This is actually true. The great Pakistani army best army actually reached Delhi on horses and hoisted the Pakistani flag on the red fort, while Indian soldiers were hiding inside bunkers praying for their lives. And then General Ayyub's alarm went off and he realized he was dreaming.
Denial? Do you also deny the beating China gave you twice in 60s? Your media has even denied the occupation of Chinese army in Ladakh last year. Your soldiers hid in their bases and your media denied it completely. But your soldiers were killing themselves in fear. 1.5 billion and your best tool seems to be denial. 😅

This is exactly why "peaceful Pakistani citizen" is an oxymoron....the amount of hate and racism ingrained in them from childhood is unparalleled. Even the most educated and wealthy section in Pakistan be it cricketer or businessmen is anti India, they might not be always vocal. The peaceniks/ Aman ki Asha campaign is to just ensure there is no defence, political or from civil society, against Pakistani aggression.
that is not true i clearly remember my parents hosting unknown people from rajistan when they came to lahore for trade we were happy the dispute is with the goverments the narratives and the stories
ordinary pakistani does not hate hindus or indians we have disagreements regarding the goverment policies of india and the events that take place
ordinary Pakistani does not breaks tv when the team loses or says that indians should be killed
ordinary people like to do business with india and you should know that recently an unprovoked cruise missile came from india yet pakistan did not react to it mindlessly and then after enquiry your military court martialed those who were responsible and also apologized to pakistani delegation over it
even by my comment i am trying to show responsible and balanced reaction

I'm a Pakistani and I regularly watch The Prints analysis on Pakistan.
First of all, Your analysis is objective and logical which is very commendable, as you did not pollute the argument with a personal bias. Secondly, anyone who has read the history of the wars objectively knows that your argument is correct for the most part (obviously there will always be if's and but's like in the case of MM Alam, whether he shot down 1 jet or 4 jets), a lot of logical Pakistanis realise this now that the aggressor was not India but Pakistan, and it does not make sense to call it "defence day" when you actually lost in the grand scheme of things,.
Your analysis has been great as always and ultimately we only improve ourselves by coming to terms with the real truth and improving from there.

Many young people here, don't buy into the official stories.
In 1965 the Indian military and economy was in shambles. It was appalling that Pakistan was able to recover a stalemate in the war at all. Pakistan had more western backing then, but they could not defeat India when the country was at its weakest. India must continue its military industrial growth and economic advancement and should never be in a position of weakness ever again...
Now china is the bigger threat
It never ever was. We were weak in the 60's because Nehru was a naive peacenik - with pretentions of a statesman. He never heard of Teddy Rosevelt's pronouncement that "Speak softly but carry a big stick". Kargil was an example of how determined and committed we are to any of PK's misadventures. That Kargil war kinda blew them away. Finally, today - we are spending 7 times what PK is spending - mainly with an eye on China. However, PK knows that - given that kind of an asymmetry - it does not stand a chance of conventionally matching IN. Which is why they are so married to Hafiz Saeed and his ilk.
Its the economy stupid

1965 War
In Battle of BRB Canal, there was a company of Pakistani Soldiers (100 men) vs Two Brigades of Indian Army (10,000 men). Out- numbered Pakistani soldiers forced Indian army to engage in hand-to-hand combat and battle continued for 5 Days after which Indian Army retreated back to Amritsar and their dreams of conquering Lahore were shattered.
Indian Army got clapped so hard that they had to pull out of Lahore and when Pakistani Army Reinforcements started pushing, Indian General ordered to retreat/leave Amritsar, even Indian General was scared.
In Sialkot Sector ( Chawinda Sector), 231 Indian Tanks outnumbered 131 Pakistani Tanks and Indian Soldiers outnumbered Pakistani soldiers to a ratio of 10:1, Indian Soldiers were 50,000 in Sialkot Tank War Battle meaning Pakistani soldiers were 5,000 as they were outnumbered to a ratio of 1:10. 181 Indian Tanks (78.3%) were destroyed as compared to 61 Tank losses of Pakistan (46.5%) while 50 remaining Indian Tanks were captured. Again Indian Army had to retreat. 500 Indian Soldiers killed, 200 Indian soldiers wounded, 100 Indian soldiers takes as POWs and the location is known as Graveyard of Indian Tanks. Witnesses said dead bodies of Indian Soldiers were lying here and there and dogs were eating them.

