So there is a few tests but hopefully this will change. Pre arrival PCR test is required to enter Thailand within 72 hours of arrival in Thailand
When I arrived in Thailand, the requirement was day 0 PCR testing and then on day 5-7 another PCR test. These have to be undertaken at a government facility.
There may be slightly different variations depending on your situation. Always check local embassy guidance on what’s required as things change regularly
