A good well made Jason mask that I wouldn't really wear really just display. The package looks nice anuff to keep the mask in and display as is. this also is one of my favorite looks to Jason.

This is probably neca's best effort. I made my own after seeing how Big Hush makes them, used some of his ideas. I used movie stills to match the paint and scratches, lined them up. It came out looking awesome and pretty accurate

This doesnt stop me from being mad at neca, i love your chanel but when i bought my part 3 neca mask everything was good until it fell from my display stand and shatered like glass, regret waisting 30 bucks but i learned my lesson to be more careful next time, oh wait there wont be a next time cause the first one broke then the second one will, thanks for your content review spot, love watching these videos.

I’m not a Freddy or Jason guy but must admit this would look pretty cool in a Halloween themed display.

Breaks super easy.
I have this mask, but the blood doesn't look nearly as good, and it's a yellow color. I bought it back in 2015-2016. Maybe that's why. Maybe they increased the quality since then.
Litterally just ordered this while watching this video... can't wait. Final chapter is my favorite slasher of all time.

Jason preferred the heavier resin mask vs the fiberglass because he anticipated the possibility of getting hit in the head with an axe or machete.
You should get a crash creations part 3 or 4. Just way way better. And won't crack if you drop it.

How did you open the back so well without damaging the box itself? I've wanted to open it to feel the mask itself, but I'm terrified that I won't be able to put it all back together as a display

My advice would be to make a custom strap for your NECA Jason masks if you plan on wearing them on Halloween because the strap it comes with is uncomfortable and is just an inaccurate design
Idk I think they’re pulling a fast one by claiming it’s cast from the part 4 mask 🤔 pretty sure the only surviving part 4 mask is also the one they used in the part 5 hallucination scenes “the mask with the visible screws holding the straps on” they had to use screws because they took the snaps off for the Roy mask castings. There’s a whole blog about mask lineage it’s pretty interesting!

Neca Updated The Jason Part 3 and 4 Masks A Bit , One Of Said Updates Being The Color. Then Older Part 3 And 4 Masks Were More Much More Yellow , Now ( As Seen In This Review ) They Changed The Colors Up A Bit To Be A Bit More Realistic.

Hey Spot, any plans on picking up the re-release of the Part V Hock? By the way, that Final Chapter Mask is a reissue and it’s painted a lot better than it’s original release. Believe this mask is the same mold as the NECA Part III.
Does the NES mask have 2 metal plugs or are they just painted to look metallic?
Honestly not a fan of the NECA mask. Seems too wide, the weathering is very minimal regarding the scratches and chunks of missing paint, and the resin breaks WAY too easily. The best thing bout this mask is the straps and the blood. I feel one would be better off taking a JDF blank and painting it up themselves
It may not be screen accurate but its a pretty good entry for its price point.

Would this mask be too heavy to hang on the rear passenger headrest in a car?
The only negative I have read about the neca masks is they are quite fragile.
If you hang it on the wall, you might end up breaking the mask itself

Also the shape of the mask is closer to the maks used in Freddy vs Jason

Yes you can. I have a Neca Freddy Vs Jason mask. But the holes inside the mask dip towards where your face would be which isnt very comfortable but still wearable
