Knowing what Rody's quirk is makes a second watch really interesting. Like when Rody tries to give the case to Humarise in the middle of the night, Pino wakes Deku up to stop him. And when Rody is heading to stop the bombs while wounded, Pino is barely conscious and can't move, showing just how much pain Rody was pushing through to keep moving. Also: the reason Fleckt Turn is blue is because his quirk reflects everything, INCLUDING light. So the light approaching him bunches up into shorter wavelengths before bouncing back.
@2:00:45 Montana brings up such a critical point here that is often ignored by Quirk Doomsayers: as more resources are available, the support for extreme conditions becomes more manageable. Quirks like Shiggy and Eri can be extremely difficult, but we've seen what proper support can do for them both. This is why MHA stresses the importance of the current generation using what we've gone through as lessons to support the next, rather than fearing who they'll become.
Not to give any spoilers but this is one of the reasons I respectfully disagree with the criticism that the manga ended without resolving the Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory. Most to all examples we're given throughout the story who supposedly represent the danger of the QSDT are characters who were in terrible environments, ones that often abused and put constant stress on them and gave them no support structure. The solution isn't to just get rid of superpowers. It's why the Remedial Course arc, the one where Bakugo and Todoroki are having to win the hearts of a bunch of bratty elementary school children with powerful Quirks, also brought up the Quirk Singularity Doomsday theory. The best way to help those kids wasn't to beat them down into submission or have greater strength than them, it was just to be people that the kids felt safe relying on and that they could feel a connection with. If and when the kids have greater power than those who came before them they would still be supported by those who came before them. Heck, the superpowers are probably the only reason these bad situation even get noticed sometimes. The problem most of the LOV members have with hero society is how easily it ignores the problems that effect them simply because they don't effect most other people. Shigaraki and his message of destruction is such an appealing figure for them because it's essentially "Try to ignore us NOW!".
Ah, I thought so. It started autoplaying for me while going through their MHA playlist but paused and went to bed. Couldn't find it again till just now.
While watching this I thought of an interesting quirk power: A quirk that makes you invincible to other people's quirks i.e. Say someone with fire powers tires to burn you, you can't get burnt because the flames were created with someone's quirk, however if you built a campfire and get burnt by those flames, you would get injured
23:03 Our Favorite nerd just got outfacted by a random guy on the street who outmatched the speed and agility given by one of the strongest quirks in the world, I didn't expect my boy deku of all people to get hit by facts
19:44 Name - Rody Seoul Quirk - HARDCORE PARKOUR, you can guess the rest with the amazing visuals Imagine this in the narrator's voice, the guy that introduces quirks
30:35 Pretty sure that was JJ JAMESON doing the news report, guess Deku really is the anime version of Spider-man. Man's a vigilante now and the news reminded me of Far From Home's post credit scene where Peter literally has the same allegations against him of killing Mysterio. And the picture just screams Spider-Man. + HE IS INDEED BOTH "FAR FROM HOME" AND HAS "NO WAY HOME" NOW.
29:08 FLASHBACK - The Infamous Heart-Wrenching Scene of Gwen Stacy's death in TASM 2. Does this mean we can actually ship Deku and Rody here? Nah I am not that kind of dude ; they are just friends and besides, what's Melissa shield for anyway 29:13 : NVM, Gwen will be proud of you deku, I think Andrew Garfield's peter took notes from this scene for No Way Home. Yeah I don't care if I spoiled No way home for you, it was all over the internet and you could only miss it if you were living under a rock at the time

