So regarding the Trinity, one helpful comparison might be split personalities. This is a clear case in which one person or being has multiple personalities (or persons) inside them. You can't say they're only part of them since they can't be removed as, say, the shell or yolk can from an egg.
You can't say they're a species since it's only one being. A person who has multiple personalities is only one person. But these different personalities also think, act and speak in different ways, know things that the other personalities (or persons) don't, and even do things which the other personalities don't remember. They interact and have relationships with each other but it's all ultimately still the same person.
It might be blasphemous to use this analogy since multiple personality disorder is a mental illness. But I think it's the closest we humans with our limited capacity can come to understanding a being as utterly outside our experience and realm of knowledge as God. We shouldn't expect the eternal and infinite God to make perfect sende according to our flawed and petty human logic. God is not a mathematical equation or scientific formula ;)
As for *why* the sacrifice of Christ was required for Redemption:
God is both perfectly merciful and perfectly just. His justice requires that the sins of the world be paid for, like a debt that has to be paid back and can't just be waved away. But His mercy means that He decides to bear the penalty Himself (through His Son) rather than allowing humans, who deserve it, to suffer it. The debt of sin is real; it has to be paid. If God 'just forgave' it, that would be unjust.
Also, Salvation is the story of God triumphing over Satan, Light triumphing over Darkness, Heaven triumphing over Hell, Christ triumphing over Death and Hades. By truly dying, descending into Hell and rescuing the spirits captive there (including the Old Testament Patriarchs like Adam and Abraham who lived before the time of Christ) and victoriously rising again and ascending into Heaven to sit at the Right Hand of the Father, He finally conquered Sin and Death once and for all, so that, as the Scripture says, Death is swallowed up in victory (basically Jesus is the original death-eater :). The whole story of the Redemption, from the Creation, Fall, Incarnation, Passion, Crucifixion, Resurrection, Ascension and, one day Return (Second Coming) is the central drama of the universe. It's not a coincidence that all time in the calendar the whole world now uses turns around Golgotha. Once you start asking 'why?', the question becomes why did God make anything at all? If God can 'just forgive' us, why even make us or allow us to fall into sin in the first place? The reason for that is the reason for everything. The only reason anything exists rather than nothing, the only reason God made or did anything, is to give Himself glory.
The universe is a story that God is telling Himself, and in which He plays the starring role. He is both the Author and the Hero of the saga of all existence.
(To get a better sense of the 'story' I'm talking about, I highly recommend the short animations by the channel 'Full of Eyes' to explain Christianity in a more 'cinematic' visual and audio medium. And if you do end up checking them out I'd love to see you react to them! I particularly recommend "The Supremacy of Christ Trilogy", "Set Your Eyes" and "Love Made").
By allowing man free will to turn away from Him, then sending Himself in the form of His Son to save us through His own suffering and Death, sacrificing Himself to Himself to satisfy fully the Penalty His Righteous Law demands, and not only showing but *making* the way not only of Repentance and Resurrection, but of Resurrection, He demonstrates His infinite love and power in a way He wouldn't if He simply forgave us our sins just like that. That, by the way, is also the reason God has to be a Trinity. God is Love but loving yourself is just narcissism. Love requires a relationship, which requires more than one person. Through all eternity, æons before mankind was created, God within Himself embodies love perfectly in the perfect relationship, perfect community and perfect family of the Trinity.
The question is, between Christianity and Islam, which is the better story? :)
As always, enjoyed the vid, great work, keep it up 👍

