Designing stickers is the easy part. Getting customers and selling enough to make more than a measly profit is the hard part. I’d be interested to see your actual numbers with a new Etsy shop
Like every business, it takes time to get started. Margins on stickers ARE very low, so to make money, you need to create lots of designs and list them. And wait :)
I've done it before - i started my new etsy store just selling t-shirts. I also done it recently and blew up a digital products store on Etsy. People said it was over saturated and i made lots of sales - you have to go after trends, looks for opportunities. And upload lots of designs. I have another video dropping soon where i reveal some etsy seo tips and tricks, so you can rank. but totally possible - everyone has to start somewhere.
@@LiamJamesKay will be interested to see your next video! I’ve seen a few videos on stickers specifically but I feel like there is a huge gap of information for the steps between uploading the artwork and actually making a profit, with most people throwing out seemingly random dollar amounts with no proof. I’ve heard quantity is important too, but am curious how much is too much considering that for every 100 uploads you’ll be charged $80 a year in Etsy listing fees. I know it’s easier for pre-established Etsy stores or if you buy paid ads, but I’m guessing that’s not the situation most people are in. I do like that you emphasized sticker sheets vs individual ones in this video.

One wining design, could earn you a lot more than $80. So you won't even need to worry about paying for listings in future. And yes, sticker sheets is the best way to offer more value to customers, without it costing you more money to make.
How do you manage to make sells with the high delivery fees that printful or printify charge ? Most big sellers on etsy offer free delivery, and I doubt that any customers would pay 4$ shipping fees for a sticker

Idea is nice, but I don't think so we can directly upload stickers as it is, it's may cause copyright issues until we need to do some modification then upload right?
No, that is incorrect. There are no copyright issues using AI art (unless, of course, you are creating copies of existing copyrighted images such as Disney, etc).
@Third Dimension Jewellery plz read copyright policy of midjourney they clearly mentioned. Only subscribers can use it directly not a free user, also my redbubble account is blocked because I used on the AI images directly...
@@TechAdiViews I was responding to someone who didn’t mention the free account - simply using MJ in general. My answer was correct. I was, of course, referring to subscribers, and in any case as of this writing there are no more free accounts allowed. There were too many people gaming the system with numerous different email addresses.
@Rgasta Let me clarify a few things… First up, I’m sad that you’re sad to see an independent creator being paid for his hard work but anyway… Before Printful approached me to sponsor this video, I had already been using their services for print on demand and had success in selling t-shirts and phones cases. I recently discovered stickers, made some sales a saw the potential then decided to do a video about it because I genuinely believe it can help others make money too. I would have done this video whether Printful sponsored me or not. I assure you that I'm very selective when it comes to sponsorships. In fact, Printful is only the second sponsorship I've ever accepted on this channel. I get 50+ emails a day asking for sponsorships and I refuse almost all of them. I would never promote something just for the sake of making money. Sponsorships like this help support the channel, allowing me to pay for things like editing and other necessary costs. So why would I not accept sponsorship for a legit company that I was already using and creating videos about? You should be happy for me brother
@@LiamJamesKay Fair enough. However "made some sales and decided to make a video" is not the Liam we used to know. With this video the business model is proven, I’ve made lots of money from print on demand. But rather than just posting videos about t-shirts, I chose a newer strategy of stickers and ai. I also showed proof that stickers sell. It’s not like I just randomly did a video about a method that I’ve never tried and I have no proof it works.
@@LiamJamesKay I am just making some observations; we see lots of "how to make $__ a day" videos for methods that the creators don't even use. Looking forward to see a great video about recurrent commission that you promote and are making you money NOW. 🙏👋

First time I’ve ever done a video about a sticker business. But I’m here to help people make money and share ideas. There’s lots of niches you could target for stickers, and lots of traffic’s sources. Plus 99% of people who watch these videos don’t take action - so it won’t get as saturated as you may think.
@@LiamJamesKay I think he's talking about all the videos you've made about making money with ai. I know ai is a popular topic right now but with this video you're basically promoting actually talented people possibly losing their jobs to untalented "artists"(if you can even call them that)
@@jimschips254 there are still a lot of things and styles artists can do that AI can’t (like recurring characters or design themes, stylized text, hands..) and it will just force them to lean into that more and develop unique skills. @@KirbyHenry10 but you have to see how fast ai is learning/developing. Very soon it will be able to write entire novels with pictures, recurring characters, and prolly even graphics.
@@jimschips254 I agree, but if you look at the examples he showed in this video, my guess would be they are not AI generated - especially the duck with a knife because it’s kind of a meme. I view it the same as increased technology in music editing software and photoshop and video editing software suddenly making it more accessible for the average user. You don’t need to study guitar for 5 years before being able to produce a good song. It’s just the inevitable evolution of technology. @@thatwhitekid3902 That’s actually what I do with other digital products, but there is a downside to that I’m afraid and that is people can then steal and use on sites such as Zazzle, Cafepress, Creative Fabrica, etc. But, there are thieves everywhere, unfortunately, and other than getting depressed at the decline of human decency there ain’t much you can do about it. :)
I’ve been drawing since I could hold a crayon. Can’t even lie, this AI trend is pissing me off. Non artists making a living from art is infuriating when I’ve worked so hard for the skills I have. I guess I have to stoop to using AI as well on top of my hand drawn custom art. Real artists have never been taken seriously
Thank you 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Are you going to keep selling that billionaires shirt when you become one yourself Liam? 😂 Love the video!
which billionaires shirt?
Hey Liam. I am a teenager and I really really want to make money. What is the best possible hustle online that I could do to make lots of money. I am looking for something fairly easy and minimal work as I am in school and have a part time job. Thanks.
Start by taking action on THIS video. Keep at it until you have stickers that are making money. Then repeat.
From Yesterday I was thinking "I am sure he's trying out a lot of ai businesses lol and the next video will be talking about it"
And today boom 😂
Haha yeah I’m loving diving into these ai strategies so there’s plenty more to come.
@@LiamJamesKay can't wait for more
Idea is nice, but I don't think so we can directly upload stickers as it is, it's may cause copyright issues until we need to do some modification then upload right?
Sad to see Liam being sponsored and making sponsored videos. (He isn't making money with stickers. He is just promoting the company that prints them)
@Rgasta Let me clarify a few things…
First up, I’m sad that you’re sad to see an independent creator being paid for his hard work but anyway…
Before Printful approached me to sponsor this video, I had already been using their services for print on demand and had success in selling t-shirts and phones cases.
The one we know is an expert in affiliate marketing AND genuinely shares methods, and strategies that made him hundreds of thousands. That's what your followers need. Hope u get my point.
@@rgasta7765 I can’t win. Would you prefer me to post the method in 2 years time when I’ve rinsed it, it’s over saturated and it no longer works?
I’m trying to share a mixture of proven methods but also new ideas for people to try. To keep people excited and help them get results.
but I am making money from print on demand NOW
why do you keep promoting this? The outcome will be hundred thousands of people doing this and at the end of the day nobody will get richt anymore because there too many people will offer the same...
It’s the same reason you can often guess which at is AI generated and which isn’t. I don’t think resisting the technology will do anyone any favors down the line.
If the AI market gets saturated, art with a noticeable human touch will become more valuable
I miss those marketing videos.
which ones?
@@LiamJamesKay affiliate marketing ones.
You taught about influencer marketing
Drop servicing was one I loved paired with search ads.
But i guess people like more of these catchy. Quick rich scheme kind of videos.
