This shake from what I've experienced isn't negated by the cozy camper, leading to your accidental headshot. I could be completely wrong though, this is just from my experience in game.
I’m also confused what my bullet went through to make it a penetrative kill because the Demoknight had too much HP and the Spy would have died so I’ve got no idea how that happened
@@elmaxoTF2 When doing loopable taunts, the game thinks you're just standing still, however your hitboxes still move with where your model actually is. It’s actually really funny to think of how the entirety of this challenge has probably dulled, if not outright erased, the instinctive production of dopamine in your brain at the sight of a headshot. You don’t go through something like this without getting at least a little bit of mental conditioning creeping in
My best guess for what happened at 24:49 is that it wasn't a flinch, but rather the screen shake from the demo's shield bash that moved your aim. This shake is felt by everyone who's close enough to the demo, regardless of whether they're actually damaged. Looking at the slow-mo replay, you can see that the shake rapidly moves your crosshair's position relative to the spy, both vertically and horizontally.

@@ГалинаОльжубаева does that include each shot or only ones that manage to kill the target since without charge some classes can take upwards of 2 shots in the head
At 28:30 It's actually really simple what's going on. There's a bit of a quirk with how tf2 handles these sort of "close calls" where depending on server lag two people could see different outcomes (i.e. the demoknight smacking you before you're charged, but for you there's a 1/20 of a second delay where you're charged and then smacked. It happens with close call ubers too.) these sort of mix-ups would cause problems where one person would get one result (i.e no flinch or successful uber) but another person would get another result (flinch or dead medic), then once that information reached the server, the conflicting outcomes would cause a crash. Two different things can't happen at once and the server didn't know what to do. To combat this a programmer at valve wrote into the code "lul get fuked" which analyzes the current situation and does exactly what the player with more to lose doesn't want to happen. In this case it saw all the kills without a headshot and the constant resets upon getting a headshot and so it flinched you into that snipers head. Hope this helps.

Man, real-talk, that strat of 'invisible spy to shoot through' with the Machina is like, low-key genius as a defense in a duel with a really good sniper - 'cause you basically have the ultimate bait defense if the Spy is willing to take it for the team.
53:52 - I've heard this knocking sound so often now over the past 2 years that I didn't even register it as genuine at that point. Nice attempt regardless, elmaxo.
Small correction at 34:59 : It's not a 0.00000344326% chance. The odds are (79/80)^1000, which comes out to 0.000003444326-to make that a percentage, you have to multiply it by 100 first. That's still a VERY small chance-0.0003444326%, which is a (roughly) 1 in 290,333 chance (in other words, in 290,333 attempts, you should expect the outcome to occur at least once). It's a pedantic note, but I personally love math and just wanted to clarify the actual odds. The hours estimate is about right-just note that the number used isn't the guarantee for when it'll occur! It's just the number stating when you should expect the earliest reasonable success to occur. A _guaranteed_ result would take on the order of 1,000,000 attempts or more (using a binomial probability), which is ten times that in hours. Note that _guaranteeing_ a result takes far more tries than the first expected success guesses. These factors are why probability, in general, is so difficult to contend with
@@АлександрТкаченко-я8я that's literally the math used in the video lol. Besides, while any individual chance is different, the point of an average is that it _averages out._ You _can_ simply assume it to be 1/80, because of how many trials there are. All of the math is pointless anyway-humans cannot so cleanly be broken down into simple chance, due to unmeasurable factors such as gaining skill in a particular area. Or, as we very much saw, "just being more careful." But none of those aspects were the point of the math. The point of the math was a worst case scenario, using idealized circumstances. No different than when you assume no friction, or no heat losses, in a physics problem. Getting caught up in the little details is, at best, not useful. At worst, it's bad faith. Either way, it's best served as what it was: "what's the worst case scenario, assuming perfect unchanging conditions?" That's what we got. Just figured I'd note that he messed up his presentation of the values received.
I think it was because the Demo nailed him with a charge. Damage deals knockback and charges inflict a bit of extra knockback. Especially if he had some heads to increase the damage.
Im pretty bad at sniper aswell, recently im trying to get better at flicks and overall headshot accuracy but bodyshots in general are always easier and viable. If your target isn't a demo, soldier, or heavy, you can still 1shot the remaining 6 classes. Anyway good luck professional with standards