Hello, i am an orthodox and i saw how passionate u are about islam. Since u said that christianity contradict itself, im gonna put 10 points that i would be very happy to hear ur POV and explain to me why islam is the right path but not orthodoxy.
So, without further ado i dont want to insult anybody but for me muslims simply believe in fiction created by the Abbasids.
    1. Mecca didn’t exist in the 7th Century (at best a hamlet)
    A. No archeological evidence
    B. No historical evidence
    C. No or very little water
    2. Mecca (only mentioned once in the Quran) wasn’t on any historical map until 900.
The Quran talks about a fertile place, which is not Mecca.
    A. A stream
    B. Fruits
    C. Olive trees
    D. Fields etc.
None of which Mecca had in the 7th, 8th, 9th 10th, to the late 20th centuries when Saudi started to have water desalination plants built.
    3. Medina was an insignificant little place.
    4. The term ‘Mohammad’ (Praised One) was first found on a Christian coin in 661 referring to Jesus, the coin had Christian symbols.
    5. The term Mohammad was used by Arab Christians for Jesus until the mid-8th century.
    6. The Mohammad that Muslims think of was an Abbasid invention in the late 8th century or early 9th century.
Mohammad is mentioned four times in the Korans/Qurans, the Muslim/Abbasid Mohammad in the Quran is the last of the four (Surah 33:40), is an Abbasid interpolation, and the first three refer to Jesus.
    7. The Dome of the Rock was not a Mosque; it was built by Abdul al-Malik as an anti-trinitarian Christian building.
Both Abdul al-Malik and his brother were anti-trinitarian Christians and used Christian symbols on their coins.
    8. Abdul al-Malik sent a directive throughout his Kingdom saying that the term ‘Mohammad’ should refer to Jesus.
    9. The only original parts of the Dome of the Rock are the inner ambulatories and the Mohammad’s written on them refer to Jesus (in fact the term Jesus is on one of them), and they are decorated with lots of grapes, a Christian symbol.
    10. There were no Islamic Korans/Qurans in the 7th Century. The proto-Quran was in fact Christian lectionaries written in Aramaic and old Arabic. This has led to many mistranslations in the much later Islamic/Abbasid Quran. For example, it is not the Virgins that men get in Paradise but Grapes!
Conclusion; What Muslims believe today is a fraudulent story started by the Abbasids when they came into power in 749. The Abbasids bastardized the Arab Anti-trinitarian Christian lectionaries (combined with the mistranslations) to form their Qurans to suit their agenda.

I'm aware Muslims do not want to accept that God can come to Earth as a human, because God is supposedly too great and absolute and won't limit itself in such a weak form. But then why accept God came to earth as a mere bush when he talked to Moses.
In both cases God descended and took an Earthly expression to influence humanity. That did not limit him as a God, who is still simultaneously in Heaven checking on everything.
In Christianity, the Holy Spirit, God, is still coming today to the world. It still influences and inspires, sent by the Father (and also by the Son for Catholics).
The main difference between Islam and Christianity actually is that the Bible is not the main pillar of the Christian religion like the Quran is for Islam. The source is Jesus himself. The living, influencing God. Christianity says he is alive, and we keep receiving the Holy Spirit, and we keep discovering God's truths. Catholics, Orthodox and *some* Protestants don't agree with Sola Scriptura. The faith is not limited to just the book. Some Christians may think that the Bible is perfect but many actually do not think so. The main point here is that that does not matter. The Bible was written and compiled by humans, by divine inspiration, but since they were humans it could have some errors. Although all found ancient versions of Christian texts are actually quite similar and only change grammar, typos and elements which do not impact the core aspects of the faith. Given that it has so many authors and was written at so many different places, it is surprisingly consistent as a belief system.
But as I said before, even then the religion is not sterile; it's not contained in a mere text. The church, who compiled it, has traditions following direct apostolic succession starting from the original apostles who lived among Jesus. And it includes believing that God is present at our liturgies, that we can communicate when praying, that He can choose to make appearances to some people, etc. Christianity brings a personal relationship with God to every human, not just laws, story and words. And it is an unbroken continuum of 2000+ years. The texts are just one part of it.
And now a very personal opinion which I hope doesn't sound offensive. I think it is much more logical to mistrust a single source claiming to bring the ultimate, final and totally perfect version of the one true religion, compared to having so many sources gathered from different authors, locations and years, and they all agreeing on what occurred. With one source you just need one link to lie in order for everything to be false. And I have serious doubts about a prophet who waged war to expand his text version and who demanded that 20% of the spoils of war obtained by his followers to be sent to him.
Mathew 24: 11 does give us the following: "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.". Or Matthew 7: 15 which tells us some more.
Bless you guys, great reaction. You earned a subscriber.

