FX Impact M3 Rabbit Cull with Bonus Air Rifle Foxes || PCP Hunting || .22 Calibre

- I'm out again with my FX Impact M3 .22 caliber into the field for some BULK pest control shooting. This is a professional pest control cull for a local private landowner with a small game pest problem. Rabbit hunting at night is an Aussie pastime, add in a modern twist of PCP hunting with thermal and night vision equipment. You can envisage good results if the rabbit numbers are prevalent. There is plenty of air rifle hunting and shooting action in this UA-cam video for you all to watch.
FX Impact M3 is shooting on song in .22 calibre shooting 23gr Zan slugs. Scope is a PARD DS35g70 LRF with ballistic hold over capability in 850nm. Thermal hand scanner duties went to the Pulsar Telos LRF XP50. For those interested my FX Impact M3 is running a Huma-Air high flow slug & pellet probe but no other power upgrades. It has a standard 600mm barrel with superior liner (not heavy). I'm firing the 23gr slugs at about 925 fps for sub MOA accuracy (Which} as 44 ft/lbs for the UK guys that feel the requirement to know this). Few Sabre Tactical upgrades in the mix to the rifle body like the Arca Rail 2 and TRS rail. Air supply is by a ShootAir light weight composite tank to refill the rifle bottle as required.
A large portion of these rabbits were utilised for the pot or pet food. But with a large cull like this many just go into landfill as we are paid to shoot and tally numbers. There's no time on the clock so to speak for processing animals in this type of volume.
I am a licensed vertebrate pest control - contract shooters in NSW. For those wondering about the suppressor, I hold the necessary permit in NSW for use. If seeking information regarding that, please check the FAR webpage for details. All shooting is performed on privately owned farms, with exclusive permission granted in writing for paid services.

Can’t say enough about your ability to do a great job of keeping us arm chair hunting enthusiasts on the edge of our seats. 😊😊😊
Really appreciate the ongoing support Jay 💪
That is a lot of rabbit . The range finder in the scope works perfect . Watching the massive flashes of the thunder storm be hind you spectacular
Thanks 👍
A true environmentalist looking after the Australian environment. Thanks mate, great work.
Glad you enjoyed it
I don't understand the technical side of what you talk about but i know enough to recognise a true professional when i see one at work.Congratulations.@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK
IMO, this was one of your best video ever! I loved it!! Those who have never experienced thee FX rifles simply have no idea what they can do now days. I love my 30 cal IMpact
Man that 153 yard shot was sweet. Great ballistics calculations there.
What an awesome effort Nathan bloody hell mate they were dropping like flies and foxes as well great nights work .
Glad you enjoyed it
Ever thought about trying out for the Olympics.@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK
Loving the new style of shooting video with in screen scope and vice versa, done well it works well nice job 👍
Really appreciate it mate 👌
Bloody awesome video mate, I'm blown away by the capability of those air rifles, well done on the foxes too mate very impressive stuff, thanks again
hell of a set up you have!!!!!!great marksmanship
Love the new camera position POV of the shooter and thanks for showing the operation of the loading mechanism/handle. The insight is much appreciated...
No worries at all 👌
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK I forgot to mention the split screen effect, all next level stuff.
Nathan you bloody Champion .. nice touch with the added Noisy minors and Foxes
Yay you got a myna mob! Love how they love to check out their dead and dying birds. Great video as always. Mahalo for sharing
Cheers
Haven’t air rifles come along way , since I was a kid 👍
Shooting for Australia. 🇦🇺
Nice one, Nathan, as always.
After the first 50 it starts to look like work to me :) I was fascinated to see the Plenum gauge cycling. It takes a pause to come to full pressure again. Love the burn pile. Its habitat and a great back stop. I can picture some mayhem when the pile gets fired too. What a place to be with a shotgun :P
I remember in 1989 going around with a Weihrauch HW77 and a mate spotting with a hand held dolphin torch. We thought we had a great night taking home six or seven. Air rifles have changed so much.
The pard ds35 70lrf is a cracking scope, the BC is magic.
What a damn fine air rifle, that clocking action is superb and the distance is astonishing. ❤
Thank you...Fabulous video also, love the rifle and site set up.
Just RIDICULOUS. You have outstanding fundamentals, & that AIR Rifle..??
Whoa. That just changed my mind about those. Thank you again
Thanks mate 👌
*EDGE of the OUTBACK* Bravo well done, thank-you sir for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.
Glad you enjoyed it
Absolutely love your videos never disappoint keep up your fantastic work 👏👏👏👏
Thank you! Will do!
