@@Nutellafuerst Big E was trying to break into the Webway, not destroy the warp. He figured punching holes into Hell for the purpose of travel was dangerous.
Normally Angron slander is funny when it’s just taking the piss, but not when it isn’t lore friendly. Angron was a butcher, yes. Angron would kill EVERYONE on whatever world he was sent to, yes. But don’t forget that the reason Angron was like this was SOLELY due to the butchers nails. Angrons original primarch passive ability was crazy empathy. He could take the pain from others. He did this to a gladiator on Nuceria so he could get a good nights sleep and eventually did it for all his gladiator homies. He originally was far closer to a pacifist than a warmonger who loves conquest like you’re presenting him. When Leman Russ pulled up on him and basically told him he needed to chill the fuck out, he explains this. He said something along the lines of “I do what I do because all I feel are the butchers nails, compelling me to violence. For every world I’m sent to crush who deserves it, there is another who simply wished to be left alone.” Then after Leman was like “cool, don’t care. You have to stop slaughtering people or I’ll do it myself 😡😡” Angron said something along the lines of; “If the emperor is going to put me out here, fighting for his tyrant headass, who took me from my people, who is no better than my old slave masters, I’m gonna have fun. Because I have NAILS IN MY FUCKING HEAD, the only way I can have any fun is if I’m murdering shit constantly” It’s pretty clear if you read angrons novels that the two reasons he murdered shit so indiscriminately was 1. He has NAILS IN HIS FUCKING BRAIN. 2. To say a big fuck you to daddy emperor. He murdered whole planets to spite the emperor and his crusade. He wanted nothing to do with that bullshit. Angron would be just as happy if he left the imperium and chose to fight orcs for the rest of his short life. He wanted to ensure that if the emperor was going to force him to fight for him, then the emperor would get very little out of it. He murdered whole worlds and destroyed their infrastructure so the emperor would be left with essentially worthless territory. He did what he did so he could make sure the emperor could never benefit from making him fight for him, from keeping him as a slave while preaching comforting lies to the rest of his brothers. And he succeeded. Whether Leman realized it or not, him telling Angron to chill only told Angron that his plan was working. He never gave a fuck about tactics. The nails made anything other than a leeroy Jenkins tier charge just as agonizing as not fighting at all. Angron was more than smart enough to recognize that he and his legion fought in the most predictable and easy to counter way possible: the straight up charge. He just doesn’t give a shit because he WANTS to die in battle. Even if Leman killed Angron, his soul would still consider it a win.
he also implanted his own legion with the butcher's nails...set a 31 hour law for his chapter to conquer a planet and when they failed, had 1 out of every 10 space marines KILLED by the other 9, dude, Angron was fucked and this defense is poor...Angron early migt have been more complex, but he quickly became a murder machine edit:also context for Leman and him meeting, this was AFTER the Ghenna massarce where Angron basically went ape mode and got told off by a portion of his legion, which he then slaughtered in cold blood...
There are indicators that Angron couldnt handle his empathy to begin with. The butchers nails just override his response to the stimuli and put him in constant misery. He is constantly overreacting to the feelings of others he recieves through his empathy. Also he enjoyed the crusade because the butchers nails have warped violence into his only emotional outlet. What he doesnt like is that he feels all the horror he is causing. His moralizing about it is just him throwing a tantrum. Big E gets that the nails have ruined angron and turned him into a berserk monster, which is why he doesnt care about using him in a way that would please angron. The nails will kill him or he will die in battle. Big E doesnt plan on keeping most of the primarchs around anyways, and he knows first hand that letting angron just sit idle is a good way to get Angron to start murdering imperial forces.
Angron's resentment over his crusader bros is also silly and just an example of angron not being able to control his emotions. He is overly attached to people that dont like him but are relying on him, and he takes that and gets them all killed. Big E only stepped in to save his science experiment before Angron got himself killed along with all the gladiators. This is also the greatest evidence towards Angron not trying to die in battle and just being incompentent. He isnt even capable of accurately measuring that kind of thing.
@@Luminousreign from my understanding, the nails affected him as strongly as they did because they were made for humans and crudely implanted on a primarchs Brain, which would be structured completely differently. They even had to cut out parts of his brain to make them fit. The crude implantation alongside the nails themselves stripped Angron of his primarch aura, and took away whatever empath powers he may have had. This doesn’t 100% guarantee that he never had issues with his powers bc this is Warhammer and adding more grimdark is always a vibe for Gm. Do you have any books that hint towards Angron having this problem? This is the first time hearing that theory so I wanted to check out the source material myself

