Hello Guys! That was an interesting Video! You asked about the Marks on the Body that some Hindus wear.
They are called Tilak and they come in different Shapes.
Tilak can symbolize many different Things, just to mention a few: the three horizontal Lines can symbolize the three Syllables of the well known Mantra OM.
Actually OM in Sanskrit is spelled as A-U-M.
A common Meditation Practice is to map the so called three Aspects of Experience to these.
The Waking World and our Experience as a Waker is mapped to the A.
The Dream World and our Experience as Dreamer is mapped to the U.
The State of Deep Sleep, where there is still Experience going on but no World and Object, even no Mind , only Blankness. it is an Experience of Absence.
This State is mapped to M.
Now of what Use is all that? In the Mandukya Upanishad it is explained that there is a Fourth Reality, called Turiyam (literally the 4th) which is what we really are,
we are not the Waker, not the Dreamer, not the Deep Sleeper, but that Turiyam which is the only Reality in which the other 3 are appearing and are illuminated.
Then one of your Questions was how is it that you'll be freed from the Cycle of Rebirths? Now i am writing from the Standpoint i am most familiar with, from Advaita Vedanta.
Here comes the Connection to i what i just wrote! In Hinduism the Way to free you is not going to a Place like Heaven that is coming after some Time, after Death.
Rather it is a Journey from Ignorance to Knowledge. What Knowledge? Self-Knowledge right now and here.
It is an inner Transformation, Awakening, not an outer Journey in Time and Space.
You already found out that the Idea is Heaven and Hell are temporary, it is an eternal Merry go Round in this Understanding.
So the Goal is not a Heaven, but Self Knowledge about what your true Self is.
I could go on explaining, but i think so far this is enough.
      Best Regards

There are hundreds of traditions in Hinduism and each tradition has their own unique style of applying Tilak. Tilak is considered as a sign to show the persons faith. 1. Tilak signifies metaphysical values such as worshippers of Lord Shiva use white ash - to signify the temporary nature of the world; worshippers of Lord Vishnu use sandalwood paste - to signify their devotion to God; worshippers of Goddess Shakti use a mixture of turmeric and lime - to signify the presence of divine energy; and Yogis use Tilaks - to signify the importance of intuition and transformative nature of the third eye.
Tilak marks the body as a temple in itself and marks the presence of Divinity in everything and everyone.
      2. Some aspects of every religion have scientific roots. However, strictly speaking, every religion (as long as it requires belief in God) is contradictory to science (as long it requires objective verification of the subject to prove something).

    1. Hoor and apsara(vidyadhari)
Are very different don't know about you hoors but what i have heard you get to sleep with them. Even if my statement is incorrect, i still think the concepts is very defferent. In hinduism a body dies but soul doesn't that soul reach the heavens and the apsara guide you and serves you food which some people to be getting fed by mom. Beacuse in hinduism we considered goddesses our mother and also cow and india and earth due to culture. So, you didn't even look at them with that perspective they are there to seeve gods do other important things like guiding the deceased and other things.
And also in heavens there are many gods like fire, water, wind and also the king of the heaven indra. But none of them ae worshipped because it is said that they are only doing there responsibilities.
    2. The thing you were saying that when a husband die before wife . The wife get burned with the husband, its called sati pratha or johar.
You know how this custom was made when islamic invaders used yo invade india or kindom in it. After the king is defeated or the kingdom is defeated women used to jump into the fire burning herself alive because if they get captured by invaders they will rape , torture and make them sex slaves. And they can't even die by normal means because they were used to even raping dead bodies of woman. So, to protect their honour they choose to burn themselves alive destroying there body .

Look at the Abrahamic faiths only their God in the black box or the one nailed to the cross is the highest most powerful all creator God

As source which is the collective universe consciousness descends deeper and deeper into the physicality it becomes lower and lower in frequency and materializes in the 3 dimensional world .
It starts to fragment this we now see as separate entities: God and shaytan

