I first watched Inuyasha when I was still a child and thought it was a typical love story (still loved it tho). I never really understood the love they shared with each other but now that I‘m rewatching it I understand. It reminds me so much of my love and I think it’s crazy how innocent I was just a few years ago. I thought I knew what love was but actually never truly loved someone with all my heart. Now I do and watching Inuyasha and Kagome now makes their love story even more beautiful to me.
It's such a sad situation. If you think about it, it's like time has stopped for Inuyasha while he was sealed to the tree. Him being together with Kikyo was still fresh to him when Kagome released him. And Kikyo also has feelings for him. It's all a cycle of pain as all 3 of them watch each other suffer.
The amazing twist in their story and the main core of the anime really is that Kagome soul/spirit is Kikyo’s, she wanted to reincarnate as Kagome and that’s why she had the Shikon jewel with her and is the only one who can travel between the 2 ages. I don’t know if you needed all that clues but wanted to let you know if u didn’t☺️ but it’s painful to be lived as humans I mean for Kikyo to see Kagome living what she died to have with Inuyasha. I love this anime sooo much it’s my fav! Loved how you explained their situation!
This is the part where i really angry with inuyasha because if koga flirting wiht kagome inuyasha gets so work up but hes hugging and flirting with kikyo .....Thats why i admires kagomes kindhearted...

That means: not wise, selfish, weak, judgmental and not in love! Who will quit so easily after all? Kagome didn’t! And that’s why Inuyasha said what he said in the end❤
100% AGREE✨🙌🙌 kikyo and inuyasha never fully trusted each other and never would have even if they ended up together in the beginning because they both had the same problems. the type of love they had was like friendship or camaraderie as they were both broken and lonely and just needed someone to stick with. From the original manga they hardly knew anything about each other (cuz they didnt trust each other) and just didnt want to be alone anymore. and because they were both broken in the same way/ had the same problems, kikyo wouldve never been able to ‘heal’ inuyashas heart and insecurities like kagome did. its because of who kagome is as a person that she was able to heal inuyasha. ❤️
