Sick, malnourished, infected, the vet took the exam, the poor thing is so such bad health that he's not sure how old the poor thing is, at max he's giving him 3 months. They discuss a schedule, injections every week. After 3 weeks, turns out the kitten is 5 years old, has crohns decease.she has to buy special food, and get up at 3 at night to feed it. 3 years later the little Bastard is getting fat, still wakes up everybody at 3 o'clock for nighttime snack, and my mom changed the curtains to be sturdier because he loves climbing them. She showers him in compliments and that cat is loving her so much. Sometimes, the right vet and human combination can change a pets life

I actually had to kick out of this stream pretty early on. I own rats and I am a HUGE supporter of proper care for small pets. This may not be the worst thing Chantal has done, but it’s the most upset she’s made me, personally. I could type a dissertation on all the different ways she’s abused those hamsters in only a couple hours of owning them, but what’s the point? Chantal should never be left alone with any living thing. She corrupts everything around her.

Hi Frenchie! Chantal has no room to talk about anyone’s pet car! She uses Pretty Litter and when they pee, the litter will turn different colors, and it tells you by the color. So, she most certainly knew that BBJ had liver or kidney problems and couldn’t be bothered to check the color and know what could possibly or most certainly is wrong with her!!!! I just want to mention your comment on the fact that hamsters are viewed as a “child’s pet” - and you’re totally right, BUT! they really shouldn’t be. Honestly no living creature should be viewed as a “starter pet” or a “child’s pet”. However, there’s a lot more that goes into a hamsters diet and housing than what most people recognize, and pet stores are the biggest offenders of perpetuating this narrative. Like the cages she bought for them, they’re crappy, small wire cages not suitable for a hamster. With things like google and UA-cam at our finger tips.. there’s really no excuse for poor care due to not knowing better. She could have watched a 15 min hamster video and learned everything she needed to know to get started. Her being lazy with her own self and health is one thing, but why do this to an innocent creature. At 40 yrs old she should know better than to impulsively buy a pet. Shit like this drives me crazy.
I lost 2 of my dogs both to really aggressive cancer, they had been together since 1 was 10 months old and the other was 2. So when the older one died at nearly 13 the other really struggled and it broke her heart. I had her for another 2 years but she wasn't the same it broke my heart. Sorry u have to deal with this.
Was the same over here . WE had one boy pup from the very start of his life and he lived until he was 16 way past what this breed usually lives up to...we got him a friend when he was 2 years old and she was a pup.. they were together always...did everything together , then the boy got really sick and couldn't be saved he died, his friend lasted exactly a year and one day from when the boy died.. It was so sad.. I'm positive she died of a broken heart. They were together for 14-15 years.. I understand ur heartache @theratroom unfortunately it's one of those things that comes with loving pets, I don't think i will ever get over losing both of them, we remember both of them often and look at clips etc..Its life..
Chantal’s stance on euthanasia, is because she would never give her animals extra care, meds every day, many trips to the vet, and a lot of tests. She bings up your dog because she knows it gets to you, and that is so cruel. She should never own a pet of any kind. I recently got a new kitten in November and I have taken him to the vet twice so far. His third vet appointment is this month. No normal or caring pet owner only takes their animals to the vet once a year. My other animals got at least twice a year. She is a horrible pet owner and I will die on that hill.

Are you someone who loves hamsters ? Do you care way too much about Chantal's little critters ? Do you find yourself angry at the prospect of another hamster being neglected by people who don't bother doing any research? Well, my friend, me too. So if you feel like reading a novel, go right ahead 'cause I need to vent. I got my first hamster when I was 25. My parents never wanted me to have one when I was younger and, as an adult, I thought 'hey, I have my own money and place now, I can do what I want'. So I bought a hamster, but before that, I decided to be responsible and check online for as much care infos as I could. Hamsters are very misunderstood pets (like betta fishes, for example), because most people have the belief that they can live in very tiny cages and demand very little care, which is not true. The best way I have heard someone describe it is "Surviving vs Living". You can survive locked in a closet, granted you have food and water, but can you really live ? The same goes for hamsters, it's a quality of life thing. I own a dwarf hamster and his cage is around a meter long, which is just right for him, because he is a small boi. Hamsters. need. space. I have not properly seen the size of the cage her hamsters are in, but at a glance (if i am wrong, i take it back obvs) it looks like those small wire cages you buy at the pet store... Not enough for a dwarf hamster and not enough for a syrian hamster (which is what i'm assuming she has). I would not be surprised if the cage also has a (too small) wire hamster wheel. Wheels need to be adapted to the hamster's size, if their back is curved when they run, it's too small. Wire wheel are also known to cause blisters on their feets and, in some extreme cases, open fractures, or death. Very few hamsters sleep while uncovered, they prefer to burrow, but to do so, they need a good depth of bedding, around 5-6 inches (thus, the need for a big cage). Let's give the benefit of the doubt to Chantal and say her hamster just likes to sleep in the open, fine, but they are still burrowing animals and need proper bedding depth. They also need daily care : change water, small clean ups of soiled bedding, washing the wheel which they will probably pee in.... As well as some particular care: their nails will grow, just like any other animal. If she can't cut them herself, she will need to adapt the cage (with some rocks, for example) so that the hamsters can trim their nails naturaly. Food is also important, they need pellets, but some veggies and small worms for protein. Finally, hamsters have a very sensitive sense of smell and can be bothered by scents, so those three wicks candles are an obvious no no. And of course, I know someone is bound to say "I had a hamster when I was young and it lived in a shitty cage and I did none of those things and it was fine". Well, what do you want me to say ? Congrats, I guess. My parents never brought their pets to the vet and my grandma used to get rid of unwanted dog litters by fucking drowning them. Does the fact that someone did something in the past makes it okay to do now ? Anyway, this was my novel for the day, thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

