I went from a 2016 FiST to the CTR. The character of the FiST was pretty unique, very tossable, lots of laughs. The CTR is much more serious with a far higher performance ceiling. Both are great in their own ways.
Warranty states that it will be void if: Any vehicle used for competition (whether in sanctioned or unsanctioned competitive events), racing or record attempts or equipped with performance enhancing components.
A classic already, BTW, anyone who mentions EVs in this review comments, get a life, your cars don’t benefit the environment (I know facts suck) and are completely soulless. Thanks for the video, such an amazing car, your joy in driving, very fun to watch, keep up the awesome work!
Hmm, my Tesla would beat it, but looks great fun. About time Honda did something well. Years ago I bought a Honda V6 Accord, it was a beautiful car, but Honda seemed (to me) to go downhill afterwards. Fastest I ever went on a fossil fueled vehicle was 302kph on a Honda M/C, many many years ago. The car looks fun!
"My Tesla would beat it" lol, what an absolute c..khead, Type R is a beautiful example of why ICE engines of this class matched with such an amazing gearbox, will be remembered as classics. Ps, still waiting on Tesla to do anything well, pieces of shite which add no benefit to the environment (How much carbon output did you say for battery production🤔) well done on the video, awesome ❤
Better than any EV
If you like petrol, yes. 🙌
@@therightcarAnd if you have a brain.
Who is cross-shopping this with an EV?
God I’d love a Type R. Would go well with the Fiesta ST and Focus RS in the shed I reckon 😅
You bet it would. Hero hatchbacks ASSEMBLE!!

If only the rest of Honda's offerings were as good
Unfortunately they are not.
Civic hybrid has a pretty good combo of drivability and efficiency (and 5 seats). Great runabout.
I would have taken no LogR system and more money spent on the exhaust which is the only downside on the FL5.
Does it have a warranty for track use?

So….no track use then under warranty 😢
No. Hyundai N does though and that's 99% of what this car is
@@brewed544as long as it is not a timed event. Once you time yourself then it becomes a “competition.”
@@washout04just don’t time yourself. HPDE use is fine but once you start timing then it is a “competition.”

@@OzSaints66 Utter cr@p, but knuckleheads comment just as you did.
I would like to see your Tesla do time attack around Dandenong mountains vs my FL5 😂
@@Reptilianoverlord-jc8mt would leave your fossil fuel relic in the dust.
@@Reptilianoverlord-jc8mt what are you doing speeding in the Dandenong mountains? Take your shitty civic to the track
