Very interesting fight . My heart is all for Stipe but my mind is for Jones. Hard not to bet on jones here given his history and stipes age, but there’s a catch here. Many people are saying Francis would be a harder fight than Stipe. That’s true in some ways and not true in others. Stipe has much more experience in different aspects of mma than Francis but Francis obviously has the strength and raw knockout power. I could see Jon finishing Francis in a similar way to Cyril, not as fast but he doesn’t have as much experience in different positions that we have seen anyway. If Stipe puts on 20 lbs of muscle and can still maintain stamina for five rounds, this has the potential to be legendary. I highly doubt Jones will knockout Stipe. I could see Jones submitting him or winning a decision . Probably a decision or else Stipe knocks out Jones. Stipe has heavy hands everyone always forgets about. I can’t wait for this fight and I really hope Stipe puts his everything into this camp. Stipes just a regular dude who kicks everyone’s asses, I hope he wins . Imagine how big of an upset it would be if Stipe wins one way or another.
I think Jones completely destroys Stipe. Stipe doesn’t have the body gain 20 lbs. Jones had the length to get bigger and not lose much speed. Stipe is already pushing the balance between being as heavy as you can while being fit. And against Stipe, Jones has his huge reach advantage back against a older fighter who is on a huge KO loss. Given that Jones now tasted a fast finish against a real heavyweight, I think he is going to finish Stipe in round one as well.
Your bias stipe gonna get finished ✔️ prime either way 😂 Francis way hard cause he’s so strong and fast plus now has experience y’all sleep cause of bias
I love Stipe, but I am the same age as him, and pushing yourself to the limits at 40 (he will be nearly 41) is a lot harder than pushing yourself to the limit at 35. Those extra 6 years of mileage take their toll. I wish him all the best, but I don't see him beating Jones.

Damn right he looked mad because he should’ve been the one to fight Jon for the title. But instead the ufc gave Jones the easy win against the guy who can't wrestle to boost his legacy. But Stipe did this to himself by not speaking up and standing up for himself.
@@dontbsalty4138 let’s be honest….UFC (Dana) did this as a big F U to Francis…..for whatever reason, they couldn’t come to a deal where Francis fought Jon, so now Francis looks like a weak champ because the guy that took him 5 rounds and gave him trouble, just got beat midway through the first round easily by Jon.

Great match up on paper but we just saw what Jones did to the number 1 contender who’s 3 years younger than jon. Stipe will be 5.. possibly 6 years older than jones. Hope he can still do his thing but I got a feeling like jon really puts a pace on stipe with his kicks and the high output single shot variance. It’s one thing running from Francis who can only swing his hands, Jon jones picking him apart will be something he’s never seen in his career, goes the same way the chael fight does imo.
Stipe is the only fighter in heavyweight division that’s experienced enough to beat jones he has all the most important tools mindset, experience and toughness I still favor jones but matchup wise stipe is super hard to takedown and him lifting heavy will help with this matchup 6040 in favor of jones but I wouldn’t bet on this fight

No, we learned more about Jon. Gane was given handpicked strikers to make him look even more formidable. Francis laid the blueprint to beat Gane, and Jones basically sent him back to the undercard. Gane cannot deal with any elite grappler in the heavyweight division. His wrestling as always been suspect, we’ve learned about Jones improved grappling. How he moves with the added weight and muscle
@@vineezyproductions9638 not arguing brother but which is it, was it because Gane had zero grappling or because Jon is such a great grappler? It’s one or the other and I think you and I agree. Now Jon appears, and Stipe has always believed he would beat Jon, so it makes sense for him to be speaking up now.

All love but Ariel was especially annoying in this one... Stop trying to stir up drama dude!!!
We haven't seen Heavyweight Jones in a stand-up battle. Would love to see that in this fight and see how he squares up!
Yea.. flashbacks to the reyes fight?
His striking looked awkward as hell in the Gane fight

@@therealshamx yeah fair call
It's risky to bet on Stipe as he has been knocked out pretty bad; I doubt he can take too many punches now; his time has passed

Ariel needs and must be doing these interviews. You have to have these questions asked and it’s so funny how this guy didn’t give anything we wanted to hear but he’s still the man 😅

Stipe looked so angry at the PPV.
I'm excited for the fight.
Angry cause he knows as long as Johnny bones jones is still breathing he ain't ever gettin that belt back
Damn right he looked mad because he should’ve been the one to fight Jon for the title.
@@dontbsalty4138 if you’re as inactive as he has been you have to wait your turn, Cyril has been more active so he got the shot. Don’t say Jones took 3 years off too cause he was bulking and getting ready. Only stipes fault he wasn’t fighting

It's a testament to Stipe's abilities that even at 40 years old we consider him to be a viable threat. If this was Stipe from five or six years ago, forget it, Jones would get his head ripped off his spinal column. But Stipe's old now and he hasn't fought in a while, which makes me wonder.
Youre delusional and only saying that because its impossible to see. How would he destroy him? You forget jones isn't in his prime either. Hard to tell how good Jones is after the way that guy laid down for him.
He didn't lie down, it's called not being mentally prepared. Jon went in there to win, and Gane went into the fight trying not to lose, very big differences.
This will be the second time this guy gets an immediate title rematch after being knocked out. I don’t think it’s fair (especially now after being gone nearly 3 years) he gets to leapfrog the HW division especially when there are others that probably stand a better chance against jones than him.
Incredible how stipe said that he wasnt blown away from jon jones performance in finishing cyril by submission..come on guy!!! Be humble..and he's annoyed by ariel cz he probably heard ariel praising jon jones before he came out to the interview
Idk man jon coudnt even put away reyes
Simple guy, goat of heavyweight🔥💯 say what you want
Stipe is the only fighter in heavyweight division that’s experienced enough to beat jones he has all the most important tools mindset, experience and toughness I still favor jones but matchup wise stipe is super hard to takedown and him lifting heavy will help with this matchup 6040 in favor of jones but I wouldn’t bet on this fight
Jon’s only path to victory against Gane was to grab him and take him down. He did that early and got the sub. Against Stipe, I don’t see a sure path. Stipe has good wrestling and solid hands with KO power.

We learned more about Gane than Jon on Saturday
Yup. Gane never even considered fighting the hands.
@@sallgoodman2323 it’s not even that… he trains with lesser opponents to “win” instead of being in the trenches like Jones says.. with better grapplers… he trains too pretty
Yeah…Gane needs to change fight camp. He looked defeated in that octagon before the fight started.
@@vineezyproductions9638 not arguing brother but which is it, was it because Gane had zero grappling or because Jon is such a great grappler? It’s one or the other and I think you and I agree. My point is that when a black rolls with a white belt and subs him in 2min we learn nothing of the black belt’s skills because he fought a guy out of his class. We learn about Jon’s HW grappling when he fights Stipe who can grapple
