GR8 reaction bro!!! And I will say..... Welcome to the Wolfpack (the name for Lovebites fans!!) I always enjoy seeing people after they've been "BITTEN" by LOVEBITES!!!!! Next by Lovebites I would suggest Nameless Warrior (the live performance from Knocking at Heavens Gate from March of 2023, which was their "comeback" show after 2 years. Original bassist Miho, who was the co-founder of Lovebites along with the drummer Haruna; left the band in August 2021.) This was also the debut show with new bassist Fami! Also, from the same show, the songs Hammer of Wrath, Liar, Stand and Deliver, and Judgement Day!!! And what could be fun is to react to the music video for Judgement Day 1st and then react to the live. Following that, I would recommend doing Lovebites "E" trilogy; the 3 songs being Edge of the World (live from the 2020 show at Zepp Diver City. The same show as Holy War); Empty Daydream and Epilogue. I enjoy your reactions and just subbed!!!! Keep Rocking!!!!🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥⚡️🎸🥁🎸⚡️🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘
Welcome back to Lovebites ! For something slightly different, check out a track that showcases how truly talented this band is - "A Frozen Serenade" LIVE : ua-cam.com/video/sEjN7dAh4ok/v-deo.html
This was my introduction to LOVEBITES, and yes I was blown away too. Often the intro for reactors as well. You haven't met the new bassist ,Fami, yet. To do so, try "Judgement Day", "Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)", or "Hammer of Wrath" from the 2023 Knockin' At Heaven's gate concerts. There are still 4 and 3 piece bands, not all have gone to 5 piece. Halestorm is a 4 piece, LOVEbites is named after their song "Love Bites (So Do I). And a 3 piece I highly recommend you check out, they are an all female rock band called "The Warning", try "Evolve" live from the 2023 mtv video music awards.
LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics: Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood People live in fear, covered in mud Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters There is a thousand, a thousand of evils Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore SOLO: midori Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall Reincarnation, wait for your call Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters Morning star and dying moon Into the Gates of Hell we march Mighty soul, let there be hope Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight? But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for Only have one thing on our mind Facing the fate, holy war SOLO: miyako / midori / both Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight? Well here are a few songs to show the diverse and insane talent of the band. Frozen Serenade LIVE ua-cam.com/video/sEjN7dAh4ok/v-deo.html You have guitars, piano, acoustic guitar, and ballet dance....... Swan Song with Chopin piano intro ua-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/v-deo.html Piano, guitar and piano an epic masterpiece. Empty Daydream LIVE ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html Piano, backing vocals, and gang vocals another wicked treasure. Welcome to the Wolfpack (fanbase) and remember you will never be disappointed although you will often be surprised. BTW I give you a 3 piece band Asterism high school kids who are insanely talented and while all instrumental they are insane. Try Dawn LIVE at a small club ua-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/v-deo.html you will be blown away.
'Holy War' is the perfect song to give LOVEBITES their first bite, as it has a balanced distribution of their skills. As such, it is also the first song that Wolfpack want Reactor to listen to. In case you're wondering, the picking parts are often misunderstood because they're focused on one at a time, but in fact all three of them do all three parts at the same time.
“has a balanced distribution of their skills” Judgement Day has a better balance of skills between guitars, bass, and vocals, while being overall more impressive in all categories. It would seem to me, that Miyako and Asami have improved a bit. I don’t see any justification for Holy War being a first recommendation. Judgement Day also has both a music video and live version available.
@@SomethingToDo360 You can't say that 3 years ago. Holy War for first introduction performance is already like a tradition. It has amazing audio mix and very clean tone on the bass. You will rarely see people first time reacting to Lovebites with "Judgement Day". Maybe just a couple reactor do that. Since 2020, Holy War is always getting requested as an introduction song for new reactor, and Idk why. But I'm pretty sure, it's because it has "Balance distribution of their skill".
