I think it’s from all the rain we get and lots of clay in the ground so water stays in the top 1ft of the ground. All the house gutter drain pipes just go to lawn. I noticed when a new neighbor moved in on that side next door 2 years ago he diverted his gutter down pipe to the fence line and the result was my front yard beside that slab started pooling water all the time. That’s when I noticed a rapid sinking of the slab. I talked to the niehbour and he has since had drainage done and the water diverted properly. That’s why I decided to try this fix now that hopefully what I think was the problem is fixed now. Thanks for watching.