Another great video. Those flying foxes would have been awesome to watch. Love your work!
Thank you very much!
All angles covered. Target, marksman, firearm, thunderstorm backdrop! It was interesting to see the air pressure gauge at work too! And yes, the sound came through nicely!
Glad you enjoyed it so much mate 👌
Nice arsenal Nathan and a great achievement for sure 👍
You have a brilliant shot probably the best i have seen on UA-cam people dont realise how hard theys shots are and you make it look easy 💪
Thanks 👍🏻
Nicely done. Always good to see some good air rifle action.
“..yeh, didn’t hide that much” lol 🐰. Love your work legend!
Another cinematic extravaganza of bunny busting!!
Some miners and foxes thrown in for added appeal.
That air rifle has some serious oomph.
Great job mate.
Cheers mate 👌
Wow! You’re good! Outstanding video. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching!
I was thinking a 22lr and subsonics would have been a better choice but after watching this you had the right tool
Man o man now that’s the stuff dreams are made of, right there!! Virtually an endless supply of targets and a FX air rifle!!❤❤
Thanks 👍🏻
A true artist ❤
Doing good and having a ball doing it 🙏
Must be Friday! As usual a lot of blasting and great nature footage.
Cheers mate 👌
Amazing! It appears that Rabbits aren't as smart (or as aware of impending doom) as Pigs are! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for watching!
Nice video. I have fond memories of the thunder and lightning off in the distance out in country NSW. There's something uniquely dramatic and Australian about it that I haven't really seen elsewhere.
Absolutely 👌
Rabbit it's the other white meat, love it✌️ Napa California and the lightning was an added bonus
G'day great work mate. I really injoy your videos and I learnt so much watching them.
Glad to hear it
Love your work... especially the minor birds.
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video as always. Wonderful capture of the bats drinking at night and good heavens that's a lot rabbit you bagged.
Many thanks!
Cracking video Nathan, well done again👍🏼🍻
Thanks 👍
Either way. Great shots. It's amazing how consistently accurate these things are.
Wow, another action packed video Nathan, well done matey.
Geoff. UK.
Glad you liked it Geoff
A very productive trip. I especially liked the mangy fox kill. I was watching the lightning getting closer and wondered if you were about to get into the storm. Great action!
Cheers 👍🏻
Great Nath , Love the double take on the Acrobatics.
Thanks!
Good work Nathan, so many. I started to count them but gave up 😆
So did I 😂
Re the flying foxes - there is a David Attenborough film where they film flying foxes drinking up in Darwin also trying to avoid the crocodiles! I'd love one of those FX airguns. Making it look easy!
that was a brilliant day night mate best ever spot on tottally electrifying
Appreciate it mate
Just Great stuff. Really good setup you have there. I definitely want one!
Thanks! 👍
Your shooting skills never cease to amaze me. I wish Santa would bring me a Pard! Great stuff M8.
Happy holidays!
Nice shooting that impact is definitely earning it's keep... good try on that 204 yard shot, very close!
Love your videos and envy you a job like that. Outside slocking invasive little monsters all day. Sounds fantastic.
You got a real wabbit problem in Oz. I'd move there but getting a hangun and an air rifle in Oz is like winning a lottery. My Diana airrifle has a muzzle velocity (1150 fps) and breaks through a 3/4" (19 mm) piece of plywood but it probably does not have your range. Beautiful rifle you have. Time for a James Boags Premiun lager.
Wow, breeding like mmmm rabbits. Good job Nath!!
Thanks!
Bloody good night on the bunnies cobber and foxes as well. All the best for the festive season to you and yours from me and mine Nathan.🤠
You too mate 🍻
Good job, it is so clean to watch.
Thank you!
Really enjoyed the show, just a slight rabbit problem?
Your gear is incredible and so's the price tag so I guess I'll hang on to my BRNO model 2 and the sub-sonic hollow points😥.
Nothing wrong with that gear mate 💪
Thanks for including the bat footage. Amazing.
No worries!
Amazing gear, excellent marksmanship and no shortage of targets either. Looking forward to your next installment !
More to come!
Looks like so much fun! AMAZING!
It was!
Great stuff as always Nathan.
What an absolute carnage! Just how we like it!
Awesome Nathan. I enjoy the long shots, last week I had a rabbit at 222yds, PB rabbit 275yds, Jackdaw 385yds. Impact MK2 V2 25cal 😁🙂. Like you I guess, I shoot everyday practicing & always trying to find a little something to improve on 😁 great video 👍
Top banana fella another example of the invasives overrunning the land they should not be on. Keep up the good work mate
They were introduced for sport hunting..the irony of this is fantastic!
