I lost my youngest child at the age of 13 and while I know she was way too young to have a child I still wish if she had to go I would have had a piece of her left
I know that doesn’t make sense but I long for her so that I cannot explain to you how that feels
So while this is not what you would want for your child or grandchild it is still a life and a piece of Katie ! And let me tell you - you are going to love this baby once you hold it like nothing you can fathom!! I have one grandchild from my oldest and she has helped to heal our broken heart more than anything else could
I long for that glorious reunion day and I know we will be reunited because of our faith in Jesus Christ
But Katie is with you and that sweet baby will be with you so just love them and hug them and thank God for them
You and Matt will be the strong hold to this child and teach it and raise it up in the old ways
Katie will be a wonderful Mom too and this child will fill your house with so much happiness !!

Here comes Grand baby #1! As a Christian I so understand the situation. I was in that situation 50 years ago. My parents welcomed my son with open Christian grandparent arms and he has always enjoyed being the first grand child in our family. Bless you all and it will be great. Love the news bee story. I’m a retired RN. i have seen countless patients in their eighties and nineties have very successful large surgical procedures. It surprised me at the time how well they did. My father-in-law had open heart to replace a valve at 94. He lived to 101.

We watched our 17 year old granddaughter's last golf match this weekend. I was so sad because this child means so much to us. Our daughter had her without being married and lived with us until she was 2 years old. Being a senior this year is so wonderfully amazing and so very bittersweet. Between us and her parents, it seems someone is always following her around taking pictures, and she is so sweet about it because she knows how much she is loved. You will be amazed how much you love this child.

My son and his girlfriend had our youngest granddaughter last January and we don’t know what we’d do without her! You’re a precious family and are so good to support Katie. 😊❤️
My daughter got pregnant at 19 and the father didn't want to marry her. It was a hard time for her and us, but that little boy was such a joy. He still is and he's 23 now. You will smother that baby and he or she will be so loved. You know that saying ' it takes a village' and it does. You guys are awesome people and it will be great.
Also, I keep picturing Katie's toddler saying, "Mama, the Lord wants you to be good to me!" 😁

I’m a great-grandma and became a Christian before I was grown so over the years I’ve seen good Christians girls in the same situation as Katie. I’m so proud of Katie for making the very hard video sharing her heart with us and I’m confident that God will use her to be a Christian Mom for her precious little one. I’m proud of y’all for being good parents and supporting and raising both your children for the Lord. I didn’t doubt for a second that y’all would do the godly thing and the right thing to support, help and love Katie through this pregnancy and the years ahead. What a blessing that Granny had a good report about the tumor being localized 🙏 so so many people lifting her up in prayer and to have her already crocheting for the new baby to come. I wondered what her reaction might have been. Love the visit and the popsicle chat 💞
I'm so glad to hear Granny is doing ok. I helped take care of my mom after she had a massive stroke that paralyzed her entire left side. I lost her in 2013 at age 75. I'm so glad I had the chance to spend so much time with her. My youngest son became an unwed father when he was 25 and though it started out a little rough my first granddaughter is like a shiny star in my life. She is 12 now and has always lived with her daddy. He takes such good care of her, even learned to braid her hair. She really brought out the best in him. Congratulations to you and Matt on your first grandbaby!

I love how your mom is looking forward to next year even though she is sick. I think this is what the Lord wants us to do to occupy with good things and thoughts. My mom at 86 was telling me how she wants to improve her garden for next year. I always like when she talks like this and not the opposite of not wanting to do anything because she is old. My mom has two friends 87 and 85. They are always looking forward to life. Her friend who is 85 has dealt with many different illnesses but keeps on going. The common denominator is they all love the Lord.

You're right Tipper you and Matt can't imagine how much you'll love your grandchild. Our daughter found herself in the same situation 19 years ago. You do go through a lot of emotions and worry for your child, but then that settles and the love takes over, and grows, and grows. Our precious grandson has been nothing but joy, pride, and love for us. The love we have for him and our other grand children is unexplainable. He has brought so much good to his Mommas' life. Yes, maybe Katie made a mistake, but God has turned it into a wonderful blessing!....I would love a scenery video! Love and prayers for the precious Pressley family!

My daughter gave us two wonderful grandsons before she was married! The marriage didn’t work out because he wasn’t raised well, loved. But those two boys are gifts from God! Y’all will be blessed too. ❤ God doesn’t make mistakes!! I was called Grandma at first, until my first grandson started calling me Memaw Maggie. I love it because I had a beloved Memaw Maggie.

Tipper please tell Katie to be careful with the various chemicals she uses in her silver work and auto/truck work. Some solvents are really toxic to a developing baby! I’m sure it’ll all work out the best way possible! Y’all got this!

