- Back to the drawing-board on this one I'm afraid. :(
This has started to turn around, I went to the local hospital in it last week and with the back wheel almost locked in place and manoeuvring on mainly two wheels it was very capable. Climbed a 5" curb with no problems. Will do an "in action" video soon combining my new hobby of drone flying so I am going to try and find a BMX track locally and film it from the air :0
It's terrific that you are trying new things. Keep it up! That's the best way to learn.

Some further testing has revealed the problem. It was my wife that told me the rear wheel was bending and as it was behind me I couldn't see it.
But it felt like it was to me also. But it wasn't, what it is doing is the large "rake angle" is shifting the rear wheel so far from centre it starts to fall over. Which is not what you want when faced with a hill.
Today I went out in the garden with the rear wheel locked in place and it was pretty good.
How do you turn it?????
The balance whilst I'm on it is just right that I can spend all my time on just the two large wheels.
Further experimenting needed all is not lost. ;)
I think you have more angle between the frame and rear wheel fork, like a bike.
I have just about got it working now. Though I do spend a lot of time on just 2 wheels as it is so easy to balance on them.
I also will make similar wheelchair for myself. will use some part of the Mini velo bike, what a front wheel, a fork and a frame.
your middle tube should be a triangle. (not just a single tube) so weld 2 other sides from each front-wheel-axle back to the steering-tube (on each side) to make it a triangle . that one can not bend.
actually your construction flexes, rather than bends. (rotates around your single tube) the triangle will prevent this.

This guy is still alive😉 That project is finished for me I got arthritis in my left elbow and thumb. But I'm not finished modding. Got an illegal escooter registered as a mobility scooter that can go off road. Complete with number plate and road tax👍
