And that’s just what was caught on camera. Awesome work on the tally Anthony. No wonder Nathan pre-loads those cartridges at home. I know I’d get the shits if I had to reload 22 pallets every time I was out. lol 😂
Especially those friggin Mynas. They've exploded in population the past five years, they used to never be in my area west of the Blue Mountains, now they're an epidemic. So often I see them competing with native birds, it's terrible.
Some people say don't bring army in to clean ferals out..people need a hobby and pocket money in the bush meanwhile our natives go existent.if a decent bounty was for toads you certainly have some grub breeding toad's..yes Australia ain't the same..im writing to government band cat ownership from rural areas..we vote native animals can't talk but we can..not even a reply..
It is totally astounding how far airguns have come since I was a kid. These FX fellows are now doing the same and more than a 22 rimfire depending on the muzzle energy. The big difference is that a top of the range FX PCP can be two grand - whereas a 22 rimfire is now virtually worthless and can be picked up for coppers ! Great vid as usual lad - keep em coming.
One day you might get the hang of this shooting thing! Very impressive indeed! The black feral cat was my favourite! Cats and foxes are my biggest issue on farm. Looking forward to the next video, cheers for what you do mate 🤙
Our ancestors were fools to bring them here. They should be ashamed of themselves for having done so, along with many other introduced species. Not that they could have known what destruction they would bring. The changes that rabbits alone have made to the detriment of the landscape of this country, both on the coastal fringes and the harsh interior cannot be overstated. The inland of Australia was a lot more lush that it is now, 250 yrs ago. Imagine rabbit plaques totaling Billions, roaming around. There has been many of them. The erosion that causes to the land is devastating /rant.
If there is one thing I love shooting it’s rats then grey squirrels and rabbits. The rats are just pure filthy things. Seen them drag off and eat the dead. Well done Nathan. The fx is a great piece of kit but the shooters doing great work too. Great video
Holy cow Nathan, I've just seen your post about 500k subscribers.!!! That's exceptional, especially for a hunting channel. Videos such as this one are a testament to your hard work and you personally. Congratulations and greetings from Oxford.
950 fps is craaazy. What a nice setup that is! Farkenell. If I had that over 30 yrs ago, there would have been a LOT of upset golfers. Those 100yd+ shots were a joy to witness. cheers mate.
He hunts whatever the property owner asked to be hunted, this is his job not just shooting for fun this is eradicating pests and if one of the critters were to pop up im sure it would get the same treatment cheers people 🤘
Nice work on the little critters. What’s the saying…. Find a job doing something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. You’re all over it! Great stuff 👍
Mate!!! It’s like ya shoot one and a hundred turn up for the funeral. Really need to get my hands on one of these air-rifles. I love the reload system. As always Cheers Nathan!!!
Great to see the Indian Myna's copping it. Used to try and shoot them at the farm, but the buggers were always around cattle. Great shot on that moggy too, bloody awful things in the wild.
Thankyou . You have helped me decide on using box section with enclosed ends instead of C section. That is just nuts having that much bird shit on your gear. It just shows that it would be worth the effort or just leave the gear out in the elements. Joel 🤟☮️🇦🇺😎👍
Gosh Nathan you make shooting look like great fun. Can see your thoroughly enjoying yourself. Spot on accuracy and footage. Great setup you have and you know exactly how to use it. Hope the Family are well 🤗
500k subs, bloody awesome. You deserve it mate, a good, no bullshit channel. Amusing when you're out in the paddock and hit one fence wire, but in the shed you're shooting thru all that mesh and not one hit (that we saw) haha. Enjoy your bunny stew
Awesome work as always mate!! Love the dead cat, I just shot my first ever cat tonight with the 22WMR just in the headlights of the Ute👌 made the whole night
Airguns have their place, and they do fantastic work. People always argue wether powder or poof. If the tool is right for the job- well okay, it got the job done. The professional says: whats`s next ;)
Those 100 yards plus shots were impressive. Many a shooter could not do them with .22lr. I shoot benchrest and we now limit ourselves to 75 yards because some of the older guys could not see well enough to do the 100 yards. Also, their groups were getting a bit big to be good for the ego.
Thanks mate for your good work. I am glad you shoot feral cats as they are the biggest killer in Australia. Can your .22 air rifle work with feral cats. I have seen huge feral cats!
Indian Mynas are a damn pest. We have them in South Africa as well. They can rear 3 broods of chicks in South Africa a year where they would be only rear 1 brood a year in their native India. None of the local predators prey on them and it has gotten so out of hand that they have been declared a schedule 1 pest. They can be shot on sight. So yeah I can understand the frustration of having to deal with them. Great Shoot BTW! Greetings from South Africa.
Looks like we have the Australian version of Teds Holdover. Those FX PCP's are awesome, would love to have one in my Christmas hamper, but they are a bit pricey. Love your vids, keep them up!
Excellent video. I love ZAN slugs. IME with several brands of slugs on larger small game like woodchucks, raccoons etc, and a host of smaller critters, they are the only slugs I have found that actually expand, even on starlings. The pop that they make when launched from my 30 cal MK II is quite impressive when they land on birds, rabbits etc
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK It's hard to shoot my 22 and 25 's now, though when the MK IV comes out, I will probably get one and turn this 30 into a 25, because I will be able to push heavier 25's at decent velocity from it and the 25 seems to penetrate a little better than the 30, but there is noticeable difference in on target impact from those wide, heavy slugs. Been hoping to catch a coyote with the 30, but haven't been in the right place at the right time yet.
Very nice, and thank you for taking the time to edit each small clip, I know it would have been more time consuming than the pigs. I enjoy the small rodent control better than the pigs
I was out a few nights ago, I got 34 possums and 21 rabbits, all in about four hours. Possums are such a pest in NZ. Even shot 2 on a water trough, 200m from any trees, in the middle of a paddock
I took a video with the Pard DS35, of about 12 possums grazing like cattle in the middle of a paddock to show the farmer later, before I shot them. It was crazy. This is about 30 minutes south of Auckland.@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK
Ok that was fun to watch
By my tallying it’s
Rats…….36
Pigeons……27
Indian Minors……16
Rabbits…….52
and 1 cat
Nice
Was a good afternoon and night 💪
Nice one bro! Cheers for that tally. It's mind blowing numbers.
Legend! 💪🤙
Yeah not bad mate.pretty good numbers
beats using a 22cal $ and less noise good work nathan
And that’s just what was caught on camera. Awesome work on the tally Anthony. No wonder Nathan pre-loads those cartridges at home. I know I’d get the shits if I had to reload 22 pallets every time I was out. lol 😂
Australia needs an army of you to even put a dent in the number of Feral animals we have. Great job mate
Cheers, and we have an army of skilled licensed shooters doing great work everyday 💪
Especially those friggin Mynas. They've exploded in population the past five years, they used to never be in my area west of the Blue Mountains, now they're an epidemic. So often I see them competing with native birds, it's terrible.