I can't think of a more wonderful family for a baby to be born into. You both are going to be awesome grandparents! With you talking about fall cooking outside, its getting closer to the time where we like to make campfire chili in the backyard in my family, and roast hotdogs and marshmallows to go with it. The wood smoke gives the chili such a great flavor. It was even better when my dad was still hunting and it would be venison in the chili instead of beef, but its still good eating either way. I'm so glad the initial news about Granny is positive. Thoughts and Prayers from Central Illinois!
Co gratulations on being grandparents. Being a grandparent is the best and there is a special bond between grandparents and grandchildren. Who knows maybe katie will have twins and matt will get two little boys to hike, fish, and hunt with.
Congratulations to Katie and y'all. I remember when Hardees opened in our town. It opened next to a family-owned drive-in restaurant that sold delicious hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, and shrimp baskets. The Hardees closed shortly after and over 55 years later that family-owned restaurant is still in business serving curbside in the car 😊

I was completely supported by my mom when she called and asked if I was pregnant (out of wedlock) . She felt the Holy Spirit speaking to her heart. I was shocked when she said, thank you. I was 34 yrs old, of course. But still, I was very thankful

You can move asparagus if you want. We dug up ours from the fences around the cattle pastures. Dad ended up with about half and acre of prime asparagus. Once in a while he used cow manure on it generaly before spring and it's emergance. Thanks. Dad could cook venison like no once else and your Matt brings back wonderful memories. As I listen, I find myself praying that Katie’s pregnancy is a healthy and happy one! I sent her a journal to record her journey, and have a strong sense that she’s carrying a boy … time will tell ☺️. Regardless, we know God will provide. My mom and dad always said every child comes with a loaf of bread 😉. So much joy in the midst of so much sorrow, saying goodbye to Miss Cindy, and Granny dealing with cancer. God is there through it all!! His grace is sufficient ❤
Granny’s attitude is amazing..looking forward to next years garden. That’s half the battle! Katie is very fortunate for all the family support she has because you and Matt have unconditional love that Jesus has for us✝️

Because there was paternity testing involved in the birth of our first grandchild , she was 9 months old when we knew for sure she was ours. The day after we received the news we indeed were grandparents my husband told me, “ I think I’m going to like being a grandpa but I’m not sure how I feel about being married to a grandma.” God gave us 6 more and now we’ve moved on to great grandkids. God has given our human hearts a wonderful capability to love. It will take you only a moment to fall in love with your grand baby. Praying for your family as you are going through many changes. ❤

There’s a saying I love so much… “The universe unfolds as it should” Can’t say im always pleased when curveballs come my way but I live with no regrets myself. Katie was blessed with this baby for a reason ,and I think I can speak for all of us subscribers by saying we didn’t deserve to know private business but the fact you all shared these moments with is a privilege.She’s a great woman, and you’re a great family and babies….well babies are the best thing and boy is it going to get spoiled. I do echo another commenter that we’d love to do an online subscriber baby shower for her when the time comes. I know I’m going to send that little one come gifts from the great white north 😂❤❤and I’ll be happy to team up with any subs that want to send gifts .As for anyone being negative…it says a lot about them 😠 and ignore them please. The weeds just took our garden too, but we just plan to do better this year. Katie will be such a great Mom and you all will be the best Grandparents. Before me and Doug met i was in the same situation with my first son. I was 18 and scared to death,but luckily Katie has some great support and loving people surrounding her .I had to grow up pretty quick, but many lessons were learned,and Doug helped raise him as his own. He was a God sent. Great news on Granny. Continued prayers for her and you all. God bless you all and have a blessed night.

Watching your UA-cam channel I feel like I am watching my family growing up gardening, going to church every Sunday, hunting, fishing, and bluegrass music (My grandpa play the mandolin.) I had a child out of wedlock when I was 20. She was a unplanned blessing ( even now that she is almost 21 she will say I was a mistake and her dad and I correct her and say. No! You are unplanned blessing.) She helped me grow as a mother. Her father and I got married when she was 10 months old and this year we will celebrate our 20th Anniversary this year. Prayers for Katie, baby, and your whole family.

My daughter got pregnant at 17 and it seemed devastating at the time. God is merciful and is a tender loving compassionate Lord. My son died and that very baby made me have to live again. She was and is the biggest blessing the Lord ever gave me. She has a 4.4 grade point average in 11th grade and is genius smart and sweet❤ God is in control and makes things work together for his glory. This little baby will be an amazing blessing to y’all. I want to say thank you for speaking Biblical truth. I of course absolutely support Katie choosing life. Period. I just hoped people on her video didn’t miss that it’s not just hard to be a single mother or statistics, but that it isn’t God’s plan for us to fornicate & that is a sin still today. I’m not casting any stone. I even wrote on Katie’s video how I was in same situation & didn’t close correctly after my sin & to this day so deeply regret that. But it is so important to teach our young people God’s word. I wished I would of had that teaching. I pray they will have eyes to see & ears to hear. Anyway, you spoke so graciously & in love, just wanted to say thank you about that.

My daughter blessed me with my grandson in the same way. He has been such a blessing from the very beginning. He will be 15 in November. She has a 7 year old and a 4 year old daughter. They have brought sooo much joy to our family. Her husband is a good man. But, the father of my oldest grandson is not in the picture much. His choice.

Hey Tipper! I have recently had the robotic surgery for uterine cancer. It was so much easier for recovery then traditional open surgery. I am praying for Granny. If it is uterine cancer or endometrial cancer just know that most Types of those cancers are very slow growing.

Dear Tipper, I was a 15 year old unwed teenager in high school when I got pregnant. My Momma & Daddy weren’t thrilled by the idea of having a teenage daughter and grandchild. She was born a premie. Everyone loved her so much. It took a village for me to continue school and help raise my baby girl.
My Mother & Brother were especially attached to her.
We had no way of knowing they would be tragically taken from us in 2007. I couldn’t have survived the loss of my family without the support of my daughter. Now, that little girl is all grown up with a family of her own. She has went on the become a Registered Nurse in the OB unit. Life turned out just the way it was supposed to. God knew all along.
Much love and prayers for Katie. Granny will continue to be in my prayers. You and Matt will be phenomenal grandparents!