Very nice narration of the 1965 war. One of my close friend has retired from the army told me the same thing that the myth in Pakistan is that they won 1965 year. Let Pakistan live in their whole world
You invaded Pakistan. Your objective was to make a base in Pakistan. You took a severe beating and surrendered. What part is a myth?
@@fessali5726 In martial arts, if you apply a choke on opponents neck, he tries to free himself by poking your eyes or break your other pain/pressure points.
You invaded Kashmir, we were unable to defend, so we attacked Lahore. You might have still got Kashmir, if you left Lahore for India. You chose the other way.
India wanted not to lose Kashmir and we were successful to divert your force's.
No country and for sure not Pakistan ever will teach their kids that in 1965, Kashmir was your objective and you failed etc. Then the whole political and army management will lose standing for ever in front of citizens.
@@ansusarasunny8157 that’s about 20 year difference your talking about. British ordered you to invade Pakistan as you was fed up waiting for Pakistan to dismantle itself. Your plans failed. In regard to Kashmir and every other Muslim area they voted to be with Pakistan. As did Hyderabad in India. You sent your army in to all those places and you wanted to send your army into Pakistan too. As we know you failed so you make fairy tales up. Talking about martial arts how did you feel when China beat your soldiers to death unarmed? 😂 and then occupied Ladakh to see what your made of. Your soldiers hid in their base. 😂
@@fessali5726 Your argument is multi faceted
1. British asked and we obeyed- please see coronation of queen Elizabeth. The video is there in youtube. She assumed as queen of Pakistan as well in her Oath. India did not and we were a republic. Who joined American military bloc when India started Non alignment movement?
Today after 9/11 and in retaliation, afghan and Iraq bombed to pieces by your Abrahamic borthers, sadly, islamists hate Christian British/ French/ Americans along with Hindus and Jews. So the argument you made, that India attacked Lahore, because British ordered it, you read history, as you are trying to believe what you want to believe
2) Yes we lost to China, we lost to Babur. etc. We teach that in our school. We tried to build IIT'S during those times, for which today we have luminaries like Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella etc. On the contrary, we lost so many in 1962 because of lack of defense budget.
Ask your grandgrand parents. They might have heard of Gandhism, Satyagraha, Non violence etc. When we became free, we tried to uplift poor than preparing for endless wars.
3) Hyderabad is in heart of India, so is Gunagadh too. There is no way we would have given you pockets of territory in all four corners of our land. You got the most fertile portions of India, in both east and west
4) Pakistan is a mindset..Direct action, violence, terrorism etc. is also a mindset. We never will be able to dismantle it. There is a Pakistan in every man as well, which we should clean up through education and inculcating scientific temper
5) Lots of water has flown under the bridge. You as a nation is broken into two. That too when USA and China was with you. Bangladesh is growing fast... You will remain the same, because 'Pakistan' is a mindset.
@@fessali5726 Exhibit 1: Why Pakistan's are so up their thing that they won't accept simple truth. Everything is conspiracy and only they are victim though reality is just opposite. Let them croak in their frog wells.
In the case of Israel, they had significant setbacks in the early stages of the Yom Kippur war (1973), unlike the Six days war (1967). Which is why they had the Agranat commission to study the reasons for those setbacks. Not sure why the Hendrson Brooks-Bhagat report on India's debacle in the 1962 war continues to be classified even after 60 years!
No one is celebrating defense day, there is a widespread distrust for our army

