I've watched so many "how to start a sticker business" videos, this was the first one I found genuinely helpful. It tells me everything I want to know in a way that isn't overwhelming and I feel really positive about starting my business in the future. Thanks so much I really enjoyed it
Im almost 40. Always drawn as a hobby. Now that i have a daughter, im looking to make side $. Even if i dont sell 1 single sticker, i want to be an example and overcome my fear of failure. Thank you for helping my little family and me!
When you said we should be proud of even one sale I smiled. I drew some coloring pages and put them on Etsy. Over the course of a few months I think I sold 2. I have been down b/c I put a lot of work into them but it's so saturated with *cough* AI art *cough* and it's hard competition. Anyway just knowing at least 2 people found joy in my art makes me happy and I should be proud of myself. I just tend to get down easily. I enjoy drawing and painting and I just need to keep at it. :)
Omg this is so me too, reading this made my day knowing others are feeling the same way 🥰 I hope you keep continue and not be so hard on yourself 😍 bless up 🙏
Save yourself the headache and get an eco tank printer. The best investment I’ve ever made. The ink lasts forever and each of the four bottles you need to refill only cost about $18 each and again, last forever. And I also recommend finding a good vinyl sticker paper. I’ve tried so many different kinds of sticker paper, including online labels which are terrible.
This is exactly the kind of video Ive been looking for. As an artist, making a sticker business seemed simple on paper, but I assumed there was a lot more to it than just "buy mass quantities of stickers of the art your drew and sell them all off." Im glad not only that this video confirmed my assumptions were correct, but also gave me the clarification and info I needed. Thanks for making this!
I'm so glad you made this. I'm gonna be opening my easy shop soon selling stickers and prints. I'm glad you talked about not spreading yourself to thin because I was gonna do that at first. I was gonna sell stickers, Keychain, prints, buttons. But then I was like that's alot of out sourcing. So I'm gonna start with just prints and stickers And with low quantity for all.
Sounds like a plan! (I also started with just 2 stickers and a few small prints😄) I wish you all the best with your shop. So glad you found the vid helpful!!💕😊
this is a really well done video! I'd like to add a point tho, the taxes part! before opening a business you should check the tax laws of your country, like for example in my country you can't do all this legally without first registering your business and paying some very high taxes upfront😢
If you dont have a scanner or cant pay to get scans, take a picture of the drawing, send it to your device that you draw on, and then trace over it digitally. Its a bit tedious depending on the piece, but it works pretty well!

So thank you for posting this in-depth video and showing, not just me, but everybody that it ISN'T impossible. Can't wait to watch more of your new videos!
This was the BEST video! Most videos are so loud, fast paced and only give pretty much a one sided information being what they use and no other options or at least explain the other options. Your video was wonderful, easy to listen to, understoid everything you said and you gave pros & cons to everything. Thank you SO very much for posting this. Hope you and your business have an amazing year!
I notice that in these videos of DIY craft, the ladies are very precise & neat. Their fingers are slim, slender and a little small. If only people supported their work more, by buying directly from them.

