Thanks for the reaction. LOVEBITES are the GODDESSES of heavy metal! LOVEBITES is a phenomenal band, all the ladies are talented, extraordinarily technical musicians ! But, unfortunately, for most metal fans in Europe and America, LOVEBITES is like a distant planet in the Galaxy, the existence of which they do not even suspect.
Yeah. As close to perfection as there ever has been. Take them out of the box of Japanese and female. Been listening to metal since 1971. For me, best ever is Lovebites.
They are phenomenal musicians. Elite level talents. Dive deeper, they just get more impressive. The Japanese metal/rock scene is the best in the world currently. If you haven't already you need to check out Nemophila, Band-Maid and Hanabie. All are awesome..
It's the problem I have when I found Lovebites. They became the bar, and almost everything else just doesn't do it for me anymore because I have experienced perfection. Most other bands I listen to are just bringing something unique to the table to get me interested enough to enjoy them. But Lovebites I listen to because they create the best metal music I have ever heard.
Glad you came right back to Lovebites. You will not be disappointed in anything you watch from them. I also think a lot of their MV's are very much worth reacting to.

There are many great rock bands in japan. I love LOVEBITES so much. The reason I love them is not because they are japanese. Simply、They are fantastic. It’s unparalleled.
You don't have to apologize dude. I and many of guys here wouldn't mind pausing in the middle of guitar solo as long as you have a reason for that. If you need to make relevant comments for that moment. If you make technical explanations for the performance at that moment, or even your relevant personal feeling, but better avoid stop it just for saying OMG, wow, OK, or alright.
Since you appreciate technically strong bands, some others you need to see are Unlucky Morpheus, Nemophila and Wagakki Band. All of them are packed with jedi-level musicians. I do agree Lovebites are the benchmark right now, but all of those bands are amazing.
These Ladies are friggin awesome, pick a song, any song, doesn't matter as there are no bad songs, music is great, lyrics are great, videos are great, LIVE is EVEN better, they do not disappoint
You have hit the nail on the head regarding this band. I'm 62, and I have seen the best this genre has to offer but Lovebites are way and above anything I have witnessed on stage!!.....and then you stopped in the middle of a bass solo 😂😂😂
That was the first think I thought of too, LOL. He's trying, so have to give him a pass for now. But yeah, he stopped in the middle of the bass solo now.
please help spread the word, this band's label does very little to promote them outside of Asia, and it's through Social Media with UA-cam reactions such as yours here that they have gotten to where they are internationally, and they very much deserve to be a big name on metal's big stage.
Just a friendly tip if I may. You've somehow converted the original stereo sound into mono. This significantly decreases the quality of the listening experience for your viewers. You might need to fiddle with some settings with whatever software you use to ensure that you retain the original video's sound quality. Having good sound is important and will help you grow your channel.
Thanks for a LOVEBITES reaction, a band (imo) unsurpassed in composition, lyricism, arrangement & performance. The significant aural advantages of stereo-audio was discovered & affirmed back in 1881 in France by Clément Ader, specifically in relation to music listening. LOVEBITES routinely send all multi-tracks to Finnvox in Finland for stereo mixing & mastering by the renowned team of Mikko & Mika. Converting their music to mono diminishes the depth, dynamics & clarity of the individual instruments depriving listeners of what their music really sounds like, hiding their detail & precision to a great extent. Please alter your system to retain the unaltered original stereo-mix for the benefit of all of us. 🐺 dreg👁
I put them easily in the top three, alongside Dream Theater and Symphony-X. Although neither of those bands have twin lead guitars, so you don't get harmonised solos, which is one of the things I like about LOVEBITES' music.
@@1970Phoenix, I have seen DT and X on the same venue, however Lovebites are on the same level as technically brilliant with DT with Mike Portnoy as drummer. Trying to imagine Haruna and Portnoy drum off 😏!!
@@LongStroke01 DT and SyX have keyboard players, which battle the guitar players. Petrucci and Romeo are top-tier wizards. Pinella is excellent on the keys, and Jordan Rudess is literally a wizard. I would like to see Miyako do more keyboard work in Lovebites. I would also like to see Miyako bust-out a shamisen once in awhile! That would be SICK. 😁

Lovebites Fans are passionate with their Music art. They realize Lovebites may be the Greatest thing they have witnessed in music since the hey day of their other Most favorite artist's. You hear Everything from Metallica - Queen - Rainbow - Slayer - RacerX - Megadeth - Mr.Big - Bach - Chopin ,etc..... They are the Mix Masters of Metal in that they take everything that we know works well and they spin a modern and original take on the whole thing. If this band hit the stage in the US in say 1984 they would be as Big right now as say Slayer or Megadeth or any other metal band one can name. No worries about pausing just go back when you replay.