Very informative video sir. You should do one on 1948 war as well. Probably the most complex as far as geography of land is concerned.
Thanks for writing in!
Just imagine if ever, in the movies/series they portray the defence/battle of Zozila Pass. I might be wrong with exact area but I believe it's the same place where high up in the mountains during the harsh winter in 1948 our Army managed to shock the Pakistani forces by taking 100s of tanks. Just imagine the look on the Pakistani faces 🤣🤣🤣 One of the aide to the Pakistani General came running and said: there are tanks and the General was like: Soldier are you bloody drunk? Tanks up in the mountains??? A glorious war in our history indeed. So sad and painful that now our kids and young ones haven't got a clue of 1948, 1965 and 1971 war and not very long before the memory of Kargil war of 1999 too fades into the memories of old and young ones won't have a clue. Unless of course there are movies/series or if students do Masters and PHD on History.
@@CoolnCarin5241 The problem is itself associated with movies. Our film industries make war movies like its a fiction with so many stupid add ons of romance dance tadka and fake imaginary scenes. The movie loses its essence and does not portray a real event anymore. A war movie should be a war movie only. There is so much war history that needs telling given that they are accurately told.
@@a141tho2 I mean think of Saving Private Ryan, We were once soldiers, Black Hawk Down, 13 hours, Pearl Harbour or even Midway and many more, which has detailed events if the war and the impact it had, ok maybe not every single one and not to a large extent but it drove home the point, war is bloody and sacrifices are made and it's not where you go happy gonouckky beating yw'r drum rolls. War is ugly. But, I suppose they're just adding to the typical Bollywood movie script, where they think there's a need for songs and romance. Maybe they can one day make close to documentary style but still like anogir where you can connect with the characters, like we did in Saving Private Ryan. I mean come on, we fought 4 bloody wars. I just hope one day.
@@CoolnCarin5241 yes Movies based on real events should atleast document the event it is made on, even if you want to add songs and other parallel storylines, it should be related to the event itself.
I think thats why the closest war movies we got was LOC Kargil and Lakshya, both of which could've been better but atleast got the battlefronts and heroes right.
The way bollywood is going I don't really have a lot of hope, but hopefully someone like tvf or new gen directors from Tamil or mallu cinema can fulfill this dream.
Preferably from 1948 or 1965 war.
Hi Mr. Swami. Thank you for your unbiased explanation on events of 65 war. Many Pakistanis are aware of the facts you told and at most Pakistanis celebrate this day as a day of defence against a much larger country (though as you mentioned that the war was initiated from the Pakistani side). People are getting aware of the lies and i believe that the indian side too needs to look into retrospect of what is causing agitation at its borders. As a human we are always scared like animals, once we feel our souvernity and identity is felt threatened. Pakistan is a reality which many indians have to admit. We are going through a rough patch and hope that the two neighbors could reconcile by letting go old enimosity and think for the sake of around 1.5 B population of this region. We pray and wish for a brighter future for ourselves and our children.
Also a false narrative was built by the Indian side on the aerial attack of Feb 26th and declaring Abhinandan as a war hero. This time India had shown that it was the agressor. The taliban cult is not limited to Pakistan, you are also giving into your own safron taliban. We both nations watch out for insanity around us and shun them by speaking against them. Hope that Print will also do a similar unbiased story on false pretext to subdue the sane voices in india.

@@devverma1992 many Pakistanis perceive the anti muslim agenda currently seen in India, a continuation of the rhetoric that muslims are invaders and captured hindu territory and oppressed the local hindu population. Pakistan is carved out of the Original Bharat and should be returned back. As i said it is a perception. Whereas the fact is many muslims chose islam by choice and have ancestral background and linkages to the sub continent. We are part of each other divided by religion. Hope we learn to co exist.
@@asadaero I see...
Disagree though,.. the points you raise have some truth to them but they have been exaggerated both in the fact and its result. There is no 'agenda', there is communal tension in some parts of the country, which is different and is unfortunately present. It has no relation to Pakistan or Indians' inability to digest the existence of the country. The part about returning the divided part back to Bharat and the resultant 'Akhand Bharat' is a very fringe thing, no one takes it seriously. Its for the conspiracy idiots, which thankfully are few in number, other than on social media. What Indians want is to not have to think about Pakistan at all. But I understand how it would be easy to have this perception especially if you live in Pakistan. Anyway, to each his own, we all have our misunderstandings about each other. It is what keeps the death and destruction going. Thanks for the reply. Cheers.

