Josie-O - Clawhammer Baritone Banjo and Guitar
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 жов 2024
- My good buddy Mike and I have some shows together coming up, so we met up to brush off the ol tunes. Here's Josie-O, which I learned from an Art Stamper recording. Played here in the key of D on account of stringing the banjo up with low classical guitar strings. Tuning is dADF#A. Maybe fiddle players will enjoy playing along to try an old tune in a new way in D?

Make a person wanna bounce
Nice! That's the goal!
love that sound Benny...I have a deep 12" this would work for...what strings/gauges did you use?
Strings 1, 3, 4, 5 all come from a D'Addario Folk Black Nylon classical guitar pack. 4=A string, 3=D string, 1=B string tuned to A, 5 = E string tuned to d. The 2nd string is the middle string of an aquila banjo nylon set tuned to F#. So the whole banjo is in open D: dADF#A
Bagus sekali 👍
terima kasih!
What a rad song! What’s the banjo tuned to?
It's relative to standard G tuning. but tuned down do the D below. So: dADF#A
Why do so many claw-boys wear a beard ?