The simplest way to explain the Holy Trinity to someone who don’t understand what “the father, son and holy spirit are all separate beings, but they are all also God” means, just put it like this:
Think of the Christianity as a video game.
    And God is the player.
He has 1 main account where He is Himself. Thats the Father.
He then makes a second account where He plays more of a support role. Thats the Holy Spirit.
And then, while in His secondary account, He makes a 3rd account where He has an alter ego. That is the Son(Jesus). All 3 accounts ARE all Him; but they are NOT each other.

    • @neochris2
      @neochris2 9 місяців тому +1

Eh, it's actually a good explanatory thought, I don't dislike it, but remember that reaching a definitive conclusion on the Trinity is not possible on Earth.
We do not know how the Heavens work, we don't know the mechanisms and essence of God, angels and their realms.
The videogame analogy would not have been understandable to a 1st century Christian. With even more reason, the actual full truth of the matter is not understandable for anyone living in the world.
There is nothing more infinite and absolute than God, his true essence is unreachable to us. It is impossible for us to conceptualize it. If there is going to be one full concept that is out of reach for us, it's going to be the very nature of God Himself.
Which is why any religion offering an easily understood, easy to digest concept of God, is going to be man-made.

11:05 "that’s what humans do, they corrupt things over time." That is a quite good statement for why i reject religions as a whole.
If I have an immortal soul, which i seriously doubt, why would I risk it based on words by man?
Some say do X or be punished, others say if i do X i will be punished and i should do Y instead. So on and so on. If God/Gods exist i hope They like me and i want to like Them back. But i won't devote my life to what people claim. If God/Gods want to punish me just because They never told/showed me their existence, then I do not want anything to do with Them.
Pascal's wager works in all directions. If Christians are right, the rest will go to hell, if Buddhists are right others will be sent to Naraka etc.
My goal in life is to try make the world and my loved ones lives a little bit brighter. If a God appears for me, then I'll become religious. If not I'm gonna live a good fulfilling nihilistic life. If there truly is no meaning with life, then it's okay, we can still enjoy ourselves and try to make our planet a paradise. Will we ever succeed? Who knows? Still worth striving for.

in these verses where Jesus says the son won’t know the hour was alluding to ancient marriage customs. As they describe it, the groom’s father had the ultimate authority to decide when the couple would marry, but the bride, groom, and entire community were aware of the plan due to the necessity of extensive wedding planning within the community. In the same way, they claim that Jesus was not making a statement about actually not knowing the day and hour but was instead deferring to the Father’s authority to determine the hour.

This marriage script is also quoted by Jesus elsewhere. John 14:2-3 (ESV) says:
2 In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

One of the biggest problems with Islamic theology is its belief that prior scripture was corrupted. If God gave his word down to prophets, and even told them in his word that his word cannot be corrupted, but they became corrupted so he sends his final revelation, how do you know it hasn't been corrupted? We do not havr Qurans from before the standardisation of Uthman, many are franments from a long time after that. Why are you so confident that God's message hasn't been corrupted? 1400 years is not a short time. Also, if he can stop it from being corrupted, then why didn't he do this the first time? Why let the jews and the Christians succumb to error when he could have stopped it?

Pascal wager is flawed as a concept though, as if you are worshipping the "wrong" god you are also always punished, and often in service of such "wrong" belief you can commit atrocities believing that your belief gives you absolution. The best possible outcome of Pascal Wager is actually if no punishing afterlife exists at all, because maybe the "real god" is not even listed in the possibilities we have at hand on earth and all would be equally punished. The problem with the idea of a "last prophet and last religion" mindset is that every apocalyptic cult always says that the times are ending "soon", have been saying that for thousand of years... Preservation of religion for millennia is kind of impossible, the same forces act to change beliefs over time no matter how well the scriptures are kept, as interpretation of text also changes the practices it teaches over time. If we believed those religions, there really was supposed to be "no time left" every time a prophet died, every revelation WAS sold to the pubblic as the last one and the most pure.
I understand your point of view given your cultural background, and i am enjoying seeing your attempts at getting to know better what other religions and cultures teach, dont get me wrong. I hope you get to have a fruitful and interesting experience on this journey

We believe Islam is the final revelation for mankind, I have never heard of Christianity, Judaism, or any other religion claiming they are the final revelation? Where is that found? And if so, could it be backed up with evidence?
We believe Islam is the final religion for a multitude of logical reasons that would takes too long to relay in a comment, I’m sure you know what I mean though.
And Islam as a religion has existed for almost 1.5k years and hasn’t changed, only gotten bigger and will continue to do so, why do you think is impossible to be preserved? Islam is living proof of preservation for the last ~1500 years literally, verified by secular historians as well.

