For example, if a person has learned the language and has no debts to the government, but has a job that is not "in high demand", do you think this person might get rejected to get a potential B permit?
Thank you! It's really hard to tell right now, also because the situation can change very fast. I think it depends on your integration in general and working is the most important aspect besides learning the language. The longer you work here (regardless whether it's a job in 'high demand' or not), the better the chances will be to stay.
hi, thank you for your video. what was the reason, that refugees from ukraine did get S status, and not the same status as war refugees from other countries? What happened to war refugees from other countries? did they have to return or not? it's also hard to tell when the war will end or if the war wills tart again. i think recently the siwss goverment has alreday extended the s status recently until 2026
Hi! The status S was a purely political decision, there's no legal reason behind it. Refugees from other countries have to apply for asylum in Switzerland.