This particular song, I love how much joy they show. Smiles all around (even Miako a little). Fami is the new bassist and she’s a firecracker. I think the best Midori/Miako guitar duel is “Judgement Day”. 1:10 of unpausable glory!
Hi from France: Japanese rock has been dominated in recent years by 3 phenomenal bands. These 3 bands are quintets. It's 3 groups are all girls bands: LOVEBITES Band Maid and Nemophila. You can listen without reservation, you will never be disappointed... And above all listen to them live!!!
LOVEBITES next songs same live show Judgement Day, Stand And Deliver, LIAR, Dissonance, Soldier Stand Solitarily, Break The Wall, cover song Pain Killer(Judas Priest) Check new bassist Fami channel do bass cover Alien Alien(viewed 10M++) Another TOP Japanese female Rock/Metal Bands that will make you speechless and blown away.... BAND-MAID live songs Hate, Don't You Tell Me( both songs with bass and guitar battle) NEMOPHILA live songs ZEN, AMA TE RAS, Seize The Fate, Rise, Revive, Dissension, Raitei, ADABANA... ASTERISM(female guitarist) songs Dawn, Rising Moon, Church, Lights In The Darkness, Burned, Blaze(all songs with crazy guitar and 7string bass solos)
If you like Asami's ballet-type expression, I suggest "Swan Song" with the Chopin intro from the Five of a Kind show in 2020, and "Frozen Serenade" (only one official live video available, I believe). The specific "Swan Song" version is suggested for: 1) the Chopin piano intro, and 2) the audio quality. However, Asami is not the only star in those performances.
Im 72 and have heard it all... These girls are definitely as you say "God tier" in all of metal. Enjoying yr reviews Watch the live videos... Might as well suggest "Holy War" and "Scream for Me" and all of their songs
Thanks for this great reaction. Yep...I am a metalhead since I was 17 years....but these ladies just struck me like lightning. Enjoy going trough the rabbit hole. Greetings from Switzerland 🤘🏽🔥
Classic LOVEBITES is a good place to start.......Some of newer recordings lack the sound quality for some reason (they did have top notch sound engineers, don't know what happened)
Big Lovebites and Deviloof fan here. For me Lovebites is one of the best bands ive heard. Got that power/thrash old school sound feel that i love and awesome song writing!🤘
Lovebites has brought me into the hard metal scene with their energy minus the raspy edges. I like your honest reaction to them, so I subscribed to see and hear more. This is my fav heavy metal band. However, you may want to give The Warning a try to see a hard rock trio. If you do, I recommend starting with their 2023 VMA video of the song Evolve. Rock on!
This comment will sound weird until you know more about LOVEBITES, the members, how they interact with each other and with fans. There’s a historical reason why that song being played with huge grins on faces. It’s the reason I flew to Japan to be 10 feet in front of Vocalist Asami at that concert, on that day. But LOVEBITES are not the greatest band of all time because of their music, their prowess, their live performances. Your comparison with an onion is spot on. EVERYTHING about the band, the music, the lyrics, their personalities, their humour, their thoughtfulness creates a unique band, the likes of which I have never seen in 64 years and it’s why your last reaction took off. I find it hard to believe that anyone can listen to LOVEBITES and come away just thinking “yeah, they’re good”. This band has more “instant, lifelong” fans than probably any other. It takes seconds to recognise it, it’s an enjoyable experience and you never want it to end. They have become like family members to me. They are an integral part of my daily life.
Personally, stopping during solos doesn't bother me as long as the reactor doesn't keep continually stopping. What is a problem (for me) is not hearing Midori in my left ear and Miyako in my right. It would be nice to get that ironed out.
Yes, LOVEBITES, are on god tier. Another Japanese metal band also on God tier, although male, therefore not as compelling to look at, isthe band, Galneryus. As with LOVEBITES, Galneryus is also very proficient. Also, their live vids are better than their MV. Try their song,"Angel of Salvation" the live one.
There are some Japanese bands that are in the same level in my opinion. A bit different styles though so it is hard to compare. GALNERYUS / Angel of Salvation (live). Versailles / Faith and decision (live) the first half is instrumental!
Yeah Lovebites....... yeah. No need to much words to say. Just one - Lovebites, and that's all. I'm new subscriber and want to recommend the song Glory to the world. Your choice pic the video or live version from We are the resurrection tour 2021 Tokyo. It's up to you, enjoy.
Yep, unfortunately the audio has been downgraded to mono, which also messes up the volumes of the guitar solos too, I'm not sure if that's the cause of the tiny glitches/stutters though.