@@dragulia_venaro ‘You can't say that 3 years ago.” Times change. “Holy War is always getting requested as an introduction song for new reactor, and Idk why". There was a time when there wasn’t much else available, so people recommended it then, and it has since been a habit/pattern that is hard to break. This is true even though Holy War often falls outside fans top 5 favorites; so fans don’t even know why it is recommended, they just think others want it. When you ask them, no one actually knows why (or has a good reason). I also think certain songs like A Frozen Serenade, are often what the reactors themselves label a masterpiece (it’s hard to go entirely by the fanbase, because some think everything is a masterpiece), while songs like Holy War are usually never referred to as such. For songs like Set the World on Fire, which is also recommended a lot as a first reaction, I think it makes more sense as a pick, although it wouldn’t be my first pick.

yup. if they didn't really like the fast paced music, there's still Asami's powerful voice for them. the same goes with the opposite too. if they're not a fan of Asami's style, there's still an amazing dual guitarist for them. or Haruna as a Plan B for them😂
2 lead guitarists in metal bands have been standard since the 1970s. But there are many bands that have succeeded with one guitarists, ie Ozzy with Randy Rhodes.
Having two lead guitarists instead of a lead and rhythm has been a pretty common thing since the 1970s. Styx, Damn Yankees, Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Night Ranger, Slayer, Megadeth, Def Leppard, Dragonforce, among many others, are all dual lead-guitar bands.
yet they tried to looks shine better than the other guitarist in the band. they always think about competition of who's the better guitarist in the band. no appreciation to others. just trying to be the best in the band. that's the difference between Lovebites and those legends.
It could be argued that one of the first Dual Lead bands were The Yardbirds, a British band from the 1960's. At one point they had both Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page in the line up. Eric Clapton is another guitarist who was part of the band in their early days before joining Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce to form Cream. (Yes, I am that old lol 😄)
Love these ladies but the concept of dual leads, trading off licks was created in the late 60's/early 70'as by Duane Allman and Dicky Betts of the Allman Brothers Band but Myako and Midori Rock it to the max!
Before you demand 5 people in a band, check out The Warning. They are a trio. Three sisters from Mexico. I have seen them life just two weeks ago in Munich, and on stage they sound as full as any five-piece. Check out Hell you cal a Dream from the Pepsi Center Show a few months ago. So I would suggest: a band is a band if it sounds like a band. And yes: Lovebites is a BAND! Will see them in June, and man am I looking forward to it.
You know I've seen other SO-CALLED reactors complain about Asami's Vocals. Saying about her in this particular performance how BAD SHE IS. PERSONALLY I THINK THEY WOULDN'T KNOW A GOOD SINGER IF ONE SMACKED THEM ACROSS THE FACE. Funnily enough think they also said MIYAKO WASN'T A GOOD GUITARIST. LMAO Long time since ive been to those channels. Don't see anything from them anymore. Shame NOT. This is one of the best bands ever. And strangely enough most of the best are all coming out of Japan in recent years. Nemophila(worried now Saki has left tho). MAXIMUM THE HORMONE. BABYMETAL (WELL EXCEPT THE LAST 2 ALBUMS WHICH PERSONALLY I DON'T LIKE. EXCEPT 1 OR 2 SONGS). BAND MAID. ETC
I am laughing so bad watching you wonder whats in your beard. Sadly, NON PG thoughts have entered my head. As in maybe you gave a few "Lovebites" to someone of your own. 😎LOL. Oh yeah, great reaction. :)
Lovebites does not disappoint! My favorite band! Thanks for the support!🤘🏼
Judas Priest started the trend of one singer, one drummer, one bassist and two lead guitarists. Lovebites just perfected it.

I'd say the version from "Heavy Metal Never Dies" 2021 is even better.
The penultimate note from Asami in that performance is AMAZING!!
'Holy War' is the perfect song to give LOVEBITES their first bite, as it has a balanced distribution of their skills. As such, it is also the first song that Wolfpack want Reactor to listen to.
