Thank you so much for sharing these blogs. Love everyone I can get. Read every one almost every day…will be having a son-in-law set up instagram for me…there is so much I want.
@@CelebratingAppalachia thank you for the answers. I have seen those blooms before and though they were wild but did not know that they were. I thought they were what I have at the corner of my house but they grow low and they are called house leaks..they have a soft pink look later in the summer
can we all agree that Matt and Tipper are a lovely couple?
You are so kind-thank you 😀
Blessed be they are forsure I'm happy to know I'm not the only one to see it.
They get along so well and are happy with each other!❤
It is true.
Agree completely 😊
Tipper: I don't play pranks.
Also Tipper: I think I'll sell Matt's truck over the radio. 😊
😀
😂😂😂
😂😂
I don’t do or like pranks either! An old stick in the mud😂😂
😀@@maryanngames9353
Tipper, darlin', when push comes to shove, you're the biggest prankster of all -- you PRANK-SOLD MATT'S TRUCK !!!!! Now, THAT was mean, but, what is the old saying? A woman in love is lawless! God bless!
I remember her telling that! If that was her only prank, it was a good one, and totally worth it!
😀 so true! That was the ultimate prank 😀 He shouldn't have made me so mad 😀
First thing I thought about when she was talking about pranks
😅
Yes....she did pull that prank I remembered when you said it. The ultimate PRANK !!!!!!
Matt is a hoot. I almost spit out my Dr Pepper when you said you had more wisdom now. Without skipping a beat Matt asked you where’d you put it. 😂😂😂
Love that twinkle in the eye when you talk about the past. It is called " fragrance of memory " and it pleases the heart.
Love that! Thank you 😀
Okay I had to pause to comment. Matt's face at 21:45 is magical. He's so absolutely tickled with himself 😂😂😂
😀
I could envision the exact face even before going to the time stamp 😂
Also his face when he said that Tipper was smitten!
These two are what true love looks like
Thank you both for sharing yourselves with us. God bless you both. I'm continuing to pray for Granny and all of you.
Thanks so much 😀
Y’all do a fine job of slowing us down. Your talks remind me of when my family would get together and just chit chat until after dark. We said so much even though it might have seemed like nothing. Just being together had a peace and happiness all its own. Thank you bringing back those simpler times if only for awhile. Love to all.
Absolutely !
I also love The Waltons. I watched when it first aired. Later when it came out on DVD I bought all nine seasons. The Waltons reminds me so much of my family when I was growing up. We had six children instead of seven. Everything else could be my life growing up, including a mom who was a devoted Christian and a dad who didn’t go to church just like Olivia and John Walton.
Thanks Tipper and Matt for sharing your lives with us❤
That was a fun one, thanks folks! I think y’all are exactly where you’re meant to be, you have a beautiful life💕take care of each other🕊️😊
😀 Thank you!
Katie reminds me of her dad and Corie reminds me of you Mrs Tipper. Q&A is always nice. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. God bless you both and your family. 😊
Matt never stop singing. That’s one of Gods blessings. Tipper my husband was a fine joke teller and prankster. He’d scare me too pieces, I’d get over it and looked forward to him doing it again.😂 Would have loved living in Cade Coves days. Our health care system has much to be changed. Thanks for the chat. 🎉
Y’all are hilarious! So comfortable together…thanks for sharin & showin what a truly beautiful marriage looks like. In my days as a psychologist, I saw so many couples struggle. I’m elated to say, Walter & I have a blessed marriage of 32 years! Our Anniversary is October 12th, Walt will be tenderly takin care of me post knee replacement surgery…that’s what it’s all about.
Blessings,
Allison 🌼
Loved this. Matt made me laugh several times. When he described Katie's temper, it made think of something that someone said to me once. "You're a firecracker and your fuse is already lit". Enjoyed this. ~ Betty
Thank you for sharing your stories, I love to hear them. God bless ☮️
😀
Love the question and answer time. You all are a precious couple!
