Dragonbolt blessing actually great for player that enjoy using shield because with this on even your medium shield can bounce some attack like a greatshield minus the guard boost
The prince of death's pustule and cyst prevent you from dying quickly to enemy attacks because of the vitality boost which causes a larger boost than leveling arcane but I'm not sure how much.
Honestly Law of Regression on a pure caster is one of the most busted things you can do. Take away everyone's ability to buff while you can still buff and it fits flawlessly into your build.
law of regression won't be nearly as good when we get undead matches where both players get equal flasks. the reason it's "good" right now is because when the host uses their fp it matters less because they have more blue flasks. the real place where it shines is when someone has a weird build that totally relies on buffing. then it slaps but usually just an fp trade.
Blessing of the Erdtree has been one of my favourites since the moment I found it. Ive always loved playing health regen tank builds because I prioritize PVE

blessing of the erdtree's regen alone isn't much, but there are other regen sources too where it becomes pretty awesome. for NG+, i'm making a regen based faith/str build and it's pretty silly. i've got a fully upgraded great stars hammer that heals 15 hp per hit, the blessed dew talisman that regens 2hp per sec, stacked with the icon shield that regens 12 per sec. that can also be buffed by the blessing of the erdtree incant which heals another 12 hp per sec. the last regen that can stack is the crimson burst wondrous physick for 7 hp per sec. fully buffed, you can be passively regenerating 33 hp per second while pumping another 15 per hit into that. if you're wearing the assassin's crimson dagger talisman too, you get 10% +85 hp on critical, which is really easy to accomplish by turtling behind the icon shield and pulling of a guard counter with a huge weapon like the great stars. beef up endurance to wear the heaviest armor you can and it's pretty ridiculous how little you have to heal.
It should be noted that you can chain cast two of the beast incantations into each other in the same way you can with many spells, them namely being Beastial Fling and Stone of Gurranq. A really good mixup is to do the Fling into the Stone. Often times if they're hit with the fling, they won't react to the slight difference in timing the stone has. Obviously you can do it the other way around too.
i love watching you guys and your funny videos. A bit off topic on this video but what happened to death blight? Can you do a death blight build video? I know it does not have many options to build around it but those death scenes are so epic.
I like this video. I don't have a very buffable build, and I'm pretty much always pure melee, especially in PvP, so I use Law of Regression all the time and it's one of my favorite spells. You don't actually need a single point of faith for that one though, it costs 37 int and the frenzyflame seal requires no stats
People never use blessing of the erdtree?? Really? I love that incantation~! So many fights I've been able to pull through just because I was getting the 12 health per second
@@Badgerman19 I mean I do feel it's decent for pvp since it's supper flashy and such many players will panick but as soon as the illusion is pulled on just how bad it is your just giving them a healing or damage period. I see Law of Regression all the time in PVP and it's always so infuriating. It's gotten to the point where if my opponent doesn't immediately buff, I save my Physick because I KNOW they're just gonna wipe my other buffs.
Dragonbolt blessing is amazing im many scenarios but even stronger when getting cornered by adds or when you are getting comboed by birds or dogs. Not many scenarios in the game when lightning is used against you.
Law of Regression will get you blocked in casual pvp and the incantation will probably be banned in most community driven pvp events. Not saying I agree with this but the salt is THICK when it comes to it. Granted, if you’re like me and don’t wanna deal with people coming into a dual with every buff in the game attached to them, being blocked by those people isn’t a loss lol
For the people that waste 30 seconds stacking buffs upon buff I'll totally do this to them. 1-2 buffs is fine. Maybe 3 depending on what they are. But if you're buffing for longer than the duration of a match, you're getting LoR'd.
@@kennyhouser3467 Ive been pvping in souls since OG Demons' Souls and the unwritten rules are a legitimate thing for the dueling community, but people that try to twist things to fit what *THEY* prefer(eg. Basically the rules are just whatever is allowed in arenas from every other game, it's placeholder until we get arena pvp. That's it. It's extremely simple.
Elden Stars looks great for pvp if you can get it off. For all the reasons you mentioned. The pressure it puts on, let's you roll in and deliver the death blows while they dodge the small dmg spell. 🙏

Dragonbolt blessing actually great for player that enjoy using shield because with this on even your medium shield can bounce some attack like a greatshield minus the guard boost
Even if you're using a colossal to get in some guard counters.