      @PIEMMEQuadro 9 місяців тому

@@MuslimMindsUS well, not as a whole perhaps, but plenty of sects within the judaic and christian faiths have tried to lay claim to the concept as "our prophet is the only true way to god and the end is coming soon" concept. Since the 3rd century BCE Jewish tradition gave birth to plenty of apocalyptic cults, expecting since the times of their Babylonian captivity gave rise to the expectation of their messiah in the form of a last guide sent by God that would end the corruption of the world as hinted at in Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and The "Book of Daniel" written during the maccabean revolts in particoular. I know Muslims interpret it differently, but it's pretty easy for the catholics to claim "John 14:6 and 14:9" and "Cor 15:20-28" as scripture attesting that Jesus is the ONLY way to God, and painting any other prophet following as a false one. "Hebrews 1:1-3" claims that "in these last days" god spoke through his son, signifying their expectation for an end already in the first century. The entirety of the "Apocalypse of John" uses Jesus as the symbol for the conflict with future false prophets, a conflict that in the second century AD was supposedly "soon to come". The Qiyama borrows heavily from the christian tradition, with some differences between Sunni ad Shia given the different roles of the Mahdi in both versions. i guess Islam is the one that takes the time to state that their prophet is the last true one, while the others only imply it, but even islam is not immune to fracturing and adapting to the different cultures it flourishes in, giving rise to plety of interpretation of the sacred texts that can change drastically from a country to the next. Given that most of those texts are written more than a century after the prophets they are inspired by and often pretty far away from the actual events that transpired, i dont see any of them as particoularly trustworthy or precise about any possible revelation, as you are quick to point out that man can be pretty fickle and tend to change things.
Certainly, all major religions that use a central text of faith claim it as the only "truly inspired" word of the creator, so in that sense they all claim to be the "final one". but given that the evidence for ALL of them is often of the same kind and completely faith based (as proof of a book being written does not equate to proof of the magical aspects described and contained within it), i cant in good faith take it as truth without being shown actual proof of it being accurate. Preservation is also something most religion take pretty seriously, and we can attest to the burning of plenty of books that deviated from the officially accepted canon; but i am also pretty sure that said canon was decided by men centuries after the prophet passing; we also conveniently have no direct writing of the prophets themselves, so we have a pretty dangerous game of telephone between Allah, his angels, the prophets, then the humans who wrote down their stories. The vast differences in the way people live their faith and the width of any creed makes the "true faithful" pretty hard to pinpoint, as any faith might keep hold of central pillars and tenets pretty strongly, but can't help to apply and interpret them in different ways over the centuries. There is as much variety in the practice of everyday muslims as there is among christians or any other faith, and muslims today in Qatar live pretty different lives than muslims in Afghanistan, Indonesia, Egypt, America or Iran, although they can say to practice the same faith, they may be Sunni, Shia, Sufi, Khawarij, and beyond that Ibadi, Salafi, Wahabi, etc. Getting bigger brings with it more differences, and many new sects have already risen like the Nation of Islam. i know that some of those might be Takfir to you, but you probably are also Takfir to them.
There are plenty of tenets of faith that can be good guides for life, and that make sense to follow probably, so i can see the reason for their application regardless of faith. Islam might be the fastest growing recently, but if measured with the population growth of humankind, it's not as impressive a concept as you might think. Just as Christianity claim of being the most numerous or Hinduism claim of being the oldest are also not significant, given that the real point of it is if it is true, or even if it is the most beneficial to humankind, if you are more of an utilitarian.
i feel like the "true islam", is like "true christianity", a very nice ideal that is overcomplicated by tradition and and the politics of power between populations. Meanwhile New religions will keep popping out like Scientology and that HAPPY SCIENCE cult that melds Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and a bunch of others together over in japan, that have grown pretty rapidly as well despite their apparent sillyness, i wouldnt be surprised if they become competitors now that their prophets are both dead since march of this year took Ryuho Okawa back to his Elcantare. that said, i enjoy the great variety of mankind, so i hope to keep seeing your videos

