I’ve just had my 2018 SQ5 upgraded with your Stage 1 tune at TC Garage in Copthorne. It’s an absolute transformation. If anyone is considering having it done, don’t hesitate it’ll be the Best present your car has ever had👍👍 Thanks to All at REVO & TC Garage.
I really like the worldwide R&D that you put into your products, it was a part of my decision ro go with your remap. Now that I finally have a cat back exhaust, I can enjoy it properly (I know, I should of done that before my remap) and it sounds good on decel.
Do you need to replace the OEM cat in order to run your stage 2? There seems to be a difference of opinion about this among the B9 tuners with some saying that the stock cat is capable of handling stage 2 tunes and others insisting on customers replacing the stock with a catless or high flow catted downpipe before they can go to stage 2. It would be helpful to hear your perspective!
@@RevoHQ Why? The stock cat isn't restrictive. EPL ran a stage 2 tune for years only requiring an intercooler and intake and there have been no reported issues. Can you explain your thinking?
@@RageCage1701 If you know the stock cat isn't restrictive, why ask the question? Throughout calibrating, the stock cat was a flow restriction at the boost pressure and power levels we were running. So to answer your question, yes, the stock cat is restrictive at Stage 2 and you do need to install a sports cat with Revo Stage 2.
@@commantrosexetlos4700 We're not talking about driving to the shops. This car has been through more testing than you would ever imagine. Not to mention the hundreds of files we've already sold worldwide; pushing our software to the limits. So yes, to answer your question again, reliability is no question.
@@dramion223 We wouldn't compare two companies' products in a video. We're here to showcase our work and products. I'm sure there will be some end-user reviews at some point comparing software and/or hardware😊
Will there need to be additional mapping done to take full advantage of a high flow sports cat downpipe and exhaust such as the parts offered by Milltek?
Our Stage 2 software has been designed to work with a high-flow sports cat and full exhaust system. In fact, that's the exact setup we run on our own development car.
@@cas84utd No, our quoted figures include the downpipe and a full Milltek exhaust system. 99% of Stage 2 packages require a higher flowing cat. In all fairness, a full system is not necessary but a downpipe certainly is.
For a B9 platform car running a high flow cat, I’d say that power figure is higher than I’d expect, and the torque figure is significantly lower. I’d be interested to see what cars running this tune actually make out in the wild.
I’m based in bath uk I’ve been trying to get your performance pack fitted most places are useless with over the phone customer service or don’t pick up the phone so far but I’m trying to purchase and have installed the revo performance pack for my s5 b9 2017 the pack is priced at £1299 on your website please can you help me revo
Lads i spoke to revo at pfficially gassed th3 e dropped the b9 from development. Im well known in the b9 community give me a shout of you need a hand all the mods you can genuinky fit yourself or if your down south you can have them fitted locally by one of the community fitters@andrewnoble1490
There is THIS video which states the exact same mods but boasts 500BHP and 700ftlb (or maybe Nm) of torque ua-cam.com/video/XD8gq2iHLR4/v-deo.html Also when did Patrick Bateman become a car enthusiast?
They do this for views they round it up , revo on the other hand being he actually tuner won't do this it's the same way guys are claiming 600 hp but there less I on the other hand am one of the only individuals running a true 600 hp pack with 99 only

Good question, Stage 2 100% requires a sports cat on this platform👍

Great work ! 👏 any draggy times on the tune ? 0-60, 1/4 ?
We've set a date to do some💪
Update on this?
eibach pro kit or sportline kit?
Reliability.. All of them 6s are gaining huge power... How's engi e or gearbox?

No, we haven't.
Will there be a chance of that comparison happening?

Do they need tcu tune after this ?
Not necessarily however we do offer one! See here www.onlyrevo.com/product-details/software/audi/s4/300/al552-tcu-stage-1
Have you done anything to prevent CAT failure ?
Yes, replaced it with a higher flowing sports cat 😊

The B9 engine can make 485hp and 600lbft if you tune to take E85 fuel stage 1, no hardware required.
If you're lucky enough to have e85 then that's great!