I recently lost my baby girl my calico my best friend of almost 7 years just a few days before Christmas. I'm crying every single day. She suddenly had heart failure out of no where. God my heart hurts so bad I don't feel like it will ever heal. We spent every single day together and slept together every single night . She'd lay by me covered up head on my pillow like a little person. I don't know how ffg can deal with all these ppl talking crap on her dogs. All this hurts enough as it is.
Frenchie, all of those who matter no that your dogs were loved immensely. You are right; a vet will give you all the options as a pet owner, but will also offer guidance on the option of euthanasia. When my dog passed, we spent a month just trying to diagnose him and we never fully got there; my vet recommended that we stop all the tests, as the only path forward was to do far more invasive tests, and it would have ruined his quality of life. That is how we knew it was time to let go 💔 We love you Frenchie!
Hi gorlgang! Happy new years eve. I have two cats. They're 13y. I wasn't cat person , when my now passed away ex was and always had cats, so I let him to have these two. Went to place to choose them with him and so on. I admit that still not so much cat person, but as a feeling human being I take good care of them! They are my responsibility and of course I have created feelings towards them and wanna protect em. People should do their research and think carefully before having any living thing to their life. I was so furious and scared at the same time, when I first saw this sh1t! Love you ffg. You're witty. ( hopefully that is correct word. She’s an idiot for using what the shopkeeeper said as any kind of truth. Most pet stores are just there to make money and don’t give a crap about the well-being about the animals there. I got a dog from a pet store when I was a child. The seller said the breed didn’t bark much. He was a Yorkie. They’re known to be little barkers. They’re trying to make a sale and will say whatever they need to to get your money. It’s up to the individual to do the proper research AND take them to a vet ASAP. The same Yorkie I was told was healthy by the seller had Kennel Cough and was near fatally ill and contagious, he went to the vet and recovered but the point still stands. They will say anything to have as much inventory kept in the worst condition for profit. Also hamsters are solitary creatures and DON’T LIKE TO BE PICKED UP LIKE THAT CHANTAL. Over handling hamsters can stress them out and shorten their lifespans significantly.

I’m way late to this but as someone who runs a hamster rescue I gotta say something. I’m in my 40s and I rescue hamsters. It’s weird but I love my hams. So many people abandon these little guys or keep them in tiny plastic houses and get bored after a couple months bc hamsters really don’t care to interact with humans. They are like tropical fish, you set them up in a sweet habitat and enjoy watching them living their best life. Hamsters are a perfect pet for me because of my busy work schedule. They don’t require the attention as cats and dogs. BUT for hams to thrive, they need a lot of stuff. A HUGE enclosure, wheel, enrichment, bathing sand, chew toys, multiple water sources, correct bedding, nutrition, vet care, nail care. It’s not cheap. I wish pet stores would just stop selling hamsters. Pet stores usually purchase hamsters from hamster mills with lots of inbreeding and illness. Ethical breeder are the way to go if you really want a hamster. How FB cares for those hams makes my blood boil. What happened to her hamster now? I can’t even keep track of its Harry or Howey or how many she has had. She is burning through hamsters faster than a kindergarten class. Now, FB is sick AF and can barely move. Is the poor ham neglected and living in filth? I doubt salad is cage cleaning. I can’t even. I am experiencing next level rage watching this

Peetz was going to have his mother and/or brother stay with him when they were going to move to the mansion. He needs to tell Chantal that she needs to move out. His mom can help with bills. She could pull the rug out from under him at anytime. But in all honesty, I don’t see her going back. Salad should know by now that getting papers through her is going to be almost impossible. My partner is Persian and doesn’t like pets. I love dogs but it’s just not their thing so I just direct my attention to other things like the garden, work etc. I bet Salah is not a pet guy. If he was, at his age, he likely would have had one before her. I think it’s a distraction for Foodie Booty to keep her away from him.

