I think we all struggle the most with our own internal battles. I wanted to write a song to help people feel what they need to feel and hear what they need to hear to help them change, including myself. -- Elley
When Elley had the idea to write a song about facing oneself, it really struck a nerve with me. In today's world, it seems more difficult to comprehend the experience of truly being alone and accepting it. The current generation of children grow up in an environment where they are constantly connected and seeking validation in every moment. It torments me how dependent we are on attention and validation. -- Teddy

I happened to hear Lose Control on the local pop station a few weeks ago. I was struck dumb at the singer's voice. Now I found it on UA-cam. I am in love and obsessed with this man's music. I hear it in my sleep, I wake up to it! Teddy, I love you and the fantastic band that is a big part of you and this magic you create together. I haven't felt this happy for a long time. Jeez.. the emotional roller coaster I went through when listening to this. Been stumbling all my life on and off with addiction and mental struggles due to an extremely rare and fucked up childhood/teenage years. I also tend to find the most beautiful souls out there but life keeps reminding me on a daily basis how unsuited I am to be with someone. What hurt’s me the most is that I can’t just relax my soul and accept the love I’m getting from my other half. I push them away unintentionally because of my lack of communication skills and anger issues. I say the most horrible things without meaning them and I watch the whole situation slowly after getting multiple chances to do better rot and decay. Why did god select me to be like this :(

As an avid, addicted hardcore follower, I can’t thank God enough for allowing me to hear Teddy perform for the first time last year and stopping now, not a chance. He can control his mouth and voice like a fine tuned instrument and I could look at his mouth as he sings and just listen to that vocal goodness and instrumentation, called music. As a woman and as a therapist I can feel this sweet soul’s hurt, pain, disappointment, unanswered questions, wondering, longing, and loneliness, yet he’s searching for the love he deserves and I could listen to him for hours and his gorgeous eyes would help that process. On going, revolving sessions as many as he wants and needs and for as long as necessary. I want him to empty himself and begin to learn the good replacements that are healthy for him. This awesome man needs to be hugged, held, listened to, not judged anymore. He has such a quiet spirit and a golden heart. His talent is unmatched at a time like this. I know the demons are there but he only needs to be taught he has power over them and someone to believe in him and walk him through to the other side. Oh, btw, his therapy would be free 😳, don’t judge me 😀🙃😉