What I don’t understand is why most of this video was extremely informative except for the portion about Judaism. It came across as dismissive and disrespectful. The reform sect of Judaism still follows the Torah but not as strictly as the other sects. Judaism is an ethnoreligion so many of the traditions have cultural significance along with religious. That’s also why there are many Jews who are secular but still celebrate the holidays and identify as Jewish (it literally shows in DNA tests.) Jewish people are the chosen people in the sense that they were chosen to worship only god (basically chosen to follow more rules.) The reason Jesus isn’t the messiah is because he didn’t meet all the requirements and the events associated with the coming of the true messiah simply haven’t happened yet. Specifically the rebuilding of the temple, an age of peace, and a ingathering of Jews to their homeland. The change in tone when discussing Judaism was extremely apparent to me and disappointed me. Again, most of this video was extremely informative and thoughtful which leads me to believe that whoever created the video you are reacting to has bias against Jewish people. That is unfortunate and I hope you educate yourself about Judaism from less biased sources because it truly is a beautiful religion.

Interesting to know different ideas. However, respecting all religions by saying all religions lead to the same ultimate truth is not disrespectful for any religion...As a Hindu, I believe Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti, an Upanishadic statement from the yore, meaning One God Is Worshipped In Different Names. If that one god created me (a hindu) and created you (a muslim/christian/etc) he would equally love me and you when he sees that we are devoted to come closer and realize the almighty. God is not human and hence doesn't have ego/anger/pride etc. If he has no pride/ego/anger etc, I am sure he would still love me for being a hindu as much he would love for example a christian or muslim or any other follower. There are different objectives of any religion. One of that is to restore and maintain an inner peace in us humans. If atheists don't subscribe to any religions and yet if they are peaceful then it's all good. Ultimately one medicine doesn't work the same for all patients. Different medicines- different religions, but purpose of all is same, to cure the patients.

The point that you mean meaninglessness here as 17:20 about that "forgiveness" of God in Christ. I`m a recently converted christian came from a totally secular point of view and life, and to me the main point about the forgiveness in Christianity is that the God can`t forgive us without being injustice by his own Law, once i`had sin , i`m guilty and corrupted and now i deserve death and punishment, if God just decide "ok u changed your mind i will forgive you like u never been sin before" he was not corrupted? i mean i still deserve my punishment by past acts. So in that way God is just choosing those he will apply his law and those who will not. The idea of sacrifice in cristianity proclains that God forgive us punishing his son (because he is a perfect human uncorrupted) and that make God still complete just because no law was forgiven or indistrictly decided to "not apply the law" .
In Christianity no one can deserve heaven which make it a religion for people who knows that is bad, and who i`m now. I thought that i was a good person and just were was on a secular view but the way i discover Christ showed me that i`m soo evil that only God can save me in a situation i`m in.
I`ve watching all your videos reacting to redeemed zoomer (which is not same christian as i am, he is presbiteryan and i`m Baptist) and i`m being like soo much, i will be here a lot i think. Thank for your trully reaction and comments.

Pagan gods are not 'finite'. This idea stems purely from mythology( ex Zeus cheating on Hera, Ares getting trapped in a bronze jar, Hades tricking Persephone). The idea that pagans believe their written texts is an abrahamic concept. The mythology was to teach life lessons, literature and explain things( seasons, suffering on earth, existance of plants, animals etc.) When looking at a god you don't look at their mythology you look at their cult and how they were worshipped back then.

