Great Video! Its nice to see you both collaborate and the best part.....both of your videos are different. I appreciate you and Adam just showing what you caught so we are not watching the same video twice. You guys will hook into them!
Yeah we were explorers that day... the dolphins were better then a marine world show and we got our workout in reeling up giant rockfish 300ft down. The Tuna was supposed to be the bonus :)
Always need back up plan when going fishing. We need to invest lot of time for Bluefin Tuna to catch one. You will catch them Chris. I had many skunked BFT trip too. Good luck next time.
I have family coming up for the holiday and having a freezer loaded with rockfish is a blessing!! You guys got lucky with that weather, nice and calm. I did bring up a Ling the last trip out but it was a very small keeper. My kingdom for a personal best!! Thanks for the video!
Hey Chris, did you guys ever get off the ramp yesterday. I thought about it later but try compressed air going backwards through the water outlet hole. Hope you got out.
we didnt make it out. If you were the one telling me about the bug going into the water pipe that is exactly what happened. Wish I tried better at the launch. figured it was something bigger. But yeah took the hose off at home and some bug made like a cocoon in there. So lost out on on a morning of sleep and a day of fishing but luckily thats all. Learned something as well. Good meeting you!
Yah that’s me. Those little bugs are terrible in my area. Got to check the water discharge the day before or just put a small piece of painter’s tape over the outlets and the exhaust
I topped off my tank before going out. Previous owner told me its 47 gallon tank and friend with same boat opened up the floors and tank said 42 gallons. So guessing its somewhere in the 40's. I think we traveled about 100+ miles, ended up 19 miles behind the Farallon's when we finally circled back. I brought 2x 5 gallon cans with me. Never used them. Got in on the + side of a quarter tank. Topped it back off to see how much I used and it was 33 gallons. So that's what I used, the perk of a smaller boat, a lot less gas!
How many gallons of fuel does that North River carry? I'd love to get my boat out chasing the tuna, but with a 30 gallon tank I'm afraid I'd never make it back in! Maybe I just need to carry a few extra cans of gas with me...

There out there got to keep working it. I’ve got 2 this year out of Bodega. Just didn’t have the camera with me. HMB seems to have the better bite, but it’s still early in the season.
I seen u guys out there. I was behind you on the way to the Farallon islands. I was in the center console boat
What a beautiful day on the water looks like a lake. Lol great job guys you will get them soon

It's all good! At least you were out fishing!!

i know crazy fish!
Maybe one of your sponsors could hook you up with an electric reel! Also I would get a descending device when you're fishing that deep..
Okuma is working on their electric reel. "should" be ready by next year.
Chris next time save those Boccaccio for me. I’ll take them! 😂
We'll get em next time chris!
Still was a fun trip! We will get them for sure next time!
Fun adventure out into the deep sea! Cool to see what happens out there.

good job
You make it look so easy good job on your catch ,I’m kind of scared to fish the ocean but I guess I’m going to have to try it one day
Awesome video! How many years have you been targeting tuna in NorCal?

Great effort! How many miles did you log on the day and how many gallons of gas did you go through?
I'm interested in this, too. That's a lot of miles!
I’m curious too especially since I have the same boat and motor. Did you have to take extra fuel or was the stock tank sufficient?

@@ChrisPfish2 That's a big day on the water! Thanks bro!
Great video, thank you for posting. Did you launch out of Bodega?
yeah started in bodega and ended up 19 miles behind the Farallon's.

What port did you leave from? What day?
Is the nomad a twitch bait?
Some of the fish you caught you didn't like can you explain why you don't like those fish.
Those Boccaccio are great eating….I target them
