The excitement is building now, you must be buzzing! We can’t help you with the trip, but we’ll be definitely following you 👍 I hope you’re both keeping well x
Hope you have a great time, can’t wait to see your Moroccan adventure, we want to explore there at some point - lots of swimming spots here in central France Nikki but none of them hot springs! 🥶 Have fun you two!
We love the lakes especially Ambleside which is not far from Keswick. We are on the 1st week of our 6 week break to Spain. We planned to drive through France in 3 days with first stop Valencia .Still in France due the sad devastating news in Valencia ,found a lovely aire with electric on the beach in Capbreton for €8.90 per night. The weather has been glorious , heading for Spain tomorrow and will decide which part tomorrow. Have a lovely wedding and honeymoon, looking forward to your next vlog we may bump into you .Safe travels x
@@EricaPearson-gg1yf Capbreton looks like it’s on the route we decided to take following the recent horrific suffering in Valencia. Will check it out. We nearly went to the aire in Ambleside so we could fit a mountain bike ride in, but were just running out of time to get sorted for this week. Let us know any great finds you make in Spain as we’ve not really done it apart from our first time there last year for a cheeky dash to Benidorm :) so any help is welcome. And definitely keep in touch in case we can catch up in the sun
Congratulations and we cant wait to see what you get up to! We did a two week trip to the south of France this year using the Hull/Rotterdam ferry (it was supposed to be Germany but it was flooded). Its quite slow going through the Netherlands and Belgium, we are over 3.5t so have lower speed limits in the Low Countries, you will be able to go faster. I didn't stop and only managed to get as far as the Troyes area by around 5pm. If you parked at the back of the boat and get off toward the end you can be an hour getting through the controls and on your way. If you have not been before try to get to check in early in Hull to get a spot on the front, it also gets you in the bar earlier!
Yep we’ve used the ferry a few times as it’s just down the road from us. Last time we were stuck as no one had turned up for work at customs when we got there :) ferry back was in rough weather and the band were falling off stage :) I also like to be early to get to the bar and plus want to book nice table in the bistro as it’s a honeymoon after all. Been a lot of flooding in Spain this week
Congratulations on picking up your wedding rings guys. It's really not long now is it! Hopefully you get lots of great suggestions for your growing map, but you'll no doubt find your own little gems too 😊
Maybe over-sharing when you say there were fireworks the night you met! Naughty 😂😂😂. All the best for your wedding day and finger's crossed for good weather ❤. Extreme motorhoming Adventures have lots of active style travel vlogs and also take their bikes. Good luck on your travels and have a fabulous time, Debs x x
Ha ha there were none of those shenanigans :) Nikki probably means we argued as we are very different people :) She was also only after my bottle of Whiskey! We watch Extreme Motorhoming but cheers for the heads. I have been told we can only take one set of bikes so it’s the gravel bikes. No MTBs until next year.
Hi hope the wedding and your adventures run smoothly I was just wondering how you got around the new rules since Brexit that limit the amount of time you can spend in Europe ?
@@rachaelhuxtable8064 hi. We haven’t is the short answer. By going to Morocco you are out of the Schengen so that month or so won’t count. The day you travel from and to Spain does so you have to do the math carefully. Unfortunately no Irish grandmas etc and can’t get a German one as Billy was born in military hospital. If his mum had got caught short it might have been possible :)
PS one of our friends got a 6 month visa for the French ski season. She does have an apartment there but think it’s based on proving you have a certain level of income coming in or in the bank plus private health care. So it is doable. Spain, Greece etc all have non working visas based on proving you have income in the bank
Congratulations to you both on your wedding and happy adventures with the van following you all the way safe travels
Thank you. Starting to panic about the amount to do for next week :) but sure it’ll be ‘alreet’ as they say here

@@nadinecastleman9628 we may be going across central France and in to Spain on the west after the floods in the south east

Don’t forget the industrial size Yorkshire tea 😉 Safe travels 🚐 T&T 😘
@@tntadventures6697 Nikki is a weirdo green tea drinker and Billy is a non tea drinker. Apparently a crime in Yorkshire :)