In the dawn of civilization when humans survived on hunting alone, they had to move around to gather resources and couldn't settle down. When people discovered agriculture, they started settling around river basins as the soil there is rich in nutrients and availability of water helps in irrigation. This is why all the rivers are considered sacred and are viewed as manifestation of Goddesses. However, due to problems due to bad weather, crop yield was not reliable and this is where rearing milch animals came to help. Milk could be turned into a lot of food products that could provide some supplementary sustenance and bulls/ox could help with laborious work in the farms. This is why Cows are considered sacred. Earlier the Ashramas would host a herd of cows to help the settlements, later on every big household would have domesticated cows. Cows are very clever and emotionally attached creatures and were treated as part of the family, much like pet owners with their dogs and cats of today. Also, Hinduism values non-violence, so consuming meat of any kind isn't supposed to be a normal thing.
The concept of eternal heaven and hell would be a skewed scheme in Hinduism. As per Karma, one can only have finite results for the finite amount of actions they perform. So heaven and hell are seen as temporary realms. Upon death, one spends some time in the hell for their bad karma and some time in heaven for their good karma before being reincarnated. Since, memories(for the most part) exist inside our physical brains, one doesn't have any recollections of their past life.
No matter how much good karma one accumulates in their lifetime, they can't escape the cycle of death and rebirth. The only way out is Moksha - dissolution into Brahman. It's a state where the illusion of the individual's ego is completely destroyed. Like a drop of water merging with the sea, the drop has no sense of individuality left. Also, one doesn't have to die to reach Moksha. Such individuals live in a blissful state without any suffering, even if they feel physical pain and pleasure.

Because of invasions from foreign rulers, several Hindu temples were destroyed and looted repeatedly. This distrust is the reason why most Hindu temples do not allow people from other religions to enter inside the temple premises. I don't know if they follow similar rules in Hindu temples outside India, but be prepared not to feel dejected if you are denied entry.
The video creates some confusion for someone aware of only one of these religions. For the record, Rakshasas are a race of usually malevolent beings who sometimes reside on Earth and are said to possess supernatural powers and they may eat humans too. Bhoot is basically a figment of the life energies left on Earth by the deceased one's body. If someone has an untimely death, they may have to live as ghosts for a while, until their energies run out. Ravan was a well-known half-Rakshasa and is a character in the Itihasa called Ramayan. The Devas are the heavenly beings and some are aspects of natural forces such as wind, rain, fire, water while others are personification of planetary objects such as the sun, moon, etc. Each is given their own duties by God.
    There's more -
    1. Emperor Ashoka is one of the well-known rulers of India with a vast territory but he was a Buddhist.
    2. Bajirao Peshwa was a great leader in the modern history of India, but maybe Shivaji Maharaj would have been a better example.
    3. Banana tree, mango leaves and coconut fruit are seen as auspicious in Hinduism. Mango fruit can be used as an offering though. Also, the holy basil, Neem, Banyan and Peepal trees have their own place.
    4. Hinduism isn't polytheistic but pluralistic, i.e., it recognizes different paths to the same destination. So, it allows for atheism, monotheism, polytheism, pantheism, panentheism, etc.
    5. Garuda is the divine eagle-like sun bird, called the king of birds and the Vahana(mount) of Lord Vishnu. Garuda is the personification for courage, is extremely powerful(enough to defeat the Devas) and has an entire Purana named after him.
Let's talk about the similar parallels with science in India -
    1. Study of the Earth(Geography) is called Bhugol in Sanskrit. Bhu(or Bhumi) means Earth and Gol(Gola) means a sphere.
    2. Aryabhatta is known to have calculated planetary motion along with predictions for future eclipses.
    3. The decimal notation is also known to have been developed in India and the Arabic numerals share their origin from India, called the Hindu-Arabic numeral system as known to the west.
    4. In Hinduism, the human body is said to be composed of 5 elements - Earth(nutrients), Water(fluids), Air(gases), Fire(chemical energy) and Ether(void).
    5. The origin of everything from nothing is mentioned in the Vedas, akin to the Big Bang theory. But, Hinduism has the concept of a multiverse, i.e., innumerable universes each with their own laws of physics.
    6. Many algebraic results in Indian texts are dated back to 6th century BC along with the works of the Chinese and Egyptian civilization.
    7. The concept of Chandraloka(Moon) rotating around Bhuloka(Earth) rotating around Swarloka(Sun) rotating around Janaloka(Supermassive blackhole) rotating around Bramaloka(abode of Lord Brahma - hypothetical centre of the universe) is also mentioned in the scriptures.

