Can a Thyroid Gland Recover?

We're back for another edition of Thyroid Thursday and today we're asking a question I get asked a lot. Can a thyroid gland recover and can someone get off thyroid medication? It depends on how bad your thyroid gland has been damaged and it also depends on whether you actually address the things that cause the thyroiditis or the glandular hypothyroidism to begin with.