I have a 15 year old cat and I just lost my 5 month old Kitten, Sonny yesterday. I tried so hard to nurse him the best I could with medication that was prescribed and vitamins because he was sick the last weeks of his life. if anyone said anything wrong to me about how I went about doing it I would lose my mind. I actually had to kick out of this stream pretty early on. I own rats and I am a HUGE supporter of proper care for small pets. This may not be the worst thing Chantal has done, but it’s the most upset she’s made me, personally. I could type a dissertation on all the different ways she’s abused those hamsters in only a couple hours of owning them, but what’s the point?

Hi Frenchie! Chantal has no room to talk about anyone’s pet car! She uses Pretty Litter and when they pee, the litter will turn different colors, and it tells you by the color. So, she most certainly knew that BBJ had liver or kidney problems and couldn’t be bothered to check the color and know what could possibly or most certainly is wrong with her!!!! I just want to mention your comment on the fact that hamsters are viewed as a “child’s pet” - and you’re totally right, BUT! they really shouldn’t be. Honestly no living creature should be viewed as a “starter pet” or a “child’s pet”. However, there’s a lot more that goes into a hamsters diet and housing than what most people recognize, and pet stores are the biggest offenders of perpetuating this narrative.
Like the cages she bought for them, they’re crappy, small wire cages not suitable for a hamster. With things like google and UA-cam at our finger tips.. there’s really no excuse for poor care due to not knowing better.
She could have watched a 15 min hamster video and learned everything she needed to know to get started. Her being lazy with her own self and health is one thing, but why do this to an innocent creature.
At 40 yrs old she should know better than to impulsively buy a pet. Shit like this drives me crazy.

I lost 2 of my dogs both to really aggressive cancer, they had been together since 1 was 10 months old and the other was 2. So when the older one died at nearly 13 the other really struggled and it broke her heart. I had her for another 2 years but she wasn't the same it broke my heart. Sorry u have to deal with this.

WE had one boy pup from the very start of his life and he lived until he was 16 way past what this breed usually lives up to...we got him a friend when he was 2 years old and she was a pup.. they were together always...did everything together , then the boy got really sick and couldn't be saved he died, his friend lasted exactly a year and one day from when the boy died.. It was so sad.. I'm positive she died of a broken heart. They were together for 14-15 years.. I understand ur heartache @theratroom unfortunately it's one of those things that comes with loving pets, I don't think i will ever get over losing both of them, we remember both of them often and look at clips etc..Its life..

Chantal’s stance on euthanasia, is because she would never give her animals extra care, meds every day, many trips to the
vet, and a lot of tests. She bings up your dog because she knows it gets to you, and that is so cruel. She should never own a pet of any kind. But she also knows that saying all this will get people talking and her engagement up for her channel.

I recently got a new kitten in November and I have taken him to the vet twice so far. His third vet appointment is this month. No normal or caring pet owner only takes their animals to the vet once a year. My other animals got at least twice a year. She is a horrible pet owner and I will die on that hill.

Do you find yourself angry at the prospect of another hamster being neglected by people who don't bother doing any research? Well, my friend, me too. So if you feel like reading a novel, go right ahead 'cause I need to vent.
I got my first hamster when I was 25. My parents never wanted me to have one when I was younger and, as an adult, I thought 'hey, I have my own money and place now, I can do what I want'. So I bought a hamster, but before that, I decided to be responsible and check online for as much care infos as I could.
Hamsters are very misunderstood pets (like betta fishes, for example), because most people have the belief that they can live in very tiny cages and demand very little care, which is not true. The best way I have heard someone describe it is "Surviving vs Living". You can survive locked in a closet, granted you have food and water, but can you really live ? The same goes for hamsters, it's a quality of life thing.
I own a dwarf hamster and his cage is around a meter long, which is just right for him, because he is a small boi. Hamsters. need. space. I have not properly seen the size of the cage her hamsters are in, but at a glance (if i am wrong, i take it back obvs) it looks like those small wire cages you buy at the pet store... Not enough for a dwarf hamster and not enough for a syrian hamster (which is what i'm assuming she has). I would not be surprised if the cage also has a (too small) wire hamster wheel. Wheels need to be adapted to the hamster's size, if their back is curved when they run, it's too small. Wire wheel are also known to cause blisters on their feets and, in some extreme cases, open fractures, or death.
Very few hamsters sleep while uncovered, they prefer to burrow, but to do so, they need a good depth of bedding, around 5-6 inches (thus, the need for a big cage). Let's give the benefit of the doubt to Chantal and say her hamster just likes to sleep in the open, fine, but they are still burrowing animals and need proper bedding depth.
They also need daily care : change water, small clean ups of soiled bedding, washing the wheel which they will probably pee in....
As well as some particular care: their nails will grow, just like any other animal. If she can't cut them herself, she will need to adapt the cage (with some rocks, for example) so that the hamsters can trim their nails naturaly.
Food is also important, they need pellets, but some veggies and small worms for protein.
Finally, hamsters have a very sensitive sense of smell and can be bothered by scents, so those three wicks candles are an obvious no no.
And of course, I know someone is bound to say "I had a hamster when I was young and it lived in a shitty cage and I did none of those things and it was fine". Well, what do you want me to say ? Congrats, I guess. My parents never brought their pets to the vet and my grandma used to get rid of unwanted dog litters by fucking drowning them. Does the fact that someone did something in the past makes it okay to do now ?