I’m so happy to hear that you guys are saved! Born again! Yay 😊
It is always interesting to me to hear the stories from other parts other than where I grew up. You said you are 50, or at least have turned 50 at some recent time -- my husband and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary this year. We are so excited that we are about to make it. So many don't even seem to try to make a marriage work, but it is a blessing to us that we are here, at the threshold of the day! November 2. You must have been a baby when we married. Our oldest son is 48. Time marches on. Things change. Nothing in the world like being a grandparent. Now we are great grandparents, 4 times over. It is wonderful, even though none of them are close to us. All our grands were close to us growing up. We have been blessed -- God is so good to us. We do all fail daily, but His Grace is sufficient. Thanks, Matt and TIpper!
Matt looks so much more relaxed and happy. Don’t work him too hard, Tipper. 😀
Valerie in SC
Love hearing your stories! Watch out for them bears! Praying for your mom and a healthy happy grand baby!
I’m 66 and don’t feel like I should be but my body tells on me.
😀
Tipper. I loved the Waltons also. Every Christmas season, I watch the original Christmas movie several times. It's such a warm loving movie. I am a senior citizen and I enjoy the time pertod.
I have to laugh every time Matt is part of the videos. His sense of humor is hilarious. He reminds me of my daddy. Funny about the Brunswick stew. We call it "Alabama Camp Stew".
So glad for this video today, thank you! ❤ Can't wait for Matt to talk about his plans for his grandson 😊
I agree. Im sure that Matt will be a great grandpa. Im happy for them all to get a boy coming into the family.
Perfect time for him to retire. I wish I could spend more time with my grandkids but I still work full time
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Appreciate you all sharing your thoughts with us. You have had a wonderful life so far and wonderful life ahead of you!
Love this style of video.
Thanks Tipper!
Great people. You both remind me of my folks. Similar values. Really enjoy your channel, Tipper, and the Girls Channel.
I enjoy Matt’s hunting stories. I was 40 when I retired after 20 years in the Army and I wish I was that age again. I am now 73 and have a hard time getting around and miss my mobility. I especially miss hunting and camping cause I’m a lot like Matt. I’m sure Matt looks forward to teaching his grandson fishing, camping and hunting. It’s great to have the opportunity to still watch the old tv westerns on tv. God bless your whole family.
Love when you answer questions from us ❤ Thank you for sharing ❤️
Both of you are so sweet ! Thanks for sharing your life with us ! God Bless your family always !
💝Tipper & Matt💝, thank you for sharing your wonderfully authentic selves on all of your videos but the Q & A vids with
such interesting & imaginative questions have been like special gifts that let us get to know you both even better & your beautiful relationship is sincerely a joy to behold!
I love watching you wait for Matt's answer, you know he's going to be funny. Thanks for posting.
😂😂 Matt!! "I'm thinking about gettin' another Farrah Fawcett poster for my wall." Tipper: "Nawww, you aint!" LOL LOL. I love you two and your great family. Thanks for all the smiles and laughs.
😀 He's so silly Thank you for watching!
My husband had that same poster lol
This video has several laugh-out-loud places! Matt's pranks from your early married life days and his comment about getting a Farah poster for yall's bedroom, in particular cracked me up! You both have such quick wit and are so easy with each other. Thank you for sharing yourselves with us!
Here in Southern Ohio the local grocery store used to carry the MAYFIELD ice cream. All of a sudden they decided they weren't carrying it anymore. The HOMEMADE vanilla flavor was one of my favorites. But chocolate is still the ol' standby. I'm really enjoying your conversation. Thank you!
Not every brand is in the grocery stores, if you go to any connivence stores, that’s where you are more likely to find the Mayfield brand! Even in Indiana, it isn’t in Kroger’s or Walmart but, it’s in some of our connivence stores!
Miss Tipper, I LOVE THE WALTONS. Little House on the Prairie would be a close second. I also loved the TV show MASH. Which, seems a strange show for a kid to be watching.
These three were my favorites too.
A funny story. My daughter saw a picture of the movie Tootsie on a tv guide around 40 years ago. My daughter pointed and said grandma. I said no that’s Tootsie and she called her grandmother Tootsie . We all called her that till she died last year. She loved it.