To your statement about why God couldnt just forgive without coming down and “killing himself” , this belief is more common among Evangelical Christians than it is among more ancient Christians like Orthodox. We believe God could absolutely forgive without becoming human, the point of the incarnation wasnt as much “a payment” as it was God’s way of sanctifying human nature, redeeming humanity. God became man that man can become divine pretty much. The whole purpose of Christianity is theosis or sanctification… the process of restoring God’s image in humans. Not only that but it could be argued that if there was a payment, it made more sense that it was more to satan who the Bible says humans prior Christ were slaves to. If you’re a slave to evil and death, and our Savior comes and dies and rises again-conquering death we no longer are slaves to death but to the one who defeated death. Christians belong now to Christ, to the eternal WORD of God, and the purpose of our lives is to serve God and not sin or the devil although sadly the devil has deceived many and made them believe that all you need to do is confess Jesus and that’s all.

Jesus did come as a human. Your image of God is that such that it is illogical for a Divine being to abandon his infinite power for the measly sake of humanity.
Well Christianity describes it as a demonstration of the mighty love he has for humanity.
And no he cannot just forgive the sin of humans. That goes against his nature of being a just God, and someone has to pay for justice to be served. And even according to your analogy, what about your neighbor's broken window. The deed is done, so whos gonna pay for the window.
According to islam, if you fix two other windows then the neighbors broken window doesn't matter anymore.

    • @MuslimMindsUS

I don’t really understand your window example. But logically, if God abandons his infinite power, he is not God anymore, how is that illogical? Infinite power is what defines God/Allah, that’s the point. Is it not?
In Islam, we do believe in a Just God, everyone will be held accountable for their deeds on the day of judgement.

Its just the ways muslims turn to kaba and want to touch the black stone I guess(if thats not an idol). Didn’t the Prophet Muhammad literally ran around hiding from people who were persecuting him or wanting to kill him..? Then why do specifically point out Jews and Christian’s as persecuted?
One thing is clear in Quran which is the creation of caliphate which the other Abrahamic religions failed to prescribe in their Torah and Bible.. which helped the Muslims over the period of time to surround themselves with strong support and not face similar level of persecution..

I'm going to explain the trinity using computer science.
Imagine you have a section of memory, quite a few bytes in length. Now, with that section of memory I make a byte array out of it. That's good, but now I also make an int32 array to access that memory. I create them to point to the same memory, but they are different, they are not equivalent, but they are both that memory. Lastly, I just absolutely go crazy and point a char array (string) to this memory. That string is vastly different to the other two, heck, you can't even use addition on one of the characters (what does adding characters even mean?). In this way, there is one set of memory, and the byte array, int32 array, and string are all that memory, but they are not each other. Furthermore, although the strings is 100% that memory, no arguing there, the string does not have all the abilities that you would expect from that memory, yet, indisputably, it is that memory.
I think this is the best explanation of the trinity, and the sad part is that few people will understand it because they're using int32 arrays in their everyday life lol.
If there's something wrong with this explanation please point it out.

Bro, you cannot be this intelligent and not see how your religion’s claims are as unsubstantiated as other religions. The strength of your confidence is equal to the other religion followers. Your bias shows here. There are fallacies in your arguments. I agree that out of all abrahamic doctrine the Quran is more preserved then the others but that does not correlate to the truth. Just like the other doctrine followers, people appear to cherry pick their way through all the falsehoods and contradictions. Where does the Quran say semen comes from? Between the rib and the spine? I know where science says it originates from. Good video fellas.

@MuslimMindsUS I heard non Muslims go to hell due to not doing things for the next life, so I assume fulfilling Allah's will would be the muslim equivalent to being saved by Jesus. It comes back to the video by you cliaming Jesus being a ticket to heaven makes no sense. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your stance.

    • @MuslimMindsUS
      @MuslimMindsUS  7 місяців тому +1

I think that’s a fair comparison. Muslims would say to ensure you reach paradise you engage in true monotheism and follow the prophet of your time to demonstrate true belief.
Similarly, believing Jesus being the sacrifice and God himself to attain salvation.
Ofc there are differing views in Christian denominations such as sects believing in works or faith alone.
Islam believes in God granting mercy to whom he wills but that depends on your belief and your works are fuel for your belief, so works on their own are not valued unless it’s for the sake of God (which demonstrates belief)
I hope I answered your question

