Just saw Def Leppard end of August in Petco Park San Diego, along with Steve Miller Band and Journey. Great show! They seem to perform here every year about that time. Steve Miller is 80 years old and still Rockin'!
Def Leppard has been a hell-of-a great hard rock band for years. If they're one of your favorite hard rock bands get your hands on "Yeah!", a collection of covers that enclude "Rock On", "No Matter What", and "Waterloo Sunset". Thanks POR.
The Hysteria tour was one of my most memorable shows. The florescent colors and the best laser light show I have ever seen. Never have I seen anything like it since. Don't forget the round stage.
Just like our band in the nineties (Sins of the Fallen) we worked our asses off! Lots of fun and experience gained. No.1! Record companies are "loan sharks" bottom line, it's the music BUSINESS! Not the music party happy illusion turned real world.
I wouldn’t go as far as saying it was Sgt. Pepper, but it was a damn good one, still is. It reads like a greatest hits. Only other album I can thing does that is Thriller.
They basically stole big hit songs and recorded them backwards. If you were a real rocker/metalhead you weren't a Leppard fan (in public). We (had the LA and) Orange County scenes. They were the equivalent of the Go-Go's, Duran Duran of "rock-metal"
Strippers everywhere are grateful for this album.
And Fire Woman by The Cult
😂
Some of the best music of the 80s
"High and Dry" is one of the greatest rock records of ALL time! 💚🎸
I agree. At the time i didnt get into it, but over the years ive come to like it more and more.
Yep. They made the ultimate rock record. In 81’.
Still my favorite Def Leppard album to this day.
Shameful that they have almost wiped out On thru the Night and High N Dry from their history....2 fantastic albums....

One of my favorite albums.
Pyromania was my favorite. 16, first car good system. Great summer.

@Doadab13 I used to cruise to that album too. I would rewind "Photograph" over and over. Great album...💚🎸
Pyromania rules!! I can’t believe my parents let me have that record, but they did!
@@arclight2012 you lds.
@@Doadab13 haha no, I just had strict parents.
Forever, and Always will (Def leppard)be the Biggest Rock -n- Roll band, For every Generation!!!

Yup, saw them on that tour, too, with Tesla opening. They were both great.
I bought High and Dry in December of 1981 when I returned from Korea. Still to this day My favorite rock album from any band.
“Photograph” is their best song.
Absolutely an anthem..🌹
❤ YES !!!
Im with you baby
My favorite song ever!!!
Well, in all fairness, with Def Leppard it was only one arm 💪🏻.
He is my number one ...I absolutely love me some Def Leppard... Joe Eillott is my absolute favorite singer
Determination paid off big when it all fell into place!!
Anyone else smile with the Monty Python and Holy Grail clip? Lol
Love That Monty Python Movie 😂 ITTT'S just a Flesh Wound Lol 🤣
Tis just a scratch!

And it was Amazing ❤
Awesome album. But I love High N Dry the best.
@@karl6852 I loved high n dry too. I like band’s early albums the most. When the sound is raw. Their first was on through the night. It was good to.
I don’t care what anyone says about Hysteria, that album is great
These guys were the best concert I saw. I was 16. It was Billy Squire and Def at Market Square arena in Indy
Hysteria and Whitesnake were my High school soundtrack!
I almost didn't recognize him. Been awhile 😂
Guy 1: Bring out your dead
Guy 3: But, I'm not dead!
I'm getting better
Joe Elliot. Still handsome AF! Rock on baby! ❤
Are you trying to be funny????? 😬😬😬
i love the behind the scenes ~ thank you @professorofrock🙌
I saw that tour in Victoria. The drummer had two arms.
I saw Def open for Blackfoot 81
I can't help thinking Worzel Gummage
I've owned HYSTERIA on every medium except 8-Track and Quantum Memory Crystal😅
Still think High N Dry was their best album...
Wow! What an analogy: "Like Monty Python knight, having all his arms and legs cut off. I don't think the drummer would appreciate that.

Bollocks!
Is that a wig with Barbie’s hair?
I have NO respect for Def Leppard. My feeling at the time was that it was NO surprise that the poor cat was deaf! ALL NOISE ROCK AND ROLL! GTFO
He actually brought up the
No ARMS scene???🫣
