oh thank you I had no idea the parade was such fun... thought it was just military bands and carriages... and the foreshore was well populated with lovely people and good finds... big smiles to you
Imagine my surprise when I saw my favourite mudlark, Nicola White, on Amazing Stock, which is a UA-cam channel about recent archeological finds! Even better Nicola had shred her find of a wooden dog thought to be from the Congo, with us, her loyal fans, several months ago! I’m writing this congratulations here because I don’t have an Instagram account and don’t really know any other way to reach you. Thank you Nicola. You have provided this Prescott, Arizona teacher hours of entertainment. I was particularly impressed with your challenge to school aged children to produce videos during the lockdown. It was a wonderful way to keep students engaged at an extremely stressful period. I will see you on your next post. Stay safe.
I think you outdid yourself with this one, Nicola! A beautiful video with impeccable editing and perfect music. Your friends on the foreshore are so lovely - Fran with her spectacular finds and beautiful shy smile, Kasia with her sweet face and enthusiastic pride in her finds, Caroline with her twinkling eyes and the meticulous care she takes with her finds, and Sean with his self-effacing manner and that fantastic previous find of the intact pilgrim badge! Treasures themselves, every one, helping to make your Jubilee day mudlark extra special. Even the birds gave you quite a bit of a show! I loved the footage of the goose and gull eating their crabs and the whole bird contingent seeming to stop for a moment to honor the Queen along with the sounding of the boat horns. Loved the shots of the crowd for the Trooping of the Colors and the fun parade and all the archived footage interspersed. It was so well and professionally done! And, though you were busy orchestrating all of this, you managed to find the fantastic pipe and that token with the clasped hands or handshake. You are a big part of why I look forward to Sundays! ☀️🌼☀️🌼☀️
No one does it quite like the Brits! It was wonderful and I'm so glad you showed these beautiful scenes because I didn't get to see much of this. God bless Her Majesty. She's done a magnificent job. May she live long and be blessed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren
Excellent show, lovely Platinum Lark. Historic. I’ve had the good fortune to have had 3 visits to London over the years. Visited my dad’s WW2 101 Sqn Ludford area. Spent a bit of time with my fellow retired Canadian service members taking in the changing of the Guard. Thanks for the clips of the celebrations. Always love to see what bits you discovered.
Fantastic video. Love the jubilee stuff, especially seeing The Red Arrows ❤️🤍💙. My late dad recalled meeting the queen and Prince Phillip in the 1950s when they visited Sri Lanka a few months after her coronation. My dad was in the Air Force and were detailed to provide security. He said they were an incredibly beautiful couple in their younger years. He also said they weren’t as much trouble as some other world leaders.
Thank you for the parade coverage. I was not about to stay up in the early hours of the morning here in Western Canada to see the live coverage, but your little video, I thought really caught the atmosphere better than the bland news coverage that I did get to see. :-)
I know what you mean. I live in the western US & was having similar time zone issues. I feel like I got to see some of the most interesting & fun parts thanks to Nicola!
Hi, Nicola. Susan from Shelburne here. This was a double gift, as I got to enjoy the mudlarking, as well as watching some parade highlights. It was forty years ago, on my first visit to London (and a few years before I married an Englishman!), that I got a private tour of the Royal Mews, and got to sit in the coronation carriage. Fortunately I still have a photo of that occasion!
How grand and wonderful is Our Queen. I live in Vermont but my mother was English, and she admired the queen as I do. Beautiful video Nic. ♥️ Bless you🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧
Nicola, I miss you so much,we don't see enough of you in your videos. I'm AmericanPatriot 1776. I know it's probably hard, but you are so calm and creative and lovely. The historical parts that you describe have always been a wonderful past time for me to watch. I changed my name to RebelsBestFriend because of Rebel the baby eaglet hatched earlier this year. Rebel was one of triplet eaglet hatched, Rebel, Honor and Glory. Stay so sweet and I will always be coming back. I love you!
Oh, I loved seeing all the Jubilee festivities and those flyovers! I saw Simon posted a few, but not from closer to the stuff. In 1967, or maybe '68, my folks took us to London and we were there for Elizabeth's birthday parade rehearsal. I had been trying to remember the nice police officer we had talked to and then my sister called and asked about it and "John" just popped out. What's that? 55 years? Mind you, I remembered it for years, but it hadn't come up for a few decades... Really, there had only been 8 to 10 years of age difference and at my age then, I was starting to look like a young lady. Mind you, I could still get into movies at a child's price at 17, it was just the way I dressed...