I love how the firegiant's incantations are all named like they are exclamations.
In pvp i always use laws of regression when i see them glowing, most folks have no idea what happened to their buffs. lol
Wait a minute. I clicked on a top 8 optional bosses list O.o
Dragon bolt Blessing is a godsend. It’s so damn good since most people dual wield. I won’t PvP without it.
I use and love law of regression....... Every time I get it off I can't help but laugh
So many builds to test out and tweek still!! some skill-set loadout slots could be a huge help in my situation!! There must be a mod for that!
Man throwing boulders on bosses does feel good
Love your content
Howl of Shabriri synergizes great with the Black Pudding helmet. Black Pudding gives you a 20 percent damage buff when inflicted with madness.
Stone of Gurranq is straight up my fav spell in the game. It just feels so satisfying. It's prty fast cast too!
law of regression won't be nearly as good when we get undead matches where both players get equal flasks. the reason it's "good" right now is because when the host uses their fp it matters less because they have more blue flasks. the real place where it shines is when someone has a weird build that totally relies on buffing. then it slaps but usually just an fp trade.
Blessing of the Erdtree has been one of my favourites since the moment I found it. Ive always loved playing health regen tank builds because I prioritize PVE
Instead of Using Erdtree's Blessing (w/ its Huge FP Cost)
Or Beastial Vigor (w/ it's Tiny Amount of Very Slow Regen)
I Personally Like Using The:
"Warming Stone" Craftable Item!!!
It's Only draw-back, Is the fact You have² stand next²it ⁴it ²work.. BUT!! It Regens a Huge Amount of Health. &Does It Quickly!
Faster than anything else that I've seen in the game!!
&The WarmingStones don't even require any special items ²Craft!!
... They are what I have been using as often as possible. Instead of (&²SaveOn) My Flasks.
[.. Also; (OfCourse) Your Not Even Just Stuck ²the "10" You Can Carry @Once in your Inventory Slot. You can Craft as many as you have ingredients for. @Almost any time.
So Pesonally. I Use them VERY liberally
&CraftUm On demand as needed]
Using all 10 spell slots sucks when you have to cycle through to find the one you need. I really wish we could bind 4 to the Triangle + hotkeys.
blessing of the erdtree's regen alone isn't much, but there are other regen sources too where it becomes pretty awesome. for NG+, i'm making a regen based faith/str build and it's pretty silly. i've got a fully upgraded great stars hammer that heals 15 hp per hit, the blessed dew talisman that regens 2hp per sec, stacked with the icon shield that regens 12 per sec. that can also be buffed by the blessing of the erdtree incant which heals another 12 hp per sec. the last regen that can stack is the crimson burst wondrous physick for 7 hp per sec.
fully buffed, you can be passively regenerating 33 hp per second while pumping another 15 per hit into that. if you're wearing the assassin's crimson dagger talisman too, you get 10% +85 hp on critical, which is really easy to accomplish by turtling behind the icon shield and pulling of a guard counter with a huge weapon like the great stars. beef up endurance to wear the heaviest armor you can and it's pretty ridiculous how little you have to heal.
PvP right now is like Goku letting his opponents power up for 3 episodes. One cast of Law of Regression and DBZ would have been a 10 episode series.
i love watching you guys and your funny videos.
Didn’t know it was 25% damage buff
I’m still really hopeful that they will buff elden stars damage soon because it just doesn’t do enough for a two slot incantation
You mean doesn't do enough for the casting time, damage mana or slots or high faith requirement. Yea know as soon as they fix all that it may be good.
@@christianlangdon3766 yup that about sums it up
@@Badgerman19 I mean I do feel it's decent for pvp since it's supper flashy and such many players will panick but as soon as the illusion is pulled on just how bad it is your just giving them a healing or damage period. Still love how almost all the best faith spells need subpar 30 faith or so and everything above 40 is kinda straight up bad damage wise.
You want to go against a bunch of mini elden beasts? No thank you.
@@xela4854 I mean they may be cute really small since elden beast is almost derpy looking.
Very nice video can we get the same for sourceries next lol
I knew about Law of Regression's Debuff and Buff Removal already since I'm an Int/Faith Mix Player
Somebody's proud
@@necridos Yeah, it is just funny how many I had just leave because I took all their Buffs away xD
very nice entering and video
Can’t believe you can use two seals at once. That is awesome for gravel stone and spamming lightning bolts.
