My last tablet was the iPad 2 back in 2011. Its fate was exactly as Google said: stuffed in a drawer, forgotten for years. Love what they did with this. It's the first tablet I actually use!
My galaxy fold 3 literally replaced my need to use my tablet. The unfolded screen is big enough for me to watch movies, play games, etc., so I never need to carry a second device. The Galaxy folds are so underrated!
How is it holding up? Did you have to trade it in?
"hey baby" = best way around the "hey Google" problem I've seen, love it
ha thank you!
That sounds sad
@@allnighteristi am! 😅
@@CherlynnLow oh cher.. i wish you well 🙏🏻
i love the idea and thinking about to get one
Really great idea the dock. Hope they finally implement the desktop mode in Android 14. This setup with keyboard, mouse and a stylus would be perfect.
The docks are really dumb for $120. I think they should be somewhere around $50 each. For $120 I expected a Nest Mini competitor which doubles as a dock.
these Google devices are not repairable. they are actually disposable. and AUE is another scary thing about these.
As a Star Wars fan I would love it if I could activate the assistant with “hello there”
General Kenobi!
any luck trying lightRoom on tablet ? how's the performance ?
I believe the just-released Google Home script editor allows you to create automations that play on a specific device... but that's obviously only for power users, so definitely not ideal
i'm actually very tempted to use it! but I did ask Google about setting what device plays in response to a command and they did not point me to the script editor, only confirming that it wasn't available yet. But I'll go check to see if it's doable!
That 80$ for just a case was a deal breaker for me. I skipped buying the whole tablet
Great video! Does it also have offline transcription feature like in Pixel 6/Pro?
You share a lot of insights here. I watched all of this great video.
aw thank you!!
I want one for my kitchen. =)
that's a great place for it!
I can cast to my Google Nest Hub display.
Thank you for your review, it explains very well how this device works in real life and is perfect feedback for us users!
Pixel Tablet or Lenovo p12 Pro.
I have a painful dilemma. I don't know what to choose because, at the same price, I have awesome hardware lacking in software (Lenovo) and mid/low hardware but with decent software (Pixel tablet). They are the same price, I love the Pixel phone, watch, and earbuds but when I see that the Pixel tablet is the same price as Lenovo, my pocket hurts ;_;
Awesome
😂 great work 👍👏
ha thank you!
I need this for my elderly parents. They need a dumb machine. But it needs a 14.5 inch screen and keyboard and mouse. A large tablet is what most seniors need. Small screens is bad for eyesight and bad posture.
Thanks for the review, I cannot get the little home button to display on mine when it is in the lock screen. I don’t know if anyone else is having this issue or how to fix?
Settings > Hub Mode > Show device controls
@@HigherQualityUploads thanks for the reply greatly appreciated, on mine. This is greyed out for some strange reason don’t suppose you know how to get it turned on?
@@TobyParker Did you set up the Home app on your tablet?
@@HigherQualityUploads Yes the tablet has the home app and i can see they devices I have even added the dock to the living room (where it is located) I was adding this device to the living room to replace the small google hub that i have currently. It does everythign except show the little house Icon when locked and on the dock. I am thinking that I may have to factory reset and start again?
@@TobyParker What region are you in?
Your very "what" bedroom? 😉😬🤫
Okay!

$80 for a case is too much.
Your too much!
SHE'S BACK 😁🤩😍🥰Withouth Cher😘 my Gadget life will be empty SUPERSTAR AT HER BEST ...'Hey Baby I'm home" 😁😁😁 we simply love you 😁🤩🤩
🤣🤣🤣
Why do you keep implying for years and years that Android tablets are all but dead? Samsung has been making incredibly good tablets for many many years. They have Wacom quality styli included, great screens, fantastic sound, excellent multitasking, Dex, superb build quality, . . . It may be true that the other brands are struggling when it comes to tablets. But if you want an iPad you only have one brand to choose from right? So why is that a problem with Android? If you're into the Google \ Android ecosystems like we are then Samsung tablets work incredibly well.
Because it's not a fruit product 🤷♂️
I sooo agree. I have owned Google tablets. And I got mad when they stopped supporting them. So the last 2 tablets I bought were Samsung. Excellent tablets.
Hey bae
First 👍
Google is BAD at audio quality on tablets why can a cheap unheard of brand install better tablet speakers rhan google?
The Pixel tablet has too big of chin, forehead...
I hate her reviews. She always finds something to complain about with Google products. I have pretty much all of the Pixel hardware, and I have no issues with any of it.
Leave her alone, goon

Shes terrible, I agree
so basically, Google's usual BS with tablets. :(