Better shots of the parade than I could find on "official" channels! Really glad to hear the church bells & boats & geese from the Thames--and glad she provided you with other Jubilee memorabilia!!
What a fabulous way to enjoy the Platinum Jubilee celebrations from across the pond! And you even managed to squeeze in some mudlarking with some equally fabulous finds, to boot, Nic! Thank you so much for this great video and for letting us meet so many of your fellow mudlarks.
Hahahahahaha! I love the guy being carried away like a log of wood! Thank you sooo much for sharing this special occasion with us. Nicola! It was sooo beautiful and such an accomplishment! ( : How cool is it all different nationalities are represented in the parade! I love that! ( : What a fun ending, chasing the parade down the street! ( : That was a blast to watch! Thank you sooo much for sharing!
Thank you so much Nicola for sharing the parade! We didn’t get to see that part here stateside. We got to see highlights of the Queen watching the 70 planes, or was that when she was unable to attend? The whole thing was so historic! What a celebration! Oddly when the 70 planes went over…Si Finds was on the foreshore watching all the jets fly over. Really cool when you think about it. You on the streets and Simon on the beach at the same time, watching the same thing! Small world. The Queen looks very frail now a days. She is getting up there in age, but still beautiful non the less. Thanks again, this was very special. ❤️❤️❤️
6;26 love how the 1st goose was walking and stumbled on the rock, the other looked at it, then at the camera,, like" LOL ,,, did you get that on film, then"
Thank you for showing what the Jubilee was like for the regular British out to have a good time and celebrate their beloved Monarch. Today's vlog goes so well with your channel as you present everyday life of everyday people as displayed in the artifacts they have left behind. Yours will be a valuable remembrance in years to come.
I met Caroline on my first ever mudlark last month, she was lovely and so helpful. I was inspired by you Nicola, to give my top bucket list thing a go, and it was so worth the trip! Since my permit is good for two years I hope to get back! I found several complete-ish pipes, a wig curler which was my favorite thing, lots of pins, and loads of pottery! Thank you!!
Thank you for showing the parade! It was delightful and quirky and not like any parade that I'd ever seen before. What great fun! You showed us more than what was televised here in the USA. Our news footage was mostly tabloid fodder of Royal family /American gossip and controversy which had nothing to do with your Queen's glorious 70 years as Monarch. Thank you so much. Yours is truly the best UA-cam channel of all.
I loved this special jubilee edition of mud larking! I’m an American who has English ancestry and I am, in fact, a major Anglophile!! I LOVE London. My late soul mate was a Londoner, member of Scotland Yard and once had the honor of being guard to Princess Margaret. I love the Queen and I really enjoyed the footage of the parade at the end. Long live the Queen! And of course I always love seeing what you find at the whim of the Thames. This was extra special!!!🇺🇸🇬🇧
An historic occasion indeed ,and of course it wouldn't be the same if not attended by our own Queen of the Thames Mudlarkers her highness Queen Nicola. You looked truly regal .in your characteristic matelot top ,hair shining like gold amid throngs of other celebrants. Thanks for all the sights and sounds .The BBC and CBC did us proud covering every aspect of the Jubilee in Canada .We flew the Union flag and our entrance was a mass of Red white and blue flowers just for the occasion. Trust you to celebrate down in the mud with your friends with some very historic finds .Thanks Nicola truly a historic vlog really Platinum class indeed X
This was an especially good video! As an avid, lifelong birder I appreciate the footage of the various birds and waterfowl. Your finds and those of fellow mudlarks are so interesting. As a mixed media and assemblage artist I swoon! True treasure! I'm not fond of parades, wasn't even as a child, but the footage you shared of THIS parade was FANTASTIC and the music you used was just perfect! So enjoyable. Thank you, ThaNk yOu, THANK YOU!!
Love watching what you find. Thank you for sharing some of the Queens celebration. What a treat. Congratulations your majesty Queen Elizabeth on your 70 years on the throne 🎉🎉🎉
Your talents NEVER cease to amaze me! You are a gifted videographer and historian. I love how you weave the events of the Jubilee, with your Thames treasures and capture the essence of the true parade that was never televised here in the USA. Thank you for giving us a better understanding of history and soothing us with your wildlife shots!