Such a sweet story 😀
I agree with you, Tipper. 40 would be where I'd like to hang out. As it is, I look forward to getting older because I'm getting closer to meeting my Lord. Until then, I pray I'll do whatever He allows me to do.🧡
Thank you, Matt and Tipper, for again sharing your lives with us. I already feel like I'm part of your family and now, even more so. Take care and may God continue to bless y'all. Oh, and y'all take care of each other because, after all, y'all are about to be grandma and grandpa!!!!❤
Thankfully you’re both Christians 🥰
Matt looks a lot younger now that he has shaved. I enjoy seeing all of y’all and you make my day so much better!
We love Gunsmoke and Wagon Train. Like you both we love living close to the land, and being at home on our farm. The older we get, the sweeter it gets. Although my husband does not hunt and fish, Mr. Matt reminds me of my Bob. Thank you such for sharing your lives with us thru UA-cam.
The Waltons was the best TV series ever made!!!
I have never liked pranks either, Tipper! Love the story behind your bracelet! Friends are like family! I loved so much about this video, I could keep on commenting, but I’ll just say that you both bring laughter and blessings into my life. Thank you❣️
Thank you Sally!!
Goats are destructive, good call, they'll eat everything, Lol.
Jerryodell, what a beautiful expression! "THE FRAGRANCE OF MEMORY "
Growing old is not for sissies! I don’t mind the age so much, but if I just had my 20 year old eyes back…
Don't know if anyone mentioned this yet but fried green tomato BLT's are delicious. I got one at a local restaurant and it was so good that I had to make my own. So good.
Little horse hooves😂mean wild boar 😮 and they are mean !! tusk to back it up:(
Fried Zucchini is one of the staples of side dishes in our family. We all love fried zucchini. We also love Brunswick Stew, especially in the winter!
Y'all are exactly what this crazy world needs....peaceful, and delightul to watch. ❤️
It's just like good old fashioned love story between you❤❤❤🎉
That backyard is somewhere I want to put a hammock and just look up the sky❤ simply precious ❤
I'm guessing that the question about strange things in the woods was asking if you had seen any haints....or maybe something something like the Brown Mountain Lights. I'm glad you are both saved. That means that I will get to meet you some day.
The Walton’s is a favorite of mine! When we bought our first home, I told my husband that I wanted a screen door that slammed just like the one on the Walton’s! So, the door going into the house from the garage did just that and I absolutely loved it!!❤❤❤
I enjoyed listening. Thank you for sharing your life. Its rough sometimes opening up to the public. I pray mostly positive and kindness to y'all. ❤
Holy cow I didn't realize you all were
More than 50 y/o. You neither one look it..
Loved this video. Y’all are the sweetest couple. When I started dating my husband in the fall, he had a full beard. One day he picked me up in the spring & had shaved his beard & I felt like I was with a stranger. I totally understand how Corie & Katie felt when Matt shaved his beard.
I love that your friends mean so much to you. I met my best friend in high school. Her name is Karen also. There’s always a gift under my Christmas tree that say To Karen From Karen. LOL This is our 50th year anniversary of being best friends. We are celebrating next week with a trip to Key West!
I ❤Q&A!! Love y’all! Best time of my life was when my kiddos were littles too!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and answering all the questions from viewers. You are a lovely couple .God bless you. Hugs.
here's one for next time whats on your bucket list
PRANK You tried to sell his truck.
Matt has surely loosened up in front of the camera. You both are just so funny. Now myself, I didn’t really think selling Matt’s truck was a practical joke as much as I thought you were just plain mad at the boy and were showing him he best not mess with you. 😂. Fall looks like it’s at your house. It is here and it’s been beautiful. TeresaSue.
😀 I surely was mad LOL! Thank you 😀
Dang.... I'm pretty proud that i knew some of the answers to tose question and was right when y'all answered them. Y'all just like family !!!! ❤️
Tipper, I'm with you on those pranks. I hate to be pranked.
This was wonderful, thank you! I’ve loved your hair ever since I started watching your channel! It looks so pretty and so natural! Do you get perms? Just wondering how you curl it and If so, how often? Love this video and your interaction with each other!