I'm less than 20 minutes into this 2 hour video and I can't focus on literally anything else because I'm too focused on the fact that Kenny looks like Clifford Chapin and I'm now just realizing it- And for those who might be unfamiliar with him. Clifford Chapin is the english voice actor for Bakugou.
25:03 More like joining a cult that has a leader who needs therapy because he didn't get hugs from his mom EDIT - I was right at the end! HE REALLY DID NEED THERAPY, AND HE DID LOSE OUT ON THOSE HUGS.
Also, the movie Is a missed opportunity at times. Humarize has a weapon that doesn't affect quirkless folks. Could have had a villain who either found ways to beat the quirk population in power, or was a hypocrite working on something worse. At least the villain is memorable
Okay, i take issue with Flect turns quirk on a logistical level. If it reflects everything, even something as gentle as his own mothers touch, wouldn't it reflect any food or water he tried to take in? Why arent his clothes reflected off of his body?
Alright time to cover the 3rd and currently last movie of MHA. (4th is on the way as I write this.) Of the movies I think this one lands between the 1st and 2nd with the 1st getting a bit of an edge on the other two. But I hold them all in VERY similar regard. All very solid across the board. Alright so we’ve found a cult by the name of Humarise run by Flect Turn. Whole heartedly believing in the studies of AFO’s Doctor, and preparing to wipe quirks out of their world. Using the quirk boosting drug known as trigger, they have devices that contaminate the city and force quirks into overdrive until the person is simply unable to handle it. And essentially wiping out a whole city as an example. If only they knew what that research was being used for on the other side with Shigaraki likely undergoing his surgery with the doctor at this juncture. And now there’s a global threat on the way. We get introduced to the WHA, as in “WHAAAA?! Throw as many heroes as we can at it as possible all around the globe!” (I personally would’ve preferred Wah, and looked for excuses to quote Wario and Waluigi) Or this world’s equivalent of Interpol. Take your pick. The kids leading up to the massive PLF confrontation were put on a bomb disposal case. (And Bakugo, Todoroki, and Deku all have AMAZING designs I wish were used more in this movie.) Obviously it’s headed by the Japan heroes mainly because All-Might has them special privileges being the global top hero. (Though I admit I was wanting for other global top heroes to appear as well.) We also have the movie exclusive emotional core! Rody is AWESOME. And I think he’s great with no caveats honestly. A little snotty thief who gives up on doing the right thing even when he always has the reason to do better for his siblings. And is just a delight to watch him prance around the city trying to outrun Deku. (And since this is likely after the incident with Ending, Deku must be 20% max still and like his conflicts with Gentle Criminal just is at the point where holding back is mandatory instead of always being max control. Even 1% Deku at this juncture is moving 45 mph out of his Mach 1.2 max 20%) So I’ll just say this between fighting the archery villain, chasing Rody, and fleeing the police, Deku has INSANE control of that 1-20% range and has to be switching every % CONSTANTLY. And they might say that’s Otheon based on Lisbon in Portugal, but MAN is that an American police response used against Deku. And it quickly lands Deku on the most wanted list. I love that Endeavor literally WATCHING Shoto conspire with Deku about avoiding the police and just lets it happen because everything spirals THAT fast. XD and right after giving a lecture on following WHA protocol too. And a roadtrip across the continent as Deku and Rody argue over ethics the whole way is nothing short of amazing as everyone in the work studies try to put together what’s going on. Just I love the police pressing the heroes, the heroes IMMEDIATELY not trusting the police and letting Deku flee, and Deku just proving his resolve and willpower over and over again to Rody as they go over each other’s pasts and not even judge between the two of them. (And Rody isn’t conflicted about Deku’s hero name because he doesn’t know it’s a double meaning of affection and bullying! Which I’m always happy to see those details.) Fast and slow character moments alike balanced pretty well and it’s just good to have that when the movie outside this roadtrip is just NONSTOP. Understandably but also an exhausting pace. From mountaintop fights to the fast reveal of Humarise true goal as we FINALLY see a little more of the work studies in action as the kids try their best to turn deactivate their whole plot. Leaving the most powerful heroes in the world (except a select few but I’m just choosing to assume they are somewhere helping out.) completely at the mercy of what goes down at the ONLY base not near any of the explosives. It leaves but 3 available heroes to take care of it all. And every hero we’ve known across the show knows that Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki are heading straight for the front lines of this conflict. There are few people in the world MORE willing to get involved in complete catastrophe. And even Rody knows he can’t stay behind either. Bakugo has these Serpenters twins, Todoroki gets ANOTHER chimera or Leviathan in this case, and Deku is left with the big boss Flect Turn. No pros, no backup, just forward. Trigger, beast like actions and just sheer chaos for Bakugo and Todoroki, and I have next to no notes on almost EVERY fight in this movie other than they are all BEAUTIFUL and fantastic to watch. No real notes on them because the main henchmen are 1 note just sheer chaos. And it does get me to feel the same way about Flect Turn as I do Overhaul. You can have THE most grandiose and well meaning motivation, but your actions speak WAY louder than words. These top henchmen, and quirked members of Humarise that aren’t hanging out by the city targets give away your intentions a LOT more than your sob story about getting rejected your whole life. Overhaul thinks quirks are diseases too, but literally went out of his way to make a serum to cure the rewind deleter rounds. Proving just the opposite. If Flect Turn truly believed in what he preached, and found his escape with these devices, he should be standing near the biggest one of them all. If not for his own escape but to use his reflect to boost the range of it to ridiculous margins. But he doesn’t. He CHOOSES to protect himself and stands on “sacred” ground. As if he needs to remind people he’s untouchable. Which aligns with his quirk and mentality with it PERFECTLY. And it leads to the main event. Flect Turn vs Deku. So common assumption. IS Deku faster than lasers? No. He’s faster than the aiming systems or the person using the lasers’ trigger finger. As much as I’ve hyped up All-Might’s max speeds being over Deku’s the entire show, I’ve at MOST measured 0.002% the speed of light for All-Might. (Mach 1800) Which is why when Deku DOES get hit the results are what you’d assume. This is the ultimate unstoppable force vs immovable object test. Deku shoves his willpower to the absolute limit and even gets to the point of recreating infinite 100% and just sets the entire vicinity ablaze to defeat Flect Turn. (Mayyyybe deflating exactly how much damage he did to his arms there as the only real nitpick but hey it was awesome nonetheless.) And Deku manages to instill optimism and a stronger sense of selflessness and hope for the future for Rody he was always so quick to give up on any hope of seeing. And absolute 1000/10 animation as Iida and the other stay home kids greeted them back. With Uraraka and Deku getting a 6 arm chop lecture in the credits. Those credits shots and moments are OUTSTANDING. Overall VERY solid movie, with myself still preferring the 1st but still loving almost everything this movie had to offer. I wish I had more to say, but I think this movie is the exact right amount of appreciated. Next time, season 6 starts! And…that’s going to go up EVERY WALL.

Exactly. It's creative writing.
Another detail I like is Pino pecking Roro and Lala on the cheek before Rody leaves their home.
Deku fights a villain who is reflecting attacks back. The solution: hit harder.

Time for me to watch it a third time lol
I didn’t even get to watch it before it got taken down. I was so disappointed, I’m glad they managed to reupload it.
It's nice to see the cast have some fun before everything turns real dark real fast.
9:31 i just relized the blond ladys name is clair and her quirk is Voyance as in clairvoyance
that opening terror ism attack is a wonderful way to show, not tell about how terrifying quirks would be when they go out of control.
Everybody is tough till You Say Run starts playing
While watching this I thought of an interesting quirk power:
A quirk that makes you invincible to other people's quirks

Its always good to hear Robbie Daymond's voice (he plays Flect the blue character). He's also Tuxedo Mask 😊❤

Huh. I would've thought the song at 54:11 is what got the first upload taken down. But they didn't change the audio or anything, so I guess not.