Blessing of the erd tree is one of my main spells exactly for the reasons u said
Yo wtf I was literally looking up best incantations and this video posted 39 minutes ago in the search page lol
I love using law of regression in pvp, absolute favorite spell
Elden Stars is great for pvp.
It kerp pressure on while you are keeping pressure on. If you keep it up the nuke will finish the job.
I use it all the time. It pairs great with Greyol's roar.
I recently found out that the ice dragon breath is actually pretty good. Used it against a putrid tree dragon and it kept flinching from the frost
In terms of dragon breaths the general rule is...
1. Always use named breaths unless you're needing to ride your mount.
2. The order for best to use is generally rot>glintstone>ice>fire>magma.
3. For physical roar>maw>claw
2:42 * Shows a rare kind of player in duels... *_THE CHEWGER_*
Too afraid to die... chugs on 1v1 duels as like no tomorrow, and then points down if for ANY reason manage to win.
worst duelist ever
Ah yes, the best incantation.
a rock.. a big rock.
I have 500 Hours+ in Elden Ring and never knew you could get the Golden Order Principia so easy. My Friends and i always jumped from the railing. And we failed so often it was a real pain in the As*. Well the more you know..... xD
I see Law of Regression all the time in PVP and it's always so infuriating. It's gotten to the point where if my opponent doesn't immediately buff, I save my Physick because I KNOW they're just gonna wipe my other buffs.
Imagine any anime character that powers up and just do Law of Regression they're back to their base form.
Dragonbolt blessing is amazing im many scenarios but even stronger when getting cornered by adds or when you are getting comboed by birds or dogs. Not many scenarios in the game when lightning is used against you.
I wanna some cavemen taking on pvp and enjoying fire
Sweat lords get pissy. Let them stew in their little group of 2 dozen people whinging about "honor" and following mUh UnWrItTeN rUlEs.
@@kennyhouser3467 Ive been pvping in souls since OG Demons' Souls and the unwritten rules are a legitimate thing for the dueling community, but people that try to twist things to fit what *THEY* prefer(eg. No status effects, no magic other than buffs, no katanas, no physik, etc.) are fucking stupid and I'll gladly piss them off.
Basically the rules are just whatever is allowed in arenas from every other game, it's placeholder until we get arena pvp. That's it. It's extremely simple.
Some guy online told me about law of regression haven’t removed it from the slot since
Think the Erdtree Blessing incantation works on the mimics? That'd be a bit OP lol
its funny when you use blessing of the erdtree on those no vigor chads the healing looks very op xd
Elden Stars looks great for pvp if you can get it off. For all the reasons you mentioned. The pressure it puts on, let's you roll in and deliver the death blows while they dodge the small dmg spell. 🙏
the weapon art of the beast hammer at +9 does about 1500 damage I know it's not an incantation I just never see anyone use it.
Theres a few of these im thinking of picking up.
Howl of Shabriri is awesome. With my build I can get my consecutive attack AR up to 5,007.
Im about to change my buff from fire grant me strength to Howl of Shabriri until I realized im on journey 6. Ooof.
I rly only use support incantations but I’m still here anyway lol
I'm pretty sure blessing of the erdtree does more than the gradual heal effect
This dude sounds like the guy that did those death battle videos.
Wait so howl of Shibari and Flame Grant Me Strength dont stack?
Correct. They overwrite each other.
Question: if i use These Incantations in this order. Am i doing it wrong ?
Golden Vow - Blessing of the Erdtree - Protection of the Erdtree - Barrier of Gold - Black Flame’s Protection - Flame, Grant Me Strength.
Your voice always reminds me of magic mirror in Shrek 1... When he is listing off the available women. Very "game show" sounding :)
Id say Blessing of the erdtree is outclassed by bestial vitality since its cost is far lower and quicker to cast. Blessing only shines in co-op.
Bv is 5hp/s
Erdtree is 12hp/s
Definitely the messiah of Elden Ring got 2 new incantations trying to get strong like you 💪🔥🔥💪.
Elden Stars is still not really worth the time or FP though, like I literally would rather cast ANY of the dragon incants.
The rest I agree with and will probably look into using most of these, was already using blessing of the Erdtree, but Stone seems more useable then I thought originally.
literally just got dragon bolt blessing and used it and was like..why is no one using this?