this video is not accurate for Islam as you pointed out in between the video, it's the same with Hinduism.
1.3000 BC is the time period when they started writing down. before that, everything was an oral culture.
2.MANDIR- they even have mental health benefits.
3.DIWALI- we have many festivals, and each festival has its own major importance in a particular part of a country. So just picking one out of many to compare. is not fair enough.
4.SVARGA(HEAVEN)- Yes, it's temporary. once, karma decides how long the individual stays there. and after that reborn. MOKSHA- is something where an individual becomes ONE with the ultimate energy(BHRAMAN).
5.VIDYADHARI=APSARA?- No, they are not the same In Sanskrit, "vidyā" means knowledge, learning, or science, and "adhara" means support or bearer. Therefore, "vidyadhara" can be translated as "one who holds knowledge" or "bearer of knowledge." On the other hand APSARAS- is often depicted as a beautiful and graceful dancer. Apsaras are often sent by the gods to distract or test the devotion of sages and ascetics who are deep in meditation. this is what they meant when they said they interact with humans.
6.GARUDA- Garudu is the vehicle of Vishnu, garuda is divinely important. And BURAQ is the vehicle of Prophit, The comparison between these two is not fair because both the energies that travel have different importance in their religion. and all the Gods have their travel companion.
7.Muhammad ibn Musa Al-Khwarizmi (FATHER OF ALGEBRA). Yes, he is the father of algebra, but you can't deny the fact that he used some of the principles and techniques found in Vedic mathematics. Persian and Sindhu cultural trades go back more than 2000 years.
8.BEEF- there is no way to be told that Hindus should not eat beef. It is more like an intellectual thing because Hindus worship cows and respect them as their mother. so they prefer not to harm.
9.*** SATI- wife sacrifices herself in the cremation of her husband. this practice was started around 400 CE. This was an individual and personal choice of a wife as a token of love. but later on, it developed into regular practice in the Sultanate and Mughal eras, to prevent the women of the house from turning into sex slaves and taken to harems.

Where does the ganges come from and how long it is . Do you think ganges is only one area where it is polluted. The optics by often western media depict lot of negative image of India. Anyways this vedio shows parallels between islam and Hinduism I never doubted that , it's the twist in the comparison is what need to be looked at in detail . The sacrifices themselves in the fire during islamic rule for there honor , and lingered around as practice. The british twisted that and made it look bad. And I know that Hinduism is not three thousand BC years old ,it is way way older ,hindu scriptures reflect how old it is , the NASA scientists have calculated the time to six thousand years yet (through astronomi and calculation noted in the hindu scriptures) . Hindu temple archeological sights have been unearthed in Saudi Arabia not too far from mecca , another one in Egypt very recently , in Russia , China . Links of the Ramayana scripture (of Hanuman ) to the Mayan or Inca civilizations in South America ... these are popping up. The Bridge between Sri Lanka and India is being studied for awhile as funding is made . The lost City of Dwaraka has been already discovered off the Gujarat coast in the Arabian sea, well for now work is in progress . Hindus always lived like brothers with muslims untill India -Pak happened as rightly pointed out by you .Our Faith has a history of accepting all religions in our land . You may look up that in the context of when islam came to India ,when the Jews came to India . And so much more to know if you really want to know , I like your reactions but you only scratch the surface from these data collected superficial vedios made from western prism . Respectfully, Science in the Vedas predates the Quran. You can't just sit there and boast about knowing that the Earth is and "egg" shaped, which actually it's not, compared to the vedas literally mentioning the Earth is Bhugol (Sperical> which it actually is), the sun is stationary but the Bhugol's rotation is what makes it appear to set and rise. Not to mention the precise distance between the Sun and Earth mentioned in Hanuman Chalisa, The calculations of the age of the Earth, the mentioning of Multiverse in Mahabharata and other scientific mentiones that are relevant even today. Scientist study Hindu scriptures to understand current science and technology, and there's a reason for that.

@@MuslimMindsUS let me clear the points. When Vedas are introduced you guys assumed that because it is written it must be man made. While quaran was also written, it's not a book written by God and sent back to earth. Only verses came and later written, same as Vedas. Vedas were there when people even didn't know to write, or used to write on leaves, cloth and used to keep making them due to constant corrosion of those materials. But you guys already a prefudice to think only Islam and none.
Next, in this video , hurr and apsara are different. Hurr are specifically given to Men in jannat to consummate/ have fun. While apsara are different. They are not made to have sex or anything. They are like angels with certain powsers. They are well versed with music, dancing and only served gods and those who go to heaven, but not as hurr .
Next, in Vedas the origin of universe comes with numbers and logic why they are there. And those are in Vedas, which is created from God himself. But in quaran or abrahamic religion it's not that old, which is totally wrong from science. But you can't question that for sure.
I've seen you guys constantly say, Hinduism books and claims are there but questionable in some cases, because they are so old. Then how can you believe any religion, Islam book was written after 200 years, nowadays scholars can't even come to conclusions if Muhammad was a real person or not. So many verses are lost, misinterpreted. There are multiple versions of quaran in Arabic - African countries. But no question of on that.
Hinduism is thebonly religion where you can question, and through discussion we prosper our knowledge. But in Islam, you can't ask, you can't argue against quaran, you cannonly follow. It's totally opposite

Because the Quran has carbon dated manuscripts from the first century of Islam, hundreds of thousands of chains of memorization and teachers that can be traced back to the prophet. A known obsession from memorizing the text and the vast majority of secular historians state the Quran we have today is the same one the prophet of Islam brought.
Nothing like this exists for the oldest texts of Hinduism, they cannot be traced to the foundation at all, we don’t even know exactly when Hinduism began. We have later writings that cannot be substantiated to the origin.