I recently lost my baby girl my calico my best friend of almost 7 years just a few days before Christmas. I'm crying every single day. She suddenly had heart failure out of no where. God my heart hurts so bad I don't feel like it will ever heal. We spent every single day together and slept together every single night . She'd lay by me covered up head on my pillow like a little person. I don't know how ffg can deal with all these ppl talking crap on her dogs. All this hurts enough as it is.

Frenchie, all of those who matter no that your dogs were loved immensely. You are right; a vet will give you all the options as a pet owner, but will also offer guidance on the option of euthanasia. When my dog passed, we spent a month just trying to diagnose him and we never fully got there; my vet recommended that we stop all the tests, as the only path forward was to do far more invasive tests, and it would have ruined his quality of life. That is how we knew it was time to let go 💔

Hi gorlgang! Happy new years eve. I have two cats. They're 13y. I wasn't cat person , when my now passed away ex was and always had cats, so I let him to have these two. Went to place to choose them with him and so on. I admit that still not so much cat person, but as a feeling human being I take good care of them! They are my responsibility and of course I have created feelings towards them and wanna protect em. People should do their research and think carefully before having any living thing to their life. She’s an idiot for using what the shopkeeeper said as any kind of truth. Most pet stores are just there to make money and don’t give a crap about the well-being about the animals there. I got a dog from a pet store when I was a child. The seller said the breed didn’t bark much. He was a Yorkie. They’re known to be little barkers. They’re trying to make a sale and will say whatever they need to to get your money. It’s up to the individual to do the proper research AND take them to a vet ASAP. The same Yorkie I was told was healthy by the seller had Kennel Cough and was near fatally ill and contagious, he went to the vet and recovered but the point still stands. They will say anything to have as much inventory kept in the worst condition for profit. Also hamsters are solitary creatures and DON’T LIKE TO BE PICKED UP LIKE THAT CHANTAL. Over handling hamsters can stress them out and shorten their lifespans significantly.
She knows she's overhandling them, too...but, she couldn't care less! She says it almost everytime she starts to pick him up. "Am I overhandling them??" Smh. She hasn't changed at all! Still the selfish piece of crap she always was.

My daughter eats through a tube because she can't by mouth. She has a gastronomy tube. She is one of the happiest and most beautiful girls in the world. A pet is like a child. It's not surprising she has no shame about her horrible treatment of pets.

I’m way late to this but as someone who runs a hamster rescue I gotta say something. I’m in my 40s and I rescue hamsters. It’s weird but I love my hams. So many people abandon these little guys or keep them in tiny plastic houses and get bored after a couple months bc hamsters really don’t care to interact with humans.
They are like tropical fish, you set them up in a sweet habitat and enjoy watching them living their best life. Hamsters are a perfect pet for me because of my busy work schedule. They don’t require the attention as cats and dogs. BUT for hams to thrive, they need a lot of stuff. A HUGE enclosure, wheel, enrichment, bathing sand, chew toys, multiple water sources, correct bedding, nutrition, vet care, nail care. It’s not cheap. I wish pet stores would just stop selling hamsters. Pet stores usually purchase hamsters from hamster mills with lots of inbreeding and illness. Ethical breeder are the way to go if you really want a hamster.
How FB cares for those hams makes my blood boil. What happened to her hamster now? I can’t even keep track of its Harry or Howey or how many she has had. She is burning through hamsters faster than a kindergarten class. Now, FB is sick AF and can barely move. Is the poor ham neglected and living in filth? I doubt salad is cage cleaning. I can’t even. My partner is Persian and doesn’t like pets. I love dogs but it’s just not their thing so I just direct my attention to other things like the garden, work etc. I bet Salah is not a pet guy.
