My dress was a one and done. It was the complete opposite of what I thought I wanted. I saw it on the hanger and had to try it on. Did not even try on other dresses. It still makes me smile thinking about it, and it's been 20 years. Got it at a consignment shop, in budget, in a plus size. I didn't realize then how lucky I was, but I sure do now!
She looked absolutely stunning in the gown that she chose. Bonus that it was under budget. I do wonder why they didn't have her try on a couple more just to be sure.
I think they probably did, but the UA-cam versions have a lot cut out of them to make them shorter. The full episodes usually show more dresses than we see here. I was watching an episode with Gok in which he referred to the bride's having tried on a total of four dresses and the UA-cam version only showed her trying on two dresses.
The least expensive dresses shows you don't need to spend a lot on a wedding dress. One of my friends bought her's for $700 and it's an absolutely gorgeous dress.
once they knew she liked other styles, i wish they put her in more different ones. the feeling of liking that one different dress was probably quite overwhelming, so i wonder if there was others that she could have liked more if given the opportunity.
Once she discovered that she likes the A line style, wasn’t there any other A line that she could have tried? Something with a little bling? I don’t think that she had anything to chose from. I’m glad that she’s happy with it. She’s a beautiful bride. 💕
She is beautiful and any dress would look lovely on her. I agree, though, she should have been shown a few more options. At the very least, she should have looked at the third dress brought into the dressing room with the first two. The consultant (I forget her name) brought the Boho and the A-line picked out with the bride and then there was a third one in her arms (consultant's choice) which was never shown. I don't know what exactly defines the Boho style, but couldn't there be an A-line, Boho dress? The price of this dress was great, but given her budget (and how they hardly ever respect the upper limit! Why start now?!) I think they could have done better.
I went to a close out wedding dress event knowing what style I wanted. Tried one dress, knew it was the one. Why try on more? I still think it is the most beautiful dress ever 50 years later.
That dress is simple but elegant and looks expensive and well tailored. I think all the bling on most of these dresses are done to hide imperfections. Less is more..
Often the most beautiful dresses are the simplest and best tailored ones. Clean lines, no bedazzling. This was a lovely dress, it really showed off her small waist and natural beauty. The jeweled hair piece detracted from the look though.

That's because beading and sparkles are what usually cost a lot and extreme glitz is gaudy and tacky.