What is the source that Corvus Corax was told of Chaos before everyone else? I forget which channel it was but it was known that one Primarch was trusted with the information before everyone else due to having a resistance to it but apparently was not named. Their guess was Lionel Johnson since he encountered a demon and told it to screw off while being trusted with tech that other Primarchs didn't even know about. @@Julian-vl7vn phoenix lords currently arent anywere near strong enough to have a hope in hell of getting far in slaneeshi's palace, they're barely on par with a greater demon, gotta be tougher than that by alot. Maybe if they got that gary stu grey knight stuck in the warp to help, assuming he hasn't fallen to chaos yet.
The sanguineous comment was perhaps the funniest thing I think I’ve heard you say since I’ve subscribed. And that was before you passed one mind syndicate. It was so perfect down to the letter and then the way you closed it brought me to tears. Well done! I didn’t think you get out do yourself.
I thought about idea for a video, if you were to switch planets two Primarchs were supposed to land on, what switch would give best results for Mandkind?
And which results would you personally want to go with?
Magnus and Lorgar
@@rashiqspencer6925 Oh we know what Magnus The Red will receive, his adoptive father's touch.
Would be interesting to switch kruze and sang, so similar in abilities but ended at two ends of spectrum Horus heresy or not
@@macaulaymcgregor768 Now i want this to happen, at least in some video what if story.
You think you can just show glimpses of areola and talk about Warhammer, and I’ll subscribe? Well, you’re right.
Ive got a mad theory right...
So you know how there is the hole thing of if the Emporer dies there is a backup plan? What if that backup plan is the two Primachs that are "missing" what if within the depths of the imperial palace there is two legions and two fresh Primarchs that are in some kind of coma waiting for the end of humanity...
Maybe a little far fetched but you never know. Would be pretty cool.
i’m high at 1 am and this sounds dope
if it weren't for Fulgrims genocide of the Laer, my homebrew chapter would not have a home planet lol
No matter how many times I hear "'ello guys and girl!", I can't help but smile and chuckle. Thanks for the consistently awesome content, Major!
Dark Age of technology Humans admiring the firepower of the Great Crusade … "yeh, we just pushed a button and our enemies dissolved".
Konrad - "I keep having these terrible nightmares of the worst possible things happening to my father and brothers, someone please help"
Rogal - "That's a paddlin"
I'm still pretty new to the channel so it feels pretty dope seeing a new vid.
Cool vid majorkill you should make a vid on what you think the roles of each primarch would be if they stayed loyal after the great crusade I know some other warhammer youtubers have that kind of video but your opinions but could be completely different I would love to see it
Y'know Big E not telling the primarchs about the warp is seen as him being a terrible father and also kinda dumb, but thinking about it, if those theories about them being made in part of warp spaghetti entities are accurate, then Big E's long term plan was probably for them to just die once humanity was able to cut itself off from dependency on the warp, and the primarchs were all pretty smart when they wanted to be, each of them could have pieced together that they were marching for their own demise if that was the true ultimate plan.
I dont think humanity can do that, can it? The Necron Pariah Nexus blocks out the warp, and the effects on humans arent pleasant.
@@Nutellafuerst Big E was trying to break into the Webway, not destroy the warp. He figured punching holes into Hell for the purpose of travel was dangerous.
@@koatam yeah, but Primarchs have been to the webway and were fine.
@@Nutellafuerst yes, but all the webway entrances are controlled by the Eldar. Big E wanted his own.
I think they must’ve had greater purposes else why make them so diverse. 20 legions of ultramarines would be more efficient for simple conquest
Well I imagine that The Foundation could probably take the Imperium on. For the same reason I imagine an anteater could beat an ant.
That is a nice shirt. I love these Primarch videos. It shows that they are different people and personalities.
Do a Cawl and Alpha Primus video! Dude is wild
About time you described konrad better. He was a good tool for the crusade. With the best tactics.
Kinda wanna know about the peaceful xenos who got asked to join the imperium now, I had no idea they were a thing
3:03 Perturabo is also mad that Big E chose Rogal Dorn to be the Praetor of Terra and build the Imperial Palace over him.
7:39 Hence, TTS Throne Emperor loved His Fabulous Hawkboy and missed him so much He is resorted to eat Ork mushrooms so He can see Sanguinius again.
I always found it funny that the Emperor was basically trying to do a speed run of galactic conquest, even if He had legitimate reasons.
5:43 TTS Rogal Dorn: "I was something beyond furious."
Love your videos man! Keep up the awesome work. Also, damnit just missed the bronze spot of earlier comments XD.

