Just bought myself a DeWalt Grinder today. After getting acquainted with the grinder and assembling it, I found your video on UA-cam to see and double check if I did everything correctly. Believe me, I double and triple check to make sure that grinding disk was on there securely !!! Thanks for going through all the steps !!! I can now proceed to use my DeWalt grinder safely and confidently !!!
Amen Brother safety first I'm glad I could Help 🙏 Cheers Kenny
At least you were honest and you didn't edit it out fair play
I try to keep all my videos real Buddy
It’s very important to know what NOT to do when you see the consequences and potential danger. It’s quite possible you may have prevented someone from getting seriously injured if they took the time to watch this. Thanks for sharing Ken. - Keep ‘em commin brother! 👍👏
Many Thanks Brother very true I appreciate it Amen Safety First 🙏
Ken, I did the exact same thing…😂🤪 Glad to see I wasn’t the only one‼️😂🤙🏽
I’m glad you made the video and didn’t edit that part out 😂😂 thank you though!!
Your Welcome Brother I keep it real for sure LOL Safety First
With time on the tool and a little grit between the locking flange, hand tightening does work.
Also, the gear case will rotate 90 degrees.
Yes Sire it will Awesome Buddy Great tip 👍
Way to keep your videos honest! Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes! Great video, great tool, and hope that you and the family are all doing well. God bless you all! Cheers!
Thanks Brother I appreciate it Brother God Bless Brother Chad
Forgot to lock it with hex. Thank you for showing me what not to do.
Your very Welcome Buddy
Dude I love your honest humble replies to all the comments. I hope your channel grows and others follow your examples
I really Appreciate it Brother I try to keep it real Cheers Kenny 🍻
Not a "goof up" at all, but instead a valuable training lesson! Thank you for keeping it in and not editing it out. A video that's actually useful to potential new buyers! Many years ago, I had a cheap corded grinder that had a very sharp start up which felt like it had a life of its own as it jerked violently into action. It also had a lot of vibration in use which could potentially give you white knuckle syndrome or HAVS Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome. These newer better branded grinders don't suffer from vibration so much as they're far smoother and better engineered and also have soft starts too. Thanks for uploading, God bless you!
Your welcome Brother I keep it real God Bless Brother
These newer cordless grinders are so much better compared, they have decent run times and power. Another pleasant video as always.
Yes they are Buddy I appreciate it Brother 👍

Had to watch 2 or 3 before you showed the secret button to lock everything. Thanks 👍👍
I appreciate it Have good one Thanks for watching Cheers Kenny
6:50 at this point right here, battery should be out of the tool while you’re changing blades
Yes You are correct I appreciate it buddy
Good show lots of fun
Thanks Brother
I think you should go on a health and safety course lol
LOL I appreciate that Buddy that is a good idea
Not very technical on this. Never never run you grinder unless you absolutely sure its tight. You need to remove the battery before changing the grinder wheels. Never test the trigger while holding the wheel. Wow, wow you still have your fingers
Your exactly right Sometimes when you to comfortable with a tool or equipment you forget about Safety First
Hello Kenny,Good video
Thanks Rolanx I appreciate it 👍
Same thing happened to me
I hate when that happens Brother
U did a great job bro. Shit happens thx
Thanks Brother I appreciate it 👍 it Happens
dont adjust the blade with the battery on. no matter what. remove battery first seeing you change disc with battery in and that button dangerously close to being pressed by your body somehow...oooof man fingers gone be stumpin
Your Exactly Right buddy
Ken...take out the battery when installing disk!!!
Yes Sir Great Idea I appreciate it 👍
OMG - the way you test the trigger lock with your hand on the disk while you press the trigger. THAT part surely should have been edited out.
That is the reason I didn't edit it out I wanted folks to learn from my mistakes what not to do Cheers Kenny
Okay Mr. perfect, him not editing showed others why it's important to read manual safety. Honesty is always best.
Is there a specific battery you have to run with the DCG412 grinder? Seems mine always dies within minutes
I'd use A 20V Max 5AH Battery atleast buddy
Yah just bought couple of days it doesn't come with disc key, why it is Allen wrench
Mine was hiding in the Box call Dewalt they will send you one Cheers Brother
@@KVUSMC-KU4SMC really?
@@junwet sure was buddy
How do you put the guard on? Mine came off and I can't get it back on. When I get it back on its loose
It is pretty Simple Grooves and latch and some Screws on it You will figure it out buddy 👍
Yeah you will figger it out buddy!
@@KVUSMC-KU4SMC landlord figured it out for me
Do you think its a big need to spend the extra for brushless?
Not really if I wear it out I can buy 2 non Brushless for the price of one
They way I look at it
bro should wear a face sheild. safety glasses sure but i seen by boy take a broken disc to the face. many stitches. cut his damn cheek, face, mouth to hell. i always wear a face sheild when i can and at least safety glasses. I know this guy is wearing glasses but he should get prescription safety glasses. if he wants to make these kind of videos its a worthy investment
I Have many face shields Brother good Eye Safety First
How mach many
I got for around $150.
My guard won't stay on
It has some grooves in there to hold it on there