@@frankryan2505 pretty sure it was a food source. Foxes were for sport.
Nice work Nathan, good work on the first fox, I thought he was gone.
Typical heart shot that fella. Mad dash, tail flapping.
I love watching your videos every time.. I don't watch other cullers that thermal because it just doesn't compare and your commentary and easy to listen to presence outclasses the rest in My opinion.. then there's the accuracy of your shooting 👌😎 thanks again for another epic slay up video chur!
Really appreciate it mate 👌
What a night rabbits, foxes but no wild moggies.
The sight on your rifle is great
Gotta love the air, the shirt and the hat, oh the humour 😎
I have to say the FX is a truly refined air rifle
Those lightning angles when shooting are amazing. Should be the new thumbnail for sure.
Some of those shots were incredible! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Will do!
Just the dial in beginning is great to see!
Brilliant. MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND ❤😊👊🇬🇧🇬🇧
Once up in Port MacQuarrie I was in the middle of a tornado of flying foxes. I was terrifying and amazing.
This is hands down the most varmints I've ever seen taken in a single video
Nicely done sir!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. You have an infestation of rabbits mate, you have more targets than pellets. Well done, great job.👏
Thanks 👍
That was wicked Nathan! 👍
Just for further smiles, you should do a 'a "Watership Down" cut.
Think: A montage of 'slow mo action set to Art Garfunkel's "Bright Eyes"..
That aside that is a very impressive air-rifle. Quite a long way from the old break-action "Diana" of my youth.
MATE!!! Forget Water-Ship Down!
You Completely Destroyed it! From Now On, It Shall Forever Be Known As
Water-Fleet Decimated hahaha 🤣. Screw those little Cotton Tailed Demons.
Great Work As Always Nathan!!!!
Cheers
Fricken top shots mate, and great video.👍🇦🇺
Thanks 👍
Certainly got the FX dialed nicely mate. No shortage of targets👍👍
Was a fun night indeed
Love your work as usual mate glad to see you are enjoying your FX, I did tell you when you were using the .22 rimfire that they are a better package for small vermin. I would be lost without my FX Crown in .25 cal using NSA 26.9Gr slugs at about 900Fps but it could do with a sound moderator but I`m not a payed pest controller like yourself so I would never be able to get one here in Vic. I went .25 as most the properties I shoot are always bloody windy.
wow, 100 metres on a fox with an air rifle, impressive !!!, also 170 on a rabbit, love your work :):):),
the quiet achiever :)
You lucky bloke, all that lovely grub.
bloody brilliant. this is one reason why it would be great if supressors were to be allowed for hunting purposes(larger game) in aus. you go out there with any firearm and the first shot scares everything away. but you pcp was quiet and very accurate. cant wait to get my own little air rifle.
It still scares everything off on a centrefire using supersonic ammo. Can't hide that loud crack.
Stella job as always
Talk about a target rich environment. Good grief mate this video was awesome.
I was not expecting that when you turned the melon around 😂 geez
Fried Rabbit smothered in Gravy with buttermilk Biscuits Time!
Excellent, nailing all that bunch. Noticed you had a pie break. If ye lived in my town, ye'd never get shooting. My butcher do their own pies, they're absolutely to die for, steak pies are the best. I'm 2m and 120Kg, and they fill me. Big Steve, E. Yorks., England
Sounds tasty
Good work yet again young Nathan taking care of them wascally wabbits😂. Cheers Dan.
Thanks 👍
Mahusay na pangangaso upang bawasan ang mga peste ng pananim, glad to meet you sir, watching and support from your new subscriber here in the 🇵🇭❤️
Enjoy 😉
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK Thanks for the reply sir.
Ma man what a field day that’s a whole lotta shooting awsum footage till the end 🤙
A lot of shot eh 😃
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK bra a hella of lot that some air & slugs my friend
You are saving the soil of Australia
The Best!!! Rabbits like if they were rats!! And even that cinematographic effects of thunders were te best😅 good luck mate and stay safe. Cheers from Colombia.
G'Day,,Nice work,,Look to be clean rabbit's too,,Hanv't seen that many for many years,
Unlucky on the long shot,Often sit in my car and watch the storms roll in,from the sea,,
I do like watching a storm. Just not being under it with a metal and aluminium rod 😳
@2:08 can't believe that he ducked that shot! That was incredible :)
Another awesome video mate keep them coming please ❤🎉
Thanks! Will do!