For every world I’m sent to crush who deserves it, there is another who simply wished to be left alone.”
Then after Leman was like “cool, don’t care. You have to stop slaughtering people or I’ll do it myself 😡😡” Angron said something along the lines of;
“If the emperor is going to put me out here, fighting for his tyrant headass, who took me from my people, who is no better than my old slave masters, I’m gonna have fun. Because I have NAILS IN MY FUCKING HEAD, the only way I can have any fun is if I’m murdering shit constantly”
It’s pretty clear if you read angrons novels that the two reasons he murdered shit so indiscriminately was 1.
+1 for being lore accurate
he also implanted his own legion with the butcher's nails...set a 31 hour law for his chapter to conquer a planet and when they failed, had 1 out of every 10 space marines KILLED by the other 9, dude, Angron was fucked and this defense is poor...Angron early migt have been more complex, but he quickly became a murder machine
edit:also context for Leman and him meeting, this was AFTER the Ghenna massarce where Angron basically went ape mode and got told off by a portion of his legion, which he then slaughtered in cold blood...
Xeno’s would be fine if they just listened. All they had to do was bend the knee to the Emperor!
2 videos in 2 days ! Perfect after work relaxation 👌🏼 any chance we could see a video about the fall of cadia ? Or have I missed one you’ve already done ?
I thought Fulgrim kept the Eldar planets to himself so he and his legion could pleasure themselves in Paradise?
You know that the video is serious when Majorkill is wearing an Apron
Majorkill is never gonna forgive Vulkan for burning that Eldar kiddo

Imperium: "Hahahahahahahaha! Oh wait you're serious? *THEN LET ME LAUGH EVEN HARDER! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"*
Isn't it funny how people derive self-worth and sense of power from fictional states and their victories?
The Tyranids: "A million planets are under your control, you say, Imperium of Mankind? That is what we ate for breakfast in many of the other galaxies we ravaged." Although, it has to be said, to most humans it would sound like this: "Hisss, hisss, click, clack, hissssssss, clack click, hisss!"
Wow, this really uploaded just as I was heading to bed. Why do you upload at one am for your timezone?
Not into warhammer 4000 but got to respect the lore in these games books and tabletop its pretty cool
I would let ferrus punch me in the balls for that Dark angels helment
This has to be the 1st MajorKill video that mentions Angron without mentioning the butcher's nails in his brain.
Flower Boy killing Ferrus in Isstvan V is the most absurd fight in the whole heresy
Always looking forward to your next upload
Love the Kylie too! Very “can’t get you out of my head”

Idea for a topic. What relics from our time have survived into the 41st millennium? There are some mentions of Mt Rushmore in the USA.
Ah AMBER HEARD THE SECOND PRIMARCH OF THE BROWN BEDSHEEY LEGIONARYS
Angron's empathy was his biggest strength and his biggest weakness.
Who do you think would win in a war?
humanity at its peak or the eldar at their peak
considering how weak the eldar are portrayed by GW, a named guardsman let alone a named space marine could take down their entire empire at its zenith.
Eldar probably due to magic
Curze had the best opinion and approach to the crusade. Fight me.
we know you are a bloke barry stop catfishing neckbeards for the lols
11th, I can get my prize now! I'll even beat up Timmy! Btw next drunk live stream is when? Soo much fun hanging with u bro!
*looks at Fulgrim* I got a feeling there were a lot more species of abhuman before the Great Crusade...
Alpharius can't die, for we are Alpharius.

Love the constant uploads
Would love more books about this time period tbh
Video idea (every factions second in command) like chapter master and so on
Totally watched the video before commenting
Can you do a video on the dark age tech the dark angels had access to??
Sanguineous is so awesome. He was definitely the coolest primarch.
"And others were just massive arseholes..."
*everyone looks at Angron*
Ngl i would love to hear custodes little stories for live
Why WAS the Emperor in such a rush to get everything united so quickly? Was it the Webway project?
Just realized that angron story is pretty similar to berserk
Majors rocking that Greek philosopher look.
And the other 2 primarchs thought that "Bing chilling" and dabbing is still funny and thus died
My guess was Corax given that he was trusted by the Emperor with the assets of the Primarch project in an effort to rebuild his legion (before the Alpha Legion screwed it up). He also did embrace the Warp like none other Primarch, particularly any other loyalist.
