. 4) Know that this will he challenging for flexibility, by far the most difficult repair I've done, but not complicated by any means.
Great video. Followed it step by step and son and I pulled it off and back to blowing cold air again. The only deviation we ran into was what you show at 4:02 min in, the pin in the break peddle. Ours was installing the opposite way and took small hands, video feed and a lot of swearing to get it pulled out. At least we installed back the proper way after. Thank you!
Great video, thorough and comprehensive. I was able to follow step by step, I also replaced the resistor while I was in there. (Watched your video on that as well) 12/23/24 Thanks!
Clear, concise instructions. Best videos. I would recommend removing the driver's seat, replacing the blower motor resistor and the cabin air filter since you're already in there. A faulty blower motor can definitely damage the blower motor resistor.
Excellent video! Just to add a few things. With everything out its a great time to change out cabin filter. Also if you a bigger person I took out my front seat. That allowed me to lay on my back and see everything as I was doing the blower motor removal and install😊😊
My blower works intermittently.. we replaced the original 2 years ago and now it is acting up. Someone suggests to replace the resistor first before replacing the motor. What do u guys think ? Labor is 200, another After market motor is 240 in Edmonton Canada.
Do I really have to take all that apart or is it for easier access? My heat completely stopped working a few minutes ago and it's getting cold here in NH
Just finished this job. It is not difficult if you have basic tools, and are somewhat skilled. My tips are replace the fan resistor and cabin filter at the same time while its apart, and remove the seat it makes it much more comfortable and a better angle to get at things. Overall, it's not a terrible job.
Great stuff brother! This worked for me. I edit or tip if I may? When re installing the pedal assembly make sure the u shaped brake bracket is on BOTH sides of the brake pedal. You were 100% that sucked but is wasn't that hard. Thank you.
Did you ever reconnect that loose piece of ductwork that directs air towards your feet? It's shown at the 12:12 mark to the right and I never saw you reconnect it.
I want to check my blower motor relay to eliminate that as the cause of my problem, but I can't get it out. I assume it would just pull out, but the blue plastic box comes off , and the guts stay attached. Am I missing a release point ?
Muy buen video sólo aseguren de colocar bien el pedal del freno y meter la cabeza debajo del tablero no es nada fácil, pero lo pude hacer, gracias por su ayuda
Excellent vid. Too bad Nissan dropped the ball on this and made it near impossible even for backyard mechanics. I personally would never buy a Nissan. My roommates bad luck.....

This is definitely an outstanding video. It has thoroughly convinced me to have a professional do it! LOL

Absolutely love TRQ videos. Took over my wife’s old Nissan Rogue and have used almost every video you guys made to fix the car😂😂😂
I just did this for the second time in three years. Removing the actuator motor made all the difference. Thank you!
Best video walking through the repair yet. Thanks for the help! You were clear and concise!
Just replaced the blower motor and resistor today. Your video was a tremendous help. Thanks!

Thanks! This video was a lifesaver!

Couldn't have done it without this awesome video! Thank you!

Great video!!! Great information!!! Love your videos, keep up the good work!!

There's absolutely no way I'm going to be able to do this without removing the front seat.
Appreciate the video!
I absolutely love these videos, I just used this video to do my fan in my Rogue. Thanks for the help!!
I have a/c blowing again, thank you! Saved my girlfriend from the Texas summer sun.
This helped a lot thanks bro just did my girlfriend's blower motor. This def helped 💪
excellent video. helped me change mine this morning.
Looks like a total nightmare. I’m thinking about just paying somebody for this one 😂
Thanks for your help, I solved my problem. It really took me a while to do it, but in the end I did it.
How do I know if I need a fan or just the resistor?
Just did one today. Pulled the driver seat and laid on my back. A bit fiddly as expected from Nissan. Junk design.

+@naduane13 Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Very nice!! 🎉I saw your video and changed the fan just like you did.
I was charged $4100 for this work and the mechanic said it took 16 hours to complete. Does that sound accurate or was i taken for advantage?
How long should it take your average weekend mechanic? Did you edit more than half?
Did you ever reconnect that loose piece of ductwork that directs air towards your feet? It's shown at the 12:12 mark to the right and I never saw you reconnect it.
Thank you all! This was very helpful!

Why dont channels like this one get more credit 😭
Great video thanks
Extremely helpful thank you

Can you remove the actuator before you take the motor out?
On a 2015 rogue it’s you can access the blower motor behind the glove box
FIRST STEP !!!!
Remove the driver side seat assembly.
Thank me later.
Good 👍 👍 job
Tip: While you're there with the pedals removed, replace the cabin filter and the HVAC resistor, as well.
+Robert Bjärmyr Thanks for the tip!
My check engine light is on now???
Not under the center console
Good jop!!!!!👍👍👍🍾
Thanks
wtf! too much work
I can't get it to plug in. Super frustrating
I’ll never buy another Nissan again
Excellent vid. Too bad Nissan dropped the ball on this and made it near impossible even for backyard mechanics. I personally would never buy a Nissan. My roommates bad luck.....
+@73SprintMan Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Why not go through the glove compartment area. Remove the glove compartment on the passenger side? I just watched another video that shows that
Im gonna do this.
Your video didn't help a lot. Thank you very much
Que fabricantes mas estúpidos 😂 todo eso para quitar el blower