LOVEBITES 🐺🤘🏼 UNLUCKY MORHEUS - Black Pentagram Live (next) NEMOPHILA - any música Band Maid Top Tier playlist Rock banda from Japan 🤘🏼 Listen And Enjoy🐺🤘🏼
Yup, yup and yup :) So, whilst it's a matter of opinion, I would say the most ripping trading solo, is in the song Judgement Day. The live of that absolutely slaps. If you want to see a different side to them check out Frozen Serenade. If you want to go even further to the other end of their spectrum check out Edge Of The World. And if you want to check out some of Miyako's other skills (dark haired guitarist) check Swan Song with the Chopin intro, that version specifically, the other version lacks the intro and the mix is a bit off. Lastly, if you want to check out the song that is the most chaotic, I would go with Winds Of Transylvania. But obviously, do whatever takes your fancy, all just suggestions. Also, further thought. I have found for a lot of Lovebites fans the band they often feel comes in close second for them (it's not a universal opinion, and of course it's all subjective taste wise) is the band Nemophila. If you fancy giving them a shot then a good intro would be NEMOPHILA / REVIVE [Official Live Video]. The one from 9 months back is the bigger set so probably the better version to react to for visuals (fire in the thumbnail for the video) All female band again, 2 amazing lead guitarists again, some trading solos sometimes.
Most ripping trading solos - Judgement Day may be the best, but some others are close - Shadowmaker, When Destinies Align, and Soldier Stands Solitarily also come to mind.
Spokane here 🤘 @DMOE Reacts Are you going to see Hanabie in Seattle on May 29? They are playing the Crocodile, and it it looks like tickets are still available. I'll be there.
Personally, it doesn't really bother me if you interrupt a solo, especially if you roll back at the beginning after your intervention. To me, the most cardinal sin that a reactor can do is not providing a link to the original video in the description. I may check your other videos and if I find something that I like, it's great if you give me an easy way to go see the original.
I may be wrong, but I think either your bass level is too high, or your treble is too low. Also, if no one has done so, for more Japanese metal, check out Nemophila. I like "Adabana," but you could also try ""Dissension" or "Ame-te-Ras."
great song.. but my only complaint is who ever mixed these new live shows did a poor job. you CANT hear the GUITARS...dang it. just about every songs you can barely hear the guitars! older live versions were great.. what happened?
"God tier" I like that but you may have peaked too early with your platitudes at 2 songs in. You have over 50 awesome tracks to do and you'll run out of words of praise. BTW the music videos are great too (especially When Destinies Align IMO) it's just that the live videos add such a great dynamic. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Miyako, the one who was pregnant, is also a world class concert pianist. Just wait until you see her shredding on the piano and blending classical with heavy metal. She is a musical genius who also composes many of their songs.😊

please help spread the word, this band's label does very little to promote them outside of Asia, and it's through Social Media with UA-cam reactions such as yours here that they have gotten to where they are internationally, and they very much deserve to be a big name on metal's big stage.

Best Japanese metal band? Best female metal band? Wrong, they are the most talented band that I know of...Period.
I put them easily in the top three, alongside Dream Theater and Symphony-X. Although neither of those bands have twin lead guitars, so you don't get harmonised solos, which is one of the things I like about LOVEBITES' music.
@@1970Phoenix The harmonized solos is why I put them over Dream Theater.
@@1970Phoenix, I have seen DT and X on the same venue, however Lovebites are on the same level as technically brilliant with DT with Mike Portnoy as drummer. Trying to imagine Haruna and Portnoy drum off 😏!!
@@1970Phoenix I agree. Symphony-X was my favorite band for a long time. But now, it's Lovebites.

Hi from France:
Japanese rock has been dominated in recent years by 3 phenomenal bands. These 3 bands are quintets. It's 3 groups are all girls bands:
LOVEBITES
Band Maid
and Nemophila.
You can listen without reservation, you will never be disappointed...
And above all listen to them live!!!
LOVEBITES next songs same live show Judgement Day, Stand And Deliver, LIAR, Dissonance, Soldier Stand Solitarily, Break The Wall, cover song Pain Killer(Judas Priest)
Check new bassist Fami channel do bass cover Alien Alien(viewed 10M++)
Another TOP Japanese female Rock/Metal Bands that will make you speechless and blown away....
BAND-MAID live songs Hate, Don't You Tell Me( both songs with bass and guitar battle)
NEMOPHILA live songs ZEN, AMA TE RAS, Seize The Fate, Rise, Revive, Dissension, Raitei, ADABANA...
Enjoying yr reviews
Watch the live videos...
If you did not know it's mono and mono destroys all the fun and effort the ladys work so hart!
