Oh this is just fantastic!!!! So happy to see more musical selections from the concert at Hanley. I enjoy watching Gert play these compositions. Finlandia is so powerfully played and then Gert eases us down to the Overture. Thank you Gert, Marjolein and Gert's dad for this wonderful video today. A weekend treat!

Saw this concert live a few weeks ago. I was blown away by Gert's playing on this amazing organ. I've never heard the organ sound like this before 🤩 Incredible. This recording has taken me straight back to that day. Thank you.

What many detractors of organ music fail to realize is that the organ releases a reservoir of energy that other instrument only feebly pound out. I do acknowedge the warmth of the string instruments and the human voice.
