- In preparation for Mann's Guide, I've been using the Huntsman way more, and thus have a ridiculous amount of clips stored up. Here's just a few of them to hold y'all over

ACHKTUALLY, technically its not the ARROWS hitbox that are large, but instead the arrows use a different method of hit detection that more or less just draws a box around the enemy. So while the 'hitbox' is large, its technically the enemies hitbox, not the arrow.

The great thing about the huntsman is you can be as methodical or as stupid as you want with it and you are most likely rewarded for it.
The ironic dilemma, depending on viewpoint of your victims, people could also see it as either or, regardless of your intent. (Most likely stupid, understandably).

The Huntsman is hilarious because it's an inverse bell curve.
You're either a god with it and pop off, or you're a complete dumbass and pop off. If you _try_ to pop off with it but haven't quite gotten the trick yet, it's like slinging wet noodles.

It’s quite funny that the Source Engine will register a headshot on the Scout even if you aim at his feet when using the Lucksman

It is interesting and fun how the huntmen is the inverse of the rifles on how easy to the headshot classes. Due to huntsman using the projects hitboxes, it is easy to headshot scout but hard to headshot heavies. While the rifles use the hitscan hitboxes, it is easy to headshot heavies but hard to headshot scouts
and with pyros you should aim above their head to get a headshot
I love that valve just decided to make the huntsman arrow snap to the nearest hitbox if it so much as grazes the bounding box.
The arrowheads are just magnetic, and the mercs all just have so many bullets and bits of shrapnel in them that a fridge magnet would stick to them. It's canon i promise don't look it up

The huntsman takes situational awareness and prediction to use effectively, but I feel the intention was a sniper weapon that doesn't take crackshot bizarre bargain aim to use well and thats very thoughtful.
It's my favorite sniper weapon to use because it's so easy to switch from defensive spamming to stupid aggression.
The intention was to give Sniper a weapon designed for midrange combat rather than long range combat, which is something only a few weapons focus on but which allows Sniper to be better offensively.
Huntsman sniper literally soloing a soldier, medic, and heavy is the greatest thing I've seen today

I played a game of Hong Kong with the compound and I was at the enemy's stairs where a demoknight was running up, I shot and just barely missed the demo's head and it hit some random guy behind the demo I didn't even see so I had to pan that demoknight and got a random crit.

Also. My sleep deprived brain did NOT see a punching glove on the end of that arrow in the thumbnail.
Remember: the Huntsman and Fortified compound make use of both the hitscan and projectile hurtboxes (basically what the hitboxes have to hit in order to hurt you), when it hits the projectile hurtbox it snaps to the nearest hitscan hurtbox where it deals the damage
Which is why headshots on Scouts and Spies are so easy to get, they've got huge spaces in front of them where their heads are the closest hitscan hitbox.

One thing to note, 0:26 Unusualifiers for the Director's Vision can still drop (afaik)
Source - I have a Screaming Tiger Director's Vision that I got to unbox last year.
Glove Bow could be a fun item in TF2. It has a bigger hit box but deals less damage, and may have a chance to confuse the target if it hits the headshot?
Or give it the current hitreg and use something smarter for the regular huntsman/compound. Though it seems they're fairly against using the confusion status anymore after the OPness that was the old Sandman, maybe extra knockback or something.