The Quran was written by people who never met Mohammed. The Bible was written by those who actually met Christ. The Quran also says that the Injil (new testament) was given to Christians by Allah. Jesus claims many times to be God incarnate. So you said jesus did not know the hour he would be killed, even though in the bible it literally says that Jesus told the disciples that he would be killed, because of one of them, that night (the last supper). Also, you guys said that God would not want to sacrifice himself for humans , but that is not true. God sacrificed himself for humans, because our sins would not let us go into heaven. Finally, you said that it makes no sense that you have to trust in Jesus to go to heaven because people before Jesus had no chance to go into heaven then. This is very hypocritical, because in Islam you have to follow the five pillars to go to heaven. Oh, and yes, the people before Jesus went to heaven as well (if they had trust in God). This is found in 1 Peter 3:19 if you want to look it up!

Misunderstanding atheists right from the start. Why dismiss as dumb instead of trying to understand?

    • @MuslimMindsUS
      @MuslimMindsUS  7 місяців тому +1

To be fair, I personally believe many world beliefs are dumb, but I won’t insult a person for that belief. For example: I won’t insult you for choosing to be atheist.
Like democratic parties. Civilized people will not attack and degrade others for siding with the opposite political party even if you boil down their view of the other party as being dumb.
That being said, classifying a belief as dumb does not necessarily mean no attempt at understanding was made.
Atheists raise very valid questions. But personally, I think a universe, all the living organisms, symmetry, consciousness, emotion and so on could not have come into being and formed into what they are today, based of random chance.
Matter always existing and infinitely regressing makes no sense. As we all know, everything in the known universe is dependent on something else to exist, but this cannot be the case for all things for all time as we would infinitely regress backwards. The notion of an independent variable brining about the universe makes a lot of sense as that provides an origin to the known universe instead of an infinite regress of dependent variables.
Atheism also is looped into the community of skeptics and bringing everything into question, including once’s own existence and nothing can be for certain. This has no real basis and falls into the realm of paranoia and denial of objective reality and jumping to radical suggestions with zero evidence, such as higher level cosmic societies or aliens that control stars. Something like that probably has the possibility of existing but the same people who entertain these thoughts affirm that the existence of God in anyway is impossible.
Agnosticism is more respectable in my view because it is actually a more scientific undertaking of the subject of the universe and its origins. Agnosticism does not rule out the possibility of a creator/ God figure, however, atheism on the other hand denies God full stop.
If we are to entertain skepticism and possibilities, then we can’t really rule out the possibility of anything even if some beliefs are wildly absurd like the Flying Spaghetti Monster. However, thinking more rationally and being realistic, it’s plausible to say a being of super natural intelligence could have created or possesses the ability to create the universe. We still are learning about the origins of the universe so something like that cannot be written off as impossible, there is no valid reason for its impossibility.
Atheism is a belief rooted in being in denial or refusing to entertain a subject or possibility of Gods existence and I find that dumb

I'm pretty sure it's more that the Trinity shares one conscience rather then being a species. (Also God is all powerful so he can in fact become human, because since he's omnipotent he can do anything even if it contradicts itself, because he doesn't have to follow our logic because he is above our concepts of logic and does not need to follow them, even then Jesus can still have a 100% divine nature, and 100 human nature, because... well I don't know how to explain other than by comparison, so think about it like this, you put one 100% full unopened bottle of soda (that 100% full soda bottle represents his 100% divine nature) in the fridge (the fridge representing Jesus) then you put another 100% full unopened bottle of a different kind of soda (this 100% full soda bottle representing his 100% human nature) in the same fridge (Jesus) you now have two 100% full unopened bottles of different sodas in one fridge. (or a 100% Divine nature and 100% human nature in one being) (also I wrote a large majority of this in speech to text so sorry for any potential mistakes)

That doesn't mean he wasn't fully God. He still possessed divine power, even when he was on earth. And as to why he didn't know the hour, perhaps that when limited to a human form, even God can't be as powerful as he could be if he didn't have to follow the constraints of being a human. Or perhaps, Jesus just chose to leave the knowledge of the hour to the Father. If Jesus is God, and God can do anything, perhaps Jesus can withhold information from himself, and pass the information off his Father. Not to mention Muhammad’s more “take-no-shits” attitude and approach when it came to spreading the message of Yhwh/Allah than Jesus or even the Jews did.
