@@chrisstellers3419 that’s funny I noticed that. In a 10 speed mustang you can cruise 80mph at 2k rpm’s . I’m getting a 2016 versa with the 5 speed to daily drive so I don’t put unnecessary miles on the stang although wish I would’ve gotten the 6 speed, much more fun
So true. I am in the market for a new 2023 with 5 speed manual and there is nothing in Birmingham that is a base model, lol. I am driving tomorrow to Atlanta to possibly get one. IDK whats up with Alabama but car prices are jacked up here and they don't like carrying base model cars or optional AWD vehicles.
MAN, I have a 23 Forte GT Manual ordered but I'm considering this car. I truly am!! The GT Manual has heated seats, sunroof, push button start, android auto / apple carplay, and another gear. SIXTH. But this is just cheap, easier to work on, and maintain. I test drove a 21 gt manual and fell in love. UGH. So much power and so much fun. but it's almost 8 grand more than this car.
The police have all the evidence they need right here on this vedio, they don't need to catch you. So enjoy the test ride! And thank you . Great job. 👍
thanks... considering a 2024 with 5 speed,, Electric Blue. This video just increased my interest,,now it depend on what I can get for my trade that I owe $10k on... and what God will bless me with.
Thanks for the review! I'm very much wanting to learn how to drive a manual car, but it's hard to find a good teacher. Especially a teacher who won't charge insane rates to learn the right way.
The salesman at the dealership would probably teach you. I used to years ago when I sold cars thru college. Many people only took about 30 minutes. Start with a empty parking lot ignoring the gas pedal and working just the clutch so you know how it engages, then add in the gas pedal.
@@wing_teletran1 it's so much fun after you learn and mechanically is so much more reliable. I really hope you learn, it's well worth it. (Also a great theft prevention) Cheers!
I think this is a good idea and car think about it quite a bit of people can afford a sub 20k$ car than a 40k$ car or suv and it is a manual a good thing to learn but for a new car for under 20k$ I think it is a great car gets you were you need to go and it is great on gas and a bit fun to drive with the manual.
I've rented a couple, and really like the 5 speed model, but they are rare in my area. Unfortunately, dealers are charging new car prices for two year old versas.
Nice video and scenery. I'm considering trading my 2019 Jetta with 55,000 miles which has a manual for a new Versa with a manual. If the Jetta's trade-in value is about the same as the selling price for the Versa, I'd be willing to get it.
It’s a good car , probably a little smaller than a Jetta? But I imagine better gas mileage with the Versa , probably reliability too. Now if you’re a speed demon this isn’t the car for you but I will say it is a pretty dang fun car and is a good daily driver.
Great detail videos. Dumb question, does the hill assist work in reverse? Say your backing up on a hill? I would imagine it does. Very cool option! Thank you
It does seem low geared to me. 1st gear is short. I don’t have the car anymore or I would answer your 2nd question as I don’t know off the top of my head. When you’re on the highway it doesn’t hang in high rpm’s or it wouldn’t get such good gas mileage. Thanks for watching!
Not horrible get around town budget back up family car. May pull the trigger on this little critter if i can find a manual at msrp or under. Pay it off in 3 years and run it into the ground.
Watch out for fees. They can add up also don’t get their GAP insurance IMO ,add it on your insurance policy if you can. Other than that they were easy to deal with.
@@edgaryzen4925 oh yeah my bad , I have 2 cars and 2 trucks. Gotta have a backup for both in my scenario of life. Titan is my tow truck , Frontier will be my daily / camping truck. Grand marquis is my daily , and Mustang will be my fun car.
I've owned my 2018 Versa 5 speed manual for 5 years and it has been trouble free except for a noisy rear wheel bearing that I replaced myself for under $40.
I've driven both the CVt and 5 speed versions. The experience is like night and day. The 5 speed is perfect for this car.
@@carbrickscity It;s the same thing in Canada. It's a North American thing. Everybody got lazy I guess.
Someone said this thing could use a 6th gear. That is screams on the highway at 70MPH 3500rpm. Anyone have additional thoughts in that ?
@@chrisstellers3419 It sings just fine at 3500 rpm. All kinds of power and acceleration as well.

New 2022 Versa with 5-speed manual are rare as 1949 Corvettes where I live. I think Nissan made one & this is it.
HAHA 😄

Definitely, I’d rather drive a Versa like a Mustang, then drive a Mustang like a granny.
That Jetta ain't worth it bro, trade that sucker in while the market is still crazy
Your car is worth about 9K now, so will be about 10K difference with tax and all that jazz.
Looks beautiful. My 2017 is still super!
Your CVT will fail . It was designed to go wrong ...Ask any mechanic who knows

Best I remember 3500 rpm stick, vs 2000 rpm CVT
Hey man, do the rear seats fold down? The Nissan literature makes it sound like they don't.
They don't in the "S" trim and a manual only comes in the "S" trim.
I have the SV model, and the seats do fold down
I want the red 2023
“its hot out I need to roll down a window”. …??? does the car not have air conditioning….?
It absolutely does
Ac is for dweebs
Hi handsome. Great video. How is the sound quite?
It’s a fairly quite riding car. No louder than any other small car.

How do you check the temperature on the dash?
No way to do that
mine revs between gears if i don't give it enough time between shifts.
What kind of gas mileage does this car get?
30 combined , 35 hwy , 27 city

HOW CAN IT BE RELIABLE if you ONLY had it for 750 miles ????

6 months ??????
