Vera is such a boat kid - wonderful to see! We noticed her Keen sandals. We wore Keen sandals throughout our 14 month voyage in the US and eastern Caribbean. They held up so well and were excellent hiking sandals. We now live in Portland, Oregon where Keen has its headquarters. Our daughter-in-law works for Keen so I now have a closet full of different sandals and a pair of snow boots!
Lucky you! 😍 The sandals are great and the best thing is that they are waterproof. Perfect for our lifestyle! Her feet grow so fast though so they are almost too small already so will buy a new pair when we get to Sweden ☺️

Provisioning, refueling, oil changes, antigen testing, it all takes time, particularly when looking after an active little one. Some balance bike have brakes, important to learn before she gets to pedals, perhaps you'll find one in Sweden for the summer.

Those burgers look great. Very similar to the black bean/quinoa ones I make. I add chopped roasted red pepper and garlic, then a little bread crumbs to bind it and reduce the moistness so it browns easily. Yummy

I was wondering why you"all don't fish between islands for tuna or mahi mahi. You could freeze the filets you don't eat . I love your videos!!!

I have very strong aluminum extrusions which are 10 feet along I think they can be mucl stronger than wooden struts I have 10 0f them and they are heavy duty

I hear that you are going to Sweden this summer. We are also going to Sweden for about 4 weeks (May 22 to June 18, 2022) to Malmo and Stockholm. Our oldest daughter lives in Malmo. Before I land in Copenhagen I will be walking the Camino from Porto to Santiago de Compastella in beginning of May. When will you be in Malmo this summer?
I have been watching your channel from when you sailed the Alaska coast and down the BC coast line. I did send you a note about sailing in the Prince Rupert area where I lived 1981 to 1985. I am originally from Lund Sweden and live now in Kitchener Ontario Canada and sail the North Channel on a Catalina 28 Mk2 for the last 7 years. if it is convenient it would be great to meet maybe in the Malmo area this summer.

I started watching your videos right before Vera was born. I seems like she has grown up over night! Is she 2 now? Can you do a video on raising a child in an alternative house? How does potty training go on board? Did you wear cloth or disposable diapers? She seems so calm. Does she not have days that she doesn't want to be on the boat? How do you keep her entertained? What do you do with her if your both needed top side and she needs to be in a safe place? You really should submit an article for a boating magazine because I have found nothing on raising a child from infancy thru toddler on a boat. Maybe a mom blog? How do you support your travels? Do you work online or go back home and work for a few months to stock up the funds? Love your channel and the quality of your videos! Stay safe and have a nice summer at home!

You guys are missing the Bahamas? The best part! Bigger and better(?) than the entire Lesser Antilles. I admit I am a little biased. I hope you come to visit us. For the best beach Barbuda has we have many, many thousands. And fish! The bread is definitely better in Martinique!

Haven't finished watching this video yet, but have you thought about a multi-hull boat for comfort? I have noticed many families going this route now. Their only complaint has been they wish they had made the switch earlier.

We don’t have a watermaker onboard actually but we have a really big watertank on 1000 Liters 💦
