I hate how she compares other abusive relationships with her chasing a crackhead. I was love bombed so hard, proposed to in 3 months, married in 6 and as soon as we got married and my house sold the monster revealed himself and it was 3 years of hell just trying to get out. I’m a year out from moving away and just now starting to feel better. He found me at my first place, broke in, threatened me, harassed me and now I’m officially divorced and in a new place. The only reason he left me alone was one of his girlfriends agreed to move in with him with her 3 children 😮 I would feel sorry for her but she was with him knowing he was a married man for a long time and didn’t care. I feel sorry for those kids bc their lives will never be the same. My elderly dog was a huge push for me to finally leave bc he stayed sick while we lived with him from anxiety and stress and trying to comfort me after I was hurt. Chantal doesn’t know what abuse is and needs to keep her f’ing mouth shut. This was the arc I started to despise her in.

Yes thank u for sharing. My mom was in an abusive relationship after her & my father broke up. I was 2 years old and from age 2 to 5 I watched her get beat to a pulp. I lived in fear 24/7. Then he started beating me and took me to a gun shop with him after he technically kidnapped me from my grandmother's home. He had zero permission to pick me up and when I got home and my mom & i were alone finally she begged me to tell her what happened ,where we were and I told her about the gun shop. That was the night we left for hood with nothing but clothes on our back, a few of my favorite things and my hamster. Chantal knows nothing about real abuse true abuse.
She doesn't even know what "broke" means. The girl pulled in 10-20K once and left it to be a refugee. I swear, I've never heard of more stupid ass people than on UA-cam, seriously.

My very own grandmother was a victim of being stolen from her home and put in an indigenous boarding school for no reason other than being Native. Her parents had NO SAY and were forced to give her up. She was FORBIDDEN to speak her language (as a result, I don't understand my native tongue), given an new name and had her hair cut as a final low blow. I live in Australia. The first Australians, also called aboriginals, were treated appallingly. Babies where forcefully taken from their mothers and placed on missions. This was called the stolen generation. On Tasmania, a large island that is a state of Australia, first Australians were systematically hunted down and killed till there were a couple of hundred left.
I am not proud of the way my country tried to decimate the first Australians.
I am always surprised by how many people today somehow don't know about the Boarding Schools. "Kill the Indian, Save the Man"...that was the literal motto the American government spread. Which is especially disgusting when one considers that they were taking these people whose cultures had love and respect for the Earth and every creature on it, these people who (for the most part) did not abuse and subjugate women and children, these people who knew more things about what was needed to survive on this planet than white people at the time had any clue about (because their wisdom of that sort was destroyed when Christianity came to Europe and the knowledge was declared "evil" punishable by death), knowledge that, had it been implemented by everyone, would have spared us the potential destruction of our species that we might see from Global Warming....and THAT'S the culture they wanted to "kill". To my knowledge, the beliefs of the Plains tribes were the only religious ceremonies to ever be made illegal in this country. And then, as if it wasn't bad enough to take these people and try to destroy their entire language, culture, and way of life, they abused these children in every way imaginable, filled them with self-hatred, and even, in some cases, murdered them and here we are, decades later, and Natives STILL have had no justice for that or any of the other horrific things the American government (and Canada's as well) put these people through. What the American government did to our Native people with the reservations and the schools was the inspiration for Hitler's concentration camps. This government (and Canada's) owes our Natives so much. Yet the majority of the story is never taught to kids in school (instead pieces of shit like Columbus are glorified still by schools across the nation) and many many people know nothing about the majority of it. It's truly horrific.

Agreed!! I've watched her on and off for around 4 years, but I find it almost unbearable to see her face or hear that smug voice anymore. I think FFG is a brilliant reactor, so I often listen to tiny bits and pause to read the comments at the really vulgar or deeply offensive parts. I don't like how Chantal makes me feel atall anymore. For me, it's gone from laughing at her mild signs of lunacy in the early days, to feeling incredibly frustrated with her during the Nader arc and now she just makes me feel very dark inside.

On the rewatch, my theory is FB was trying to replicate the mainstream media attention she received for the poor taste video she made with the cheese graveyard and the story about Jonestown.