This is an incredible video, so helpful, so detailed, but not too overwhelming. Seriously, I learned so much and feel more motivated and grounded about starting my business
Thanks for sharing this. I'm still learning for my arts and crafts small biz. This really helps pipz like me. Sometimes it's really overwhelming when you have ideas to try. 😅 Thanks again!
Thank you so much for the video, it was really helpful! I've been curious how to do the manufacturing and other things at home and what that would entail. I've had a redbubble shop for a good number of years at this point with just a few sales here and there. The business of marketing yourself on social media or other means always stressed me tf out, but lately I've been feeling really silly having these designs sitting there, not advertising them at all and then get a random sale out of nowhere. So that tells me there's people out there who do like my art and do actually want to buy it, I'm just not trying harder because I'm scared of not knowing how. So thanks, really, this video was super informative !
Lol the “you’re right I totally don’t” from Steve made me laugh out loud 😂 I always think that when people say they’d buy off me I’m like “would ya though.” Thank you for the informative video!! I keep umming and ahhing about finally opening my sticker business and my partner purchased a Cricut Joy for me to make things (I know you can’t make stickers the normal way on them you have to do a little hack for that specific machine but still). I have support but it’s just me being unsure. Your video helped me clear my head a lot ❤
😂In all seriousness though, I do think most people mean it when they say they would want to buy your stuff; but life is life and budgets are budgets! Sometimes people just can’t at that moment, or change their mind after reading more about the product, or just forget. (I’ve been there as a customer) So I try to take those comments as positive feedback, like “there’s interest!” but not “people are DEFINITELY going to buy this” because you can never predict that. ;) And I’m so glad the video helped bring some clarity, I wish you best of luck when you open your shop!!💕
I see you're using, and recommend, oracal 651 for an overlaminate. For this purpose, from the same brand, oraguard 200 or 210 is a better choice. It has uv resistance added into it, so the media underneath survives the sun better. The price is also the same or cheaper, depending on the supplier.
Love this video Zaccura! I have kind of stepped back to re think my business. I still want to make stickers and notebooks. I guess i should be proud that I sold around 1300 custom stickers for a lady for her business marketing, nearly a year ago.. it started with 300 stickers, then she came back for another 1000 stickers. I made like $200 ❤ felt so good. But making custom stickers with one cricut is intensive and some tedious work and I WAY underpriced myself ❤ I took a step back though, to focus on my girls and homeschooling, but I know my time will come! I want to get an ipad and procreate and learn to make my own designs! I know that can take a few years to get the hang out though since I'm not very artistically inclined. ❤ None the less thank you for this honest and truthful video! ❤
Ahh 1300 sold stickers is definitely an accomplishment to be proud of!! Everyone undersells themselves the first few times, it's no worry, the fact is you did it!🙌 I know your time will come again too, hope you enjoy the journey of making your own designs. Best of luck, and I'm so glad you enjoyed the video!!💕
Hiya! This was thourough, detailed, and so helpful on so many levels. As someone who wanted to find ways to make my art more flexible, your video is really eye opening. I also love the fact that you pointed out that certain fancy equipment isn't a MUST, which is really comforting. Thanks for this and wishing you more successes!
I really was so lost to what business of what I want to do...but then I saw this video and found sticker business. I gotta say even for just a stickers...it has A LOT of things you had to invest and money to put into, But just like you said start small. Imma actually try it out but ofc I just started I will try to make it little by little and start by small steps even if my customers are only 2 or 3 hehe.
I loved the video, im that kind of person that only thinks that should do, but never does anything cuz im afraid of what could go wrong. But i enjoyed your tips so much, thankyou, im currently working at some artworks, and for the star i would like to try selling stikers first, because one think i learn in cons is that, everyone LOVES stikers, about literly everything, so Im going to start from there. thankyou so much for this video

So that tells me there's people out there who do like my art and do actually want to buy it, I'm just not trying harder because I'm scared of not knowing how.
So thanks, really, this video was super informative !
Selling/marketing is hard for sure! But that's great that you've gotten some sales though, sounds like good designs! Wish you best of luck💕🙏
THIS WAS SO HELPFULL! THANK YOU!
14:17 That Fishing Art Looks really nice
Thank you!! It's called 'The Spirit Fisher'! :D
Excellent video, thanks for sharing your wisdom. Great vibes too . Love the sense of humor
Lol the “you’re right I totally don’t” from Steve made me laugh out loud 😂
I always think that when people say they’d buy off me I’m like “would ya though.”
Thank you for the informative video!!
(I’ve been there as a customer)
So I try to take those comments as positive feedback, like “there’s interest!” but not “people are DEFINITELY going to buy this” because you can never predict that. ;)
And I’m so glad the video helped bring some clarity, I wish you best of luck when you open your shop!!💕
By far the best informational video on making a sticker business I've seen, the links were a huge help as well. Thanks so much

@@Zaccura The seed packets were a great idea! Just ordered some
This was very informative, thank you!
Your art is so beautiful!
Aw thanks!!!💕
I see you're using, and recommend, oracal 651 for an overlaminate. For this purpose, from the same brand, oraguard 200 or 210 is a better choice. It has uv resistance added into it, so the media underneath survives the sun better. The price is also the same or cheaper, depending on the supplier.
Thanks for sharing this info!!💕
What a video is the most complete thing I ever seen 😢😢❤ thank you
Thank you so much for making this video! Great tips, motivational & love your demeanor, art and presentation!

I saw that on their Instagram!! I was like um YES!💕 Also as a small biz that depends on the usps, I feel like I should thank you for your service😁✌
Absolute fantastic video. So much actually helpful information. Thanks. One new subscriber here...
I'm so glad you found the video helpful! So glad to have ya here, thanks for the support! 💕
This video was great, every question I had and didn't know I had was answered!
So happy to hear it!😊
Ahh so glad it was helpful! Thanks for the good wishes, same to you!!💕

I gotta say even for just a stickers...it has A LOT of things you had to invest and money to put into, But just like you said start small. Imma actually try it out but ofc I just started I will try to make it little by little and start by small steps even if my customers are only 2 or 3 hehe.
Yayy! Good luck!!💕