It was wrongly reported to the PM that only 15% of ammo was left when we had more than 80% of the stock available. Pakistan on the other hand had almost exhausted its ammo.
Truly, failures should not be wrapped as a success story. In the long term it does not benefit.
Also called the 2nd Kashmir war, fought in September1965. There was however, another segment of the was that started in April in the Rann of Kutch.
Even with the Agranat Comission which examined the mistakes made in the Yom Kippur War, political face-saving occurred!
They tried to place most of the blame on General Elazar, when he had begged General Dayan to reinforce the Golan Heights. He tried to ask for a full mobilization on Friday 5 October...he then met personally with General Dayan in the early morning of 6 October 1973...Dayan adamantly refused to order a full mobilization and still recommended to Prime Minister Meir not to allow a pre-emptive strike on the Egyptian front!
Dayan was not forced to resign and neither was the ridiculous General Gonen, who would throw telephones at his staff out of frustration and being overwhelmed! General Adan, (who actually came up with the concept of the failed Bar Lev Line , rather than General Bar Lev himself...) was not held to account for the failure of his concept of defended observation posts along the Suez Canal...)
My point in telling you all this is that sometimes these commissions which are called to examine mistakes can come to the wrong conclusions or can allow political considerations to take precedence. Thank God the Israeli electorate was able to see through the bs and hold both Dayan and Meir accountable by throwing out their Party in the 1977 election!
The Print fails to comprehend that if that War was to go on for one more week than India could have easily won . The then prime minister went against army's advice to not accept the ceasefire. Because the army was confident that India would have won!!
then isnt India the fool for signing the ceasefire?
Reform requires both truth and introspection two things military dictatorships notoriously lack.
It was the East Bengal Regiment which defended Lahore.
Pakistanis create, believe and love myths like, one Muslim is equal to ten Hindus.
Yes through logical point of view Battle of Badar was totally defeated by Muslims

Mind Bags the Question:
If an Organisation proposed Dividing Nation
Politically benefits from Division
More likely - opposes Division, operating both sides of Division?

Hi, I wish to provide feedback on a few points in this video that were not factually correct
Such as it's F86 Sabre not F66.
And Vampires were shot down over Sargodha not hunters just before sundown.
These i came out just from my memories please check if I am right
We need a bigger economy its as simple as that a economy atleast 40 50 percent of usa or china is too big to hurt or swallow and a good aim.
You think that today's IN is a pushover or a walkover - for even China? If so - think again.
Utterly misleading , Pakistan definitely had dominated , fact which was accepted n confirmed by all foreign media . Fall of Dhaka was all together a different story .

Pakistan is artificially sustained by United States and UK.
The West makes sure the Army remains in power always so they can be used for the west's interest in the region . So the army makes sure that no civilian leadership ever rises in Pakistan.Every Civilian leader in Pakistan is propped by the army .
Pakistan is in an indirect military rule since 1947 .Every Pakistani knows that it was army who toppled Imran khan govt , but they blame the shariffs nd the bhuttos..
The moment any civilian leaders starts to exercise their powers they are topple their govt in this way no pm has ever completed full term .
The army makes sure there is always political instability so that they always remain the powerful institution.
This time it is Imran Khan who did the reverse with the army
He divided the army within.
Interesting to see whether Pakistan can free itself from the army rule.

M. M. Alam was Urdu speaking ( bihari) that's why he came to (west) Pakistan. One thing which I am not sure is that Pak air force had air to air missile. You can clarify.
@Tech Gamers So that is the fact that we were told. We were told that Indian forces were five times larger. But why attack on Akhnor failed (in your opinion)
@Tech Gamers No, unfortunately, I have lost all my books (I am 66y old)..
This is reply to your enquiry about the number of Pakistani troops.
Chale the kashmir lene, lahore defend karna pad gaya plus 6 uears later Dhaka ke liye woh bhi nahi kar paye
Viewing from pakistan, great and unbiased analysis but please bust the myth of 90,000 soldiers captured in east pakistan as the total number of troops on the ground were 35,000 rest were west pak civilians btw mr pravin sawhney might disagree with this analysis but still very fair and unbiased analysis

India won a true victory in 1971.
But, for some reason all files related to 1971 were destroyed by the Indian army.

After a long time, I have come across an objective video from Print. I had unsubscribed Print because of a very biased questioning episode with Shri Himanta Bisha.. especially where his answer to the Badruddin-Sonia tie up was deliberately edited. A sham of a liberal channel.
