She brought an incredible soul in to this 3d...she had to be an angel ! rest in peace Philomena...we love you and thank you for posting Robert- be safe brother.
Spent some FABULOUS times in her company over the years,I drove her from Doncaster to chesterfield from a charity night..she came in to my house and had a cup of tea too.she was clever, funny, beautifull and entertaining..and she always said to me when ever we parted company..THANKYOU FOR LOVING MY BOY.💕❤RIP PHYLLIS AND PHILIP.you are in my heart always.X❤X
They really cared about each other. Phil worked with some great guitarist. Scott loved him too...he had his troubles but was a huge talent..and i never tire of returning to his music...
@Jack D The songwriting is a bit weak -- doesn't really go anywhere but still managed to capture my time and attention. It's just a vehicle for soloing over, hardly sucks by comparison to most everything being touted as popular in 2020.
Phil Lynott was a folk rock, hard rock, heavy metal, pop, funk, jazz, and punk rock star all rolled into one. Seriously one of my biggest influences in my musical life and so many others. Such a tragic end for him but he still lives on through music and always will.
I knew Phil he was a charismatic man great son and lovely human being much respect to him .Great memories of watching Lizzy live awesome! His mum philomena lovely lady met her also good memories rip you wonderful people
I love the voice of Philip's Lynott's . Philip is a genius, he was able to write and sing in a variety of musical generes . Philip is one of the best vocalists of all time ♥️🎶🎸
Tu passeras inaperçu quasiment,je suis heureux d'avoir rencontré ta voie ,ce système de daub n'était pas fait pour toi. Je t'aime phill , j'espère que je serai près de vous tous ,les vrais zicos
I so desperately miss Phil and his music. Lately especially his non Thin Lizzy stuff.Really wish he had released more solo records. This lineup easily could have made for a brilliant show. At least we have these fleeting moments to remember.
It's great song! Magical composition! Philip Lynott was, is and will one of the greatest rock singer of the world!!! Thanx so much, Phil...... R.I.P.!!! For those about to Phil I salute you!!!!!
It pains me to see my Hero in this state, damn it why couldn't Phil have gotten clean? What a massive loss to the music world. You're a cool guy Rick and a tremendous talent! John has gone more or less AWOL from the music biz it seems.
Fantastic Rick !! Phil brought so many great players along and Gary is the one I miss the most !! Can you send a note to John and tell him the time is tickin' away and there are millions out there awaiting the "Sy-Ops" release :) Thank you brother !
I remember speaking to you a few years ago about Gastank and asking why it had never come out on DVD? I finally managed to get the full series on a dodgy DVD and watch it often.
The stuff you're uploading. Especially the GasTank one. Is absolutely ... awesome. Thank you sir. Oh, and if I wan't a straight men. ;) You looked great too! You're still in great shape. No worries.
The scourge of drugs and alcohol already showing in Phils bloated appearance and lackluster performance with this ''Dear Mrs lonely heart'' arrangement.I had the privelege of seeing him circa '70's with 3 piece doing Hendrix covers ,and ''Farmer'' era with the incredible Eric Bell on guitar...my fav line up/era...
Lynott was a master songwriter. Even if like John Sykes, i don't think his guitarplaying fitted with Lynott solo or in Lizzy. Ok., Phil wanted to close Thin Lizzy's amazing album catalogue with a hard and heavy album. And the farewell album came out as one of their best albums. But in my opinion Sykes had a hard time slowing down and leave the shredding behind in old Lizzy classics. Robertson and Gorham put a very high standard to the songs with their soulful and bluesy guitars. It wasn't easy for Sykes to take over and replace Robertson, when it comes to playing more soft with heart and soul. Love Lizzy.❤️
P.S. I grew up on King Arthur and the knights of the round table and funny enough the motif Melody was the opening theme for a show called "The history of Cinema" so it's not like I'm not a fan of the music either. I know, I'll listen to Phil now.
You're bloody hilarious but you already know that. I have a question though, were you ever a communist or just taking advantage of the Cuban tourist appartheid? Just curious, I really don't care much for it anymore. Just trying to get my bearings in the world that's all.
Phil Lynott was a living poem...
John Sykes is a painter who uses a guitar to draw his dreamy music scapes.
Tellement vrai.pure merveille dont je ne lasse pas
Philomena Lynott passed away today. She was an absolute Lady .RIP. She's with Her Boy ,now. Love,Light and Peace. Never forgotten.

Why are you referring to Phil as a "lady"?
@@LeftistUprising Philomena Lynott was the Mother of Phil (Philip) Lynott
Wow, I just saw this, RIP Philomena. I once messaged her on one of these platforms...she actually got back to me, what an absolute Sweetheart.
You can never ever get enough of Lynott & Sykes.
They really cared about each other. Phil worked with some great guitarist. Scott loved him too...he had his troubles but was a huge talent..and i never tire of returning to his music...
Nothing against all prior iterations of Lizzy, but Thunder & Lightning is the one I keep coming back to.
Phil's songs are truly from the heart.
I love Phil’s songs too it’s beautiful and breathtaking 💚💛🤍🧡🤎💙💜❤
Rick Wakeman, Phil Lynott and John Sykes.
Brilliant musical talent on show here!
Glad i got to see Phil live before ge passed 👍🎸taken too young
Look how happy John Sykes is playing the solo
Philip had a unique way of rocking the world with his calm and tender voice.
still in love with you
Everything Phil did is gold
@Jack D Shed the 70's Thin Lizzy? Did you fall and hit your head son?
@Jack D The songwriting is a bit weak -- doesn't really go anywhere but still managed to capture my time and attention. It's just a vehicle for soloing over, hardly sucks by comparison to most everything being touted as popular in 2020.
Heroin is not gold, remember that my dear.
Gold? Jesus! That was so fucking forgettable

RIP PHILL. I love his tenderness. But he could rock with the best. And The mighty John Sykes looks like he’s ready to UNLEASH!! Lol good restraint.
I thought the same. Lol Great restraint John 👍
Miss you dearly Phil......up there with my Dad now x

You tube suggestions are amazing - This just popped up for me and its great to hear it , Its decades since I last listened to Phil's second solo album

Love Phil's voice.
Great memory from a great artist, phil Lynott was a great vocalist, a great bass guitar player, but above all, he was a great performer

A brilliant version, Phil a perfect advert for NOT taking drugs, what a waste.

I think Coverdale should have gave Sykes room to express himself
Coverdale asked him to get back in the band and Sykes told him he only wants him back because Whitesnake's not shit without him. Apparently a no...
BLUE MURDER was underrated Sykes &Appice were definitely on point in that lineup
@@wendywright5486 - Tony Franklin doesn’t exactly suck.

I believe it's Jerome Rimson on bass.

No, it’s Jerome Rimson.

Who is the bassist? Mark Nauseef?
Jerome Rimson. Why would a drummer suddenly be playing bass?
Lmao Mark was a drummer you idiot . That's Jerome Rinsome on bass