How nice of you 😀 I do get perms 😀
My Mother has a niece that's 3 months younger than her. They grew up more like sisters. 😊
Love that 😀
I love listening to y'all talk. I agree that I miss the community feel and the slowness of society. My grandmother was from Franklin and I love that area.
You said you liked the Walton’s, Tipper, have you ever seen Spencer’s Mountain, excellent movie.
I have 😀 It's a good one!
I must have missed the light pink blooms behind Tippers head. What are they? Love deer meat. I have fixed it many ways.
Those are wild flowers - Queen of the Meadow 😊
Lonesome Dove is my all-time favorite movie! I loved it so much, I did a report in an English class in college!🥰🥰🥰
I like the rifleman, but I'm with you,Tipper, I LOVE the Walton's ( I was watching the first Walton Christmas movie tonight. Before the series Olivia, John and Grandpa .. I did watch Dr Quinn and Little House but nothing is close to the Waltons!)
Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!!
Funny 'BALD' story. My 5 yo daughter told me the other day to 'turn the window up' in the car. She didnt want the wind blowing in her hair. A guy from church that is a good friend is bald as can be... ky daughter said he put his head out the window when he was going down the road, and it blew all his hair off. She said she dissnt want the wind blowinf her hair off too, so turn that window up..LOL Matt would have stuck his head out of the window and it blew his hair off according to my daughter!
That is so cute! Thank you 😀
Love this video. These "conversation" type videos are some of my favorites. I live in Athens, TN where Mayfield Dairy originated. It is good, but when I was a kid it was the best around. It's the only brand we would buy.
😀 So glad you enjoy them
My favourite shows growing up were Little House on the Prairie and The Waltons. In my peer group, it was Farah Fawcet and for the girls, Shaun Cassidy. Thank you for another Q&A. Just Lovely! ❤
Hey Tipper and Matt, Your Q&A is so fun! You two talking about how Matt scared you is a hoot!
My Honey and I love to watch you and it’s so funny that now we set together and watch y’all’s new shows and then we eat pop cycles like you two do, and y’all have just rubbed off on us! We love you two so much, like we have known you both always! Just anticipate waiting on the next show! Oh and I know y’all are so excited about being grandparents to a little baby boy. We are so very excited for all of you! Babies make everyone feel so much better, and little boys are so so much fun! May GOD continue to bless you both with all the happiness you can ever wish for! Can’t wait for you next one!
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
You are so kind! I'm so glad you both enjoy our videos and that we feel like friends 😀 Thank you!
That story about Miss Cindy is lovely ❤
My great grandpa was killed by wild boar while out deer hunting. They said there were between 10 and 15 of them.
Wild boars are very dangerous!
So sorry. 😢
Oh goodness that is horrible. I'm sorry.
😢R.I.P. Sir 🙏✝️🙏
Oh no, that is awful. God bless yall.
,,yeah the 70’s and zztop lol
Matt might find this funny. I have a friend who was in the woods with others. They saw some deer coming down the trail. One of the boys hid next to the path and jumped out in front of the small herd and screamed at them. The deer panicked and ran towards him rather than away from him, and trampled him. My friend said he got up moaning and bleeding. I don't know if they were hunters....my friend earned a biology degree so maybe they were a bunch of college boys.
Oh goodness!
Great video! Thank you!
My last meal would be Irish stew. 🍀
I have been reading a historical fiction series of books about the people who traveled the Oregon Trail.
Very good stories. Rough going. Earlier ones talked about a few trappers.
I love books like that 😀
I could listen to you guys every day. I love it! Y'all are funny & sweet & I love your accents & your mind-frames & outlooks match mine....in other words, if I grew up there, we'd be awful similar. Have a wonderful day! -much love from NJ ~Mary & fam
Enjoyed another Q&A chat time. I’ve had a similar encounter that Matt had with the hogs but mine was with a pack of coyotes in the dark before daylight one morning several years ago. I would have loved to lived back in an earlier time as well. I think all of us young boys growing up in the 70’s had those posters hanging on our walls. lol Thanks for sharing.
Yikes! The coyotes had to be scary too 😀
I love your videos! Please pray for my father in law he’s having surgery today
I hope it went well and I will pray for his recovery!!