Classic LOVEBITES is a good place to start.......Some of newer recordings lack the sound quality for some reason (they did have top notch sound engineers, don't know what happened)
❤❤❤❤❤🐺🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 Miyako !!!! 💗
Big Lovebites and Deviloof fan here. For me Lovebites is one of the best bands ive heard. Got that power/thrash old school sound feel that i love and awesome song writing!🤘
your sorry, accepted,
continues your loves for lovebites, sir. 😊
Yes no one is better than them period
Is it you or UA-cam that’s rushing the video? I noticed it in the last video too.
I noticed it too.
Try keeping the track in stereo for your videos. They lose so much quaility when they turn mono. The guitar solos could hardly be heard.
In the majority of their songs, Midori can be heard on the left side and Miyako is on the right side when listening through stereo headphones! 😍
I loved your reaction This band it's simply AMAZING
All the others are GREAT and I mean GREAT, but LOVEBITES are far above.
🤟🏻🔥Lovebites🐺Perfection🔥🤘🏻
Gracias por la reacción a mi banda favorita
GOOO‼️
Nice words. You need to continue with "Break The Wall" Live from ZEP Divercity Tokyo. It'll show the contrast of characters of Miyako and Midori.
Set The World On Fire
Miyako is the"Thousand -fingered Kwannon"
There are some Japanese bands that are in the same level in my opinion. A bit different styles though so it is hard to compare. GALNERYUS / Angel of Salvation (live). Versailles / Faith and decision (live) the first half is instrumental!
Yeah Lovebites....... yeah. No need to much words to say. Just one - Lovebites, and that's all. I'm new subscriber and want to recommend the song Glory to the world. Your choice pic the video or live version from We are the resurrection tour 2021 Tokyo. It's up to you, enjoy.
Lovebites the best heavy metal band!!! Midori💚💚💚💚💚
Mount Rushmore? I'd say they're one of the eight wonders of the heavy metal world.
Nice reaction, but there is something off with the sound. I feel like it's skipping or something is missing somehow. can't put my finger on it.
Stereo converted to mono, unfortunately.
Yep, unfortunately the audio has been downgraded to mono, which also messes up the volumes of the guitar solos too, I'm not sure if that's the cause of the tiny glitches/stutters though.
LOVEBITES 🐺🤘🏼
UNLUCKY MORHEUS - Black Pentagram Live (next)
NEMOPHILA - any música
Band Maid
Top Tier playlist Rock banda from Japan 🤘🏼
Listen And Enjoy🐺🤘🏼
Yup, yup and yup :)
So, whilst it's a matter of opinion, I would say the most ripping trading solo, is in the song Judgement Day.
The one from 9 months back is the bigger set so probably the better version to react to for visuals (fire in the thumbnail for the video)
All female band again, 2 amazing lead guitarists again, some trading solos sometimes.
Most ripping trading solos - Judgement Day may be the best, but some others are close - Shadowmaker, When Destinies Align, and Soldier Stands Solitarily also come to mind.
Agreed@@ChadTheDragonLord
YESSSSS Seattle Mariners fan
Yes sir! I will be at the opening game 🔥💪
Spokane here 🤘 @DMOE Reacts Are you going to see Hanabie in Seattle on May 29? They are playing the Crocodile, and it it looks like tickets are still available. I'll be there.
@@Timber1508 I want to go really bad but I need to see if I can coordinate it with my employer 🙄
🤘
💯👍👍👍
❣🤘🐺🤘🐺🤘🐺🤘🐺🤘🐺🤘❣
Personally, it doesn't really bother me if you interrupt a solo, especially if you roll back at the beginning after your intervention. To me, the most cardinal sin that a reactor can do is not providing a link to the original video in the description. I may check your other videos and if I find something that I like, it's great if you give me an easy way to go see the original.
What is ironic is that this song was written by Miho!!!
I may be wrong, but I think either your bass level is too high, or your treble is too low.
Also, if no one has done so, for more Japanese metal, check out Nemophila. I like "Adabana," but you could also try ""Dissension" or "Ame-te-Ras."
Unlucky Morpheus is amazing too.
Yeah fenomenal..why ? becouse nowadays play best metal on our fucking planet!
great song.. but my only complaint is who ever mixed these new live shows did a poor job. you CANT hear the GUITARS...dang it.
just about every songs you can barely hear the guitars! older live versions were great.. what happened?
Are you purposely skipping the video?
"God tier" I like that but you may have peaked too early with your platitudes at 2 songs in. You have over 50 awesome tracks to do and you'll run out of words of praise. BTW the music videos are great too (especially When Destinies Align IMO) it's just that the live videos add such a great dynamic. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
You haven seen where the bar is set because you haven't heard Miyako on piano yet. Brace yourself.
