I will pick one of these up when they go Google does one of its occasional price drops. I very much enjoy the Graphene OS experience on my Pixel 6a which I bought for a song. Saw a video the other day demonstrating how Graphene OS is placed on the Google Tablet; it's an identical procedure apart from the special version made ofr tablets. I enjoy using my iPad, but a Graphene tablet is more my style.
Can you please tell me which Mac I should purchase for my grandson he takes videos in 4K and then needs to edit them on the laptop which one do you think would be best I'm asking in this video because it's the most recent video so I'm hoping that you can get back to me. Thank you.

I got it and I really am enjoying it, and I agree with you when you said that the tablet space because they put all their innovation into phones and now phones have gotten stale in my opinion. But now this was the first tablet I've seen in years that made me actually want to get it. So I got it and I have had it for about 2 weeks and I'm loving it.

That Pixel is an intriguing device, and very tempting. However, I'm deeply mired in the Apple ecosystem except for smart hubs, and I think Alexa is the best of the bunch (I have three Echo devices).
Depends where you're located. Here in Belgium Alexa is of little use because it not optimized. You couldnt even buy one until recently. I brought my Alexa show from the states because it works with my ring doorbell 😂

You rambled the nail on the head with this one. It is a family console, right now we are so lucky to have iPad Pros.... but I have 3 grandkids and one on the way, when they come visit we always have to hide our tablets, toddlers and 5-year-olds are so curious... We have two "kid" friendly tablets, but the kids keep fighting over them (not that they need a nap - lol).

(I'm a Mac man - I use Google Hubs until such time Apple release something that has a screen and talks to Nest Cameras through Matter)
I picked one of these up last week to replace a Google Hub Max, there's lots of software bugs that prevent the 'Dock Mode' from being a replacement. Google's own Nest Hello Doorbell doesn't work, and ideally it needs to be recognised as a hub in Google Home for it to be a true replacement. As a tablet, I can't fault it. It's always charged up and displays pretty pictures when docked. Get the Hub software in line with the rest of the Google Hub software, and they'll sell loads more as a true Hub Max alternative with a load more features.
Today, I'd give it 7/10. Fix the software and it's a 10/10.

Great review, but I don’t see a reason to get one for my family. My entire home is to deep into the Apple ecosystem. I truly wish Apple would come out with something similar. I would see this on my kitchen counter as a control center. I hope they are paying attention.

Funny you say about the 60 Hertz screen. All iPads have got 60 Hertz screen apart from the pro model lineup. But you just recommended a 60 Hertz screen iPad at the start of the video. And now you're saying having a 60hz in 2023 24 isn't good enough. The end of the day and 90 Hertz or 120 hz panel on a Samsung pixel or any Android phone is really really fast. My iPhone 14 pro 120 Hertz is utter garbage and has got to be the most overrated feature on Apple products and people who love iPhone's an iPads Haven't got a clue what there missing out on the 120 Hertz on iPhone 14 pro. Feels like a 60 Hertz. When I pulled my pixel fold up next to it and started scrolling around the difference was phenomenal. iPhone and Apple can't do 120 Hertz panels. I think it's more marketing. I think they're not running 120 Hertz There not really smooth scrolling
No recommendation on a Samsung tablet then. If you don't want a Pixel tablet, you just jump straight to iPad's there. Most people are buy a pixel tablet. Won't want anything to do with apple. iPads are overrated the iPad 10 generation is nowhere near as good as the pixel tablet. It has higher megapixel cameras and that's it. And the iPad Air is twice as much nearly as the pixel tablet. I would suggest if you didn't want the pixel tablet. Have a look at the Galaxy tablets

Google is where the budget community lives best. From phones to watches etc. I had the iPad 5th Gen which is great but isn't supported in updates anymore and when I looked at the newest iPads I was disappointed in the 10th gen. 64gb for a budget tablet with 4gb is embarrassing and don't get me wrong the design is nice but as a person who loves everything new 128gb is where it's at and the pixel tablet has 8gb of ram with DDR5 and 128gb of storage. It's not perfect mind you and I love apple products but the money is in Google at the moment. I was thinking of using the Apple card but I don't know if I want to pay $49.91 for 12 months for a 256gb tablet that is $599 in regular price.
