Fury unleashed with bolts of Lightning - Christmas Day 2023

Mother Nature released her fury across the Gold Coast on Christmas Day evening with a lightning and thunderstorm that lasted more then 2 hrs. The storm came in from overland heading east to the ocean. On it's approach towards the Gold Coast we witnessed an intense lighting display across the sky.
Once we started hearing the thunder we new the storm was getting closer to us, eventually closing in overhead and unleashing cyclonic winds and torrential rain and hail.

Don't forget the tornado that wreaked havoc from Cedar Vale to Runaway Bay with wind speeds in excess of 200kph!
