This is definitely one of THE best thunderstorms i've seen here on U tube , awesome lightning, and I love the continuous sound of rumbling thunder at one point. I love the way thus video captures the storm as its approaching and the height of the storm and as its going away it was still producing some big lightning strikes. Well done to whoever has done this video really enjoyed watching this 👏 😊

@@severestormhungary4641 we very rarely get storms as severe as that here where I am in the UK, I’m in Redditch Worcestershire and we are in a dip here any storms that do come tend to come up either from the East or South and skirt round us, we’re lucky if we see a few flashes of lightning, we haven’t had what I would call a proper thunderstorm here now for ages which is why I watch a lot of thunderstorm videos on u tube. Am amazed how many forms of lightning there is but the thunder sounds different with them. With fork lightning the thunder sounds like a ripping sound through the sky whereas sheet lightning the most common type sound more like a rumble that gradually fades away.
Awesome lightning strikes!! Here in Virginia, we get MEAN storms that have lightning like that! Most of our storms have massive shelf clouds or they are supercell storms. We nearly had a tornado here three times earlier this year and three times last year. We get some wicked weather and the storms just pop up out of nowhere!
Then your days aren't boring either. These big storms are very spectacular.

@@keytogamesfr Cap, we get them in our region all the time in the spring and summer. Visit SWVA in the spring and summer when you get a chance and you'll see. We get severe thunderstorms a lot here. We had a tornado warned storm go overtop of us back in mid August this year. Luckily, the rotation was too broad so it didn't drop a tornado on us. Usually, rotating thunderstorms and Bow Echo storms come at us from the Southwest where the mountain range is flatter. You also have to think, in the Appalachian Mountains, the heat and humidity is around 70-95% with an 80 degree dew point in the spring and summer and that feeds storms, so once a low pressure stream dips down towards our mountains, the storms start to explode and they form rapidly out of nowhere because it doesn't take long for the hot and cold air to combine where we're in a high elevation region and when those storms fully mature into towering thunderheads, they get violent. The most recent thunderstorm we has was the same night they called for snow a few days ago. The most recent tornado we had was last April at the Washington and Smyth County line. Ask any of us about the storms around here and you'll get an answer similar to mine.
HAHA our VA weather is not like that. We had a boring season without storms. I experienced wayy more severe storms living in IL for 23 years. Since moving to VA in 2017 I’ve only witnessed like a couple severe out of being here. We need the weather from Texas or Oklahoma!⚡️⚡️⚡️