    • @johnbutler7023

@@MuslimMindsUS the Vedas are not all decoded or uncovered. But rhe ones covered are carbon dated as 1100-1700 BC, which is actually when Vedas were changing from sruti( listened and remember) form to written form to spread throughout other part of India ( and maybe writting was available). But that doesn't mean it was created at that time, because you can carbon date the paper, or material, you can't carbon date the knowledge.
In Hinduism we measured time as cosmological way, When lord Ram was born, they noted the places the stars. Which you can count even now. You don't need particular calendar for that which is far before than that ( probably 5000-100,00 BC ). And they is purana ( which came after Vedas ).
About authenticity, Vedas are written in ancient Sanskrit which is almost lost in current time. And used to passed on by Rishi ( head scholars of that time ). The only way to prove/ authenticate them now is to use them in actual use. Because unlike Islam/Arabic world India has faced huge demographic changes, it's like asking someone " what your grandfather ate on his 21st birthday". Many things are still uncovering, we'll know many things. But what we have known is still far way advanced for that time and even for now.
When muslims attacked India first thing they do is destroy the culture. One doctor saved one Muslim king's life, so i. Return he burnt the whole University of that doctor . There were so many books that it took months to burn ( nalanda University burnt by khilji ). People were forcefully converted, every scripture were burnt, changed, and then lost. Then was British, they did same as per name of Christianity.
Then after thousand years you come and ask for proof. And we need proof in modern terms.

Knowledge in Hinduism is like ornaments that in our culture female uses as a beauty stuff .therefore , the one who holds knowledge is referred as feminine. These terms are not literary . Just a humble fact-check: Virgins or Hoors of Jannah cannot be compared to vidyadharis. Their functions are not the same. Neither are their interactions. A guy is promised 72 virgins after his death whom he can make love with if he is a good muslim but in Hinduism there is no such promises with "Vidyadharis". The problem is you're learning about it from a video made by a non-hindu. Another thing to note here is this: Islam promises a lot of things and paints a lot of good pictures of a utopian state a perfect world like the communists did but hinduism (even though its not a concrete law-bound, enforcing, apostate-hating) does not promise anything but the help to pursue the truth.
Your earlier point regarding many options leading to confusion: Hinduism is not about believing and even though that is what people are doing, the philosophy in it is meant only to raise someone to a higher spiritual level. You are not forced to do anything, unlike Islam where you have to necessarily even be called a muslim. Islam and Hinduims should not be compared at all. It would be a grave injustice to compare an open, evolving philosophy to a concrete abrahamic faith.
One does not even have to believe in anything in order to be a hindu. No sir. I personally don't believe in any gods but I still am a Hindu.

The reason why Hinduism is not regarded as a prophetic religion revolves around what it means to be a prophet - those who are messengers/intermediaries between God or The Supreme Being and spread the word of God. You are not apart from the ultimate/eternal reality. You are in oneness with the infinite. "Hinduism"/Sanatana Dharma (eternal service/duty) is not a religion but a practice/way of life in the sense that there is not one particular set of path for everyone to follow. The Vedas are apaurusheya meaning it is unauthored and have no singular/human author, and more so because it is sruti which translates to "that which is heard". The text is not religious in nature, but can be considered more spiritually and is essentially about experiences/way of life.

Well, the conflict is more political than spiritual. Islamic invasion of india wasn’t a pleasant experience for Hindus. Forced conversions, the looting, the rapes, slaves, destruction of temples. Violence is common in invasions. But it was a first for india as the kings had a religious angle to it. Non believers were second grade ppl and derogatorily called kafirs due to the monotheistic nature.
In modern times, the division of the Indian subcontinent coz muslims wanted a separate state and the Islamic terrorism which has claimed multiple lives. Again, non Islamic terrorist activities occur too, naxalism for example. But it’s not religious in nature.
Therefore, for a common hindu islam synonymously became equivalent to violence and hate coz the terrorists who use Islam literally say they are doing it all coz allah has asked them to do. Muslims say they are twisting the facts and missing it, but for a normal person who lives from day to day, it’s kinda difficult to understand.
But the sad part is, most don’t actually read or try to understand abt islam. And when they do..they do it with a prejudice, to find the negative aspects of it. The same thing happens with Hinduism in regards to caste system.
Spiritually all religions more or less say the same. There’s even a verse in Rigveda that says there is one truth, but different ppl have different ways of seeking it.
I hope peace prevails and both sets of ppl read and try to understand each others religions better. ❤️❤️