Ol Matt lit up like a Christmas tree when he started talking about hunting. 😃
😊
Between 17:12 and 18:00, my heart smiled.
Unfortunately, we don't find so much of that fine respect these days...askin' and then honorin'.
These Q&A's are short-term and long-term priceless... salvageable memories with audio and video proofs, long after...
I remember Grammy Dot.
Everbody asked, who you wanna be?
Truth Is, she just wanted to be herself.
But, her response confoozed everbody.
It didn't have anything to do with her name; didn't make a lick of sense to the listeners; 'cross the board No-one quite understood, but Everybody called her Dot.
It weren't until she was sent off to her Maker that her son brought it in to full view.
He said, "She's always been
a Dot on the map called Love,
and she will continue to be".
It was then, on that dusty back road, that everbody present began to reminisce and share stories of how Dot had been there, on so many occasions, when her love and kindness had pulled them through.
And a lot of tears regarding reciprocity, or the lack thereof. It sorta became a marker in and amongst the family in difficult situations... "Can we just show each other a little Dot today?" It was healing.
Yeah, Dot, was, and will forever be, in my heart, one of a kind.
And I think that millions of people, with millions of experiences, will concur.
Real Love is unmistakable and Irreplaceable.
I like your sharin'. You two are priceless.
Thank you for the kind words-and for sharing about Grammy Dot!! I hope you've written that down for your family-and am glad you have for the world of UA-cam 😀 I really really liked it and will be studying on it for days to come 😀
Y’all should do a video using the footage from Matt’s trail camera. That would be cool to see. Love the Q&A sessions. It just makes us feel closer to y’all.
To keep squash or tomatoes you can put them in ziplock and in the freezer. My way to keep them in jars after cooking is to put a little sunflower or olive oil on top and seal the lid. My grand mother used to use bees wax. 🌻
Oh y'all! If those hogs were like those (many have to battle) in Texas, that's terrifying! So glad you had sense to get up a tree. They've killed people, including some sweet lady who was just trying to get into the home where she worked as elder-care provider. They're a menace. (Sorry I got all worked up right now, lol.) Thank you for this, I absolutely LOVE these. 🙌🏼 💓
That is so scary!! Glad you enjoyed the video 😀
It is so cool to hear more about you 2.
Thank you both. Prayers for Granny and y'all
Do you ever see or hear any signs of big foot in the woods ? Or do you even believe in such things?
😀 neither of us have ever seen bigfoot
It still is amazing to me the similarities between you two and me and my wife. I have really enjoyed this series and thanks for sharing.
You both are such a charming couple; easy to be with, hard to be without.
Your videos are so calming, informative, and fun! Your joy with each other comes through. Thank you for sharing ! 🌸
Very muck enjoy all your videos. I think it is so cute how Matt lovingly teases you.
😀 Thank you
I'd pick 40 too because I played my best golf then....The bionic woman!....I was born in 64. I think we grew up during the best time. With the world today and the future I may wish later I was born in 1940...I love to see Matt smile!
Enjoyed rhe video . Matt was so funny when he talked about pranking. Maybe he was just getting you back for trying to sell his truck once he found out it was you 😂😂
😀 he probably was Thank you Linda!
After growing my mustache and beard, I went for a haircut. I asked the barber what he thought. He looked me over pretty well and said that even a mistake on some heads is an improvement. Cheeky rascal. Like Matt I love the stories of the mountain men and trappers of the early 1800s. When I was a kid, I used to hunt squirrels near the grave of Jim Bridger. If you guys ever go to Montana to see your friends make a point to go to Pinedale, Wyoming and visit The Museum of the Mountain Man. It's near the Green River Rendezvous. Also, stop at the Little Bighorn Battle field. Love the story of your life.
I can see Matt living back in trapper days, like the awesome show, Grizzly Adams. Grizzly Matt. 🐻
I love these Q & A's ya'll do. You both are fascinating people.
God bless ❤🙏❤️
Sending continued prayers for Granny, Katie, Baby, and you all. 🙌
😀 Thank you!!
@@CelebratingAppalachia you're very welcome 😊
Thank you for sharing yourselves with us. Love y’all. Have a blessed weekend. 😊❤😊🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