The army tried with emus and didn't fair out any good haha. You are spot on but it's definitely got worse over the years.
We should relax the gun laws to let the young kids go around with air rifles and wipe out the ferals.
I am not a shooter, but I admire and enjoy your skills with a gun, well done
I really appreciate that Sam
Those bunnies are so acrobatic!
Thanks for taking us on another great shoot.
Thanks Jeff
Big fan of the backflip or forwards summersault here too.
*EDGE of the OUTBACK* Bravo well done, thank-you sir for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.
Glad you enjoyed it
That black puddy tat was hilarious, the acrobatics of feral cats when they take a dirt nap is always worth watching.
One less killer down👍
Thanks mate 👌
Good stuff Nathan love it the miners are rats with wings. The men’s shed traps work great on the miners 👍👍👍
Yes they do

Reminder that Rabbits were introduced to this country for the sole purpose of hunting.
You make our ancestors proud.

Top job mate! Getting rid of the introduced vermin

Great work Nathan, I especially like seeing those Indian Mynas getting blown away. They are rats of the sky.

Nice work on the little critters.

That it was mate
I do so enjoy watching you thread the mesh!!! Top job!!! Cheers Ausgranny 🇦🇺🇦🇺🤶

OK Mate, it's taken a few days, but I am now up to date with your posts. Enjoyed every minute of it, thanks for the field trips.

Yeah I was very extremely particular, especially with all the pipes and electrical conduit 😳
I was wondering the same. Any wire hits - although I could see that most are fine given the arc of the slug/pellet.
you’re a great shot man, keep it up
Cheers
Sweet rig, Nathan. Love your work
Thank you
Awesome work as always mate!!
Love the dead cat, I just shot my first ever cat tonight with the 22WMR just in the headlights of the Ute👌 made the whole night