Being completely honest, this is probably my favorite weapon challenge I’ve seen on UA-cam for tf2 due to the fact that it strays away from the typical challenge formula, that being, doing the same shit for 48 hrs in game and getting minimal outcomes until it is finished, this video separates itself because of the apparent growth taken upon to reach the goal of the challenge, and analyzing failures to reduce said failures, albeit slowing the challenge it employs a level of though not given to other challenges I’ve seen where the skill involved is more often just the fact that the individual UA-camr has the privilege to play the game for such an extended period of time without drawbacks as likely the channel in question is their job, as seen with the 10,000 kill challenge also done by Elmaxo, it is just a testament to the freedom that having a job as a UA-camr provides and detracts skill from the equation when looking at the fact that, for most of the challenge, he had multiple pocket medics and was utilizing the phlog + scorchshot on top of having theroretically all the time in the world do it in each day allotted in the 7 day limit. This video gets a 10/10, loves the effort for it
Now that is some dedication my good man. 7 Days and roughly 30 hours, COULD BE WORSE! Although i was kinda expecting you to use the Sidney Sleeper for this for some reason.
I think what happened around 27:49 is that you shot before the demo knight hit you, headshot the boxtrot spy, body shot the sniper then got flinched because you weren't fully charged anymore.
Man, that machina has got to be worth some money now! That was really exciting! Wow! I did have that thought of being more selective, of nothing mattering except the shots being very very likely to land as bodyshots, quite early on. I don't think that advantage would've mattered, though. I'm nowhere near as good at TF2 as you are.

Lmao
Dang what a waste of time reading that
TL;DR, he was charged for short enough a time the server said "no, lol" and flinched him
you're completely wrong lmao, it's that the screen shake from charging isn't flinching
@@wheeI yeah, that’s 100% what it is

the kraber shot at 0:06 is a bodyshot, entire video disqualified
Just commenting to appreciate the HUGE commitment to this nonsense challenge while making such a compelling story.
This achievement is truly something to be proud of and I deeply admire your commitment and tenacity in being able to power through the difficult moments. Hats off to the editing and expert storytelling. I didn't even realize the video was almost an hour long until I finished watching. You had me captivated the entire way through. Congrats!

I could NEVER do this. Mad props bro. Also, I watched this entire video without looking away, didn’t even realize it was an hour long. I just…. Kept watching. Very good vid!
That knock at 53:50 scared me so much, I'm watching this at 1:36 AM and im shaking
360-odd days later, 1.27am, same scare different year
I've always found fully charged bodyshots to be more satisfying than headshots. The charge up is rewarding
It is because headshots especialy in tf2 are done mostly in blink of they eye meanwhile fully body shoots feels like real sniping. You just sit in your camp patiently looking for your pray and then must take perfect shot kills + Machina fully charged sound
I love bodyshot with classic scouts like why i would waste a full charge to headshot a 125 hp class or burning soldier on the air
53:50 I had surround sound earbuds in and I had this playing in the background, I swear to god I thought someone was at my window. I got up and woke my mom up, she got her pistol and we checked it out and I had the brilliant idea to see if on the off chance it was on my phone.
And boy oh boy.
It was.
Thanks Elmaxo, thanks for putting hyper realistic knocking in your video so a stoned dumbass could wake the family up at midnight.

There was not, in fact, someone coming to your location right then to murder you.

This was very well done, a difficult challenge edited into 57 entertaining minutes!
28:26 The reason you flinched was the shield bash.
Gosh I love TF2.
I have a seizure every time I play sniper causing me to miss everything standing still
Next up: "How i got 200 kills with the pomson without missing!"
you mean 1 kill. thats hard enough
Next : "how i got 300 kills with airstrike without rocket jumping"
How I got 1000 crit kills on the Market Gardener without being airborne.
@@ze_hurting thats easy
the air strike is actually really really good if you just... dont air strike
try playing with it like its stock and you will discover how good having 8 rockets is
Man, real-talk, that strat of 'invisible spy to shoot through' with the Machina is like, low-key genius as a defense in a duel with a really good sniper - 'cause you basically have the ultimate bait defense if the Spy is willing to take it for the team.
unless the other sniper has the machina too lol
i watched it fully without skiping it, nice video
Question is: wouldnt this be easier with the classic for its no headshots when not fully charged stat?
No because you’ll have to hit them two times (unless fully charged but then what’s even the point of it)
no, the classic deals less damage on bodyshots
With that mentality he might as well have used the Sydney Sleeper.
A better idea Sydney sleeper
No challenge ;(
53:52 - I've heard this knocking sound so often now over the past 2 years that I didn't even register it as genuine at that point.
Nice attempt regardless, elmaxo.

Yo at 55:25 I just realized there was a collat sound when you hit 1000, like a fanfare announcing your completion of this challenge
That is insane,i have no words lol.Cute dog btw :)
Small correction at 34:59 :
It's not a 0.00000344326% chance.
These factors are why probability, in general, is so difficult to contend with
But you are wrong also: if he, on average, resets the counter every eighty kills, that DOES NOT mean, that the chance of reseting is 1/80!
Or, as we very much saw, "just being more careful."
But none of those aspects were the point of the math.
Could you please explain why the hours estimate is right? I would have thought 290,333 would be the minimum trials required to succeed.
@@АлександрТкаченко-я8я Yes it is. For a Bernoulli distribution of parameter p, the expected value is equal to p.

Uploaded on my birthday and one of the best things I got for my birthday, cheers!
For the aim punch dilemma, I think there is a delay between the moment where your shot is charged and the moment the cozy camper acts
I think it was because the Demo nailed him with a charge. Damage deals knockback and charges inflict a bit of extra knockback. Especially if he had some heads to increase the damage.
Great video, now do 1000 kills with ONLY headshots and any body shot resets back to zero

@@bootlegsanesss why
Its opposite for me
Im pretty bad at sniper aswell, recently im trying to get better at flicks and overall headshot accuracy but bodyshots in general are always easier and viable. If your target isn't a demo, soldier, or heavy, you can still 1shot the remaining 6 classes. Anyway good luck professional with standards
You’d get even worse, trust me.
this was absolutely insane, I don't even play tf2 but you made me enjoy an entire hour of it. Good work bro

Good content. I even slammed the ground (in good jest) at 20:20 cause I was so invested in your mission.
I never do such challenge.
But you are made of great honor in finishing this one.
This video gets a 10/10, loves the effort for it
Elmaxo slowly losing his sanity is honestly the best part of this challenge
Now that is some dedication my good man. 7 Days and roughly 30 hours, COULD BE WORSE! Although i was kinda expecting you to use the Sidney Sleeper for this for some reason.
you know you did a good job editing when a 1 hour video feels like it was 10 minutes, good job

Have you read sudney sleeper stats
I think what happened around 27:49 is that you shot before the demo knight hit you, headshot the boxtrot spy, body shot the sniper then got flinched because you weren't fully charged anymore.

Man, that machina has got to be worth some money now! That was really exciting! Wow! I did have that thought of being more selective, of nothing mattering except the shots being very very likely to land as bodyshots, quite early on. I don't think that advantage would've mattered, though. I'm nowhere near as good at TF2 as you are.
It has to be worth 300 bucks, not only is it strange, but also been used by a famous tf2ber and with one of the strangest stats in gaming history
This video quite literally has been the most entertained hour of uninterrupted tf2 content I’ve watched. As a recovering sniper main, I couldn’t dream of doing this. Can’t wait for 1000 kills 0 backstabs kunai
Why didn’t you just use the Sydney sleeper? It can’t headshot to begin with, and it has a faster charge rate which makes it easier to kill snipers on body shots.