That was funtastic, as my auntie Esther used to say! I loved it all, but especially the fab parade at the end. The mainstream broadcasters never show you that kind of thing, only the pomp and circumstance. your music selections were perfect. Thank you, Vanessa!❤🇨🇦🙏🏼
I absolutely love that you combine the Jubilee with a bit of mud larking! It’s even better with the original footage of the Queen’s Coronation. Beautiful England, I’d love to visit some day.
I’m 9th generation American. I get a tightness in my chest and tears in my eyes with everything British celebratory. Such wonderful history. Just needed to share.
I love Fran's smile. Thanks for the lark, Nicola! And the birds. And thanks for introducing us to Cassia. The James I coin is near and dear to my heart. According to my G-grampa, we are descendents of that branch of the Stewart clan. I havent found the proof, yet. God Save the Queen! BTW, that wee cup is darling!
That was brilliant Nicola! I am so envious of the people who got to be in London for this historic event, it looks amazing! I love my Queen and (most of) the Royal family. It was lovely to see you and your friends celebrating on the foreshore and finding wonderful things relating to Royals past. Many thanks for this 😃💖🤍💙 x
This just popped up on my feed. Thank you for sharing with us. Its wonderful to see a society celebrating a milestone like this peacefully. The last big milestone I remember my country (USA) celebrating together was our bicentennial. It was a beautiful sight to behold, everyone peacefully celebrating our country's founding. I am an old lady now and I cherish that memory. Its been too long without us standing together shoulder to shoulder.
Thank you for sharing this, I wish my mom was still alive and could be here to see this. We watched all the royal weddings together, so proud of our queen ❤
That Georgian shoe buckle, is extraordinary! What a fabulous find! Thoroughly enjoyable as always Nicola. It's just gone 3am here in Adelaide Australia, (Wild child me lol). No not really - today (Monday 13th) we are have a public holiday for the Queen's Birthday! Yippee!! xox Teresa 🇦🇺❤
Oh how amazing, thank you so much for sharing your experience of being in the centre of the Jubilee celebrations. Also loved seeing some other mudlarkers and will check them out on Instagram 🤗.
Thank you for showing us the trooping of the colors and the parade. That was certainly special! Your traders token is very nice, and your friend Fran is definitely on a roll with chain mail. Take car and have a great week.
I was in London a week before this spectacle. Now it's clear to me how to get such great animal shots. A fox actually sits in broad daylight in a green area of the Whithouse Apartments and lies in wait for a crow... which only led him by the nose. I've already seen a lot, but in the middle of the city a fox is rather a rarity here! 😊
The finds and friends were awesome. Love the trader's tokens. This was the best Jubilee video that didn't have marmalade sandwiches. God Save the Queen.
Nicola I just loved seeing these wonderful examples of the Platinum Jubilee celebration from your first hand experience. The excitement of the crowd was so fun to watch. You and the other mudlarks found some lovely finds. I really appreciate you sharing your royal finds with us!! Speaking of Royal… are you truly enjoying the royal title of grandmother and spoiling that beautiful baby??!! I would love to see more pictures of you and your family with him. Take good care my friend I’ve yet to meet!! Love, DeeAnn 🇺🇸
Thanks for that wonderful video from start to finish. Lovely pipe and trader's token, Fran and Kasia did well too! Wonderful to see parts of Jubilee celebration too!
What great fun! My mom, from Minnesota, US, was an exchange teacher, assigned to Wales, the year of QEs coronation. She shared many memories of the pageantry. I have her souvenirs including a crystal engraved mug and a picture book. Loved the parade, especially the Corgis and the Bobbies! Great pipe and token too.
Thank you for sharing your time at the Jubilee Nicola! Besides seeing the Queen, I loved the hologram of her from her coronation ride. What a great idea that was.
That was an excellent video Nicola. Loved the scenes of the parade. I'm from the US and that was amazing seeing the Queen and the parade. Great finds today. My favorite was the token. It's amazing how many things you find that are that old and still to be found on the foreshore. Thank you again and as always look forward to the next one.
Wow! What a magnificent celebration! I watched a lot on our American TV but the coverage didn't come close to showing the parade and emotion. Thank you for sharing it with us!!! 🥰
The images of the parade were new to me, as I didn't see any of it shown on American TV...Thank you so much for taking the time to film that...Loved the British quirky creativeness as they gave nod to the decades that Queen Elizabeth has reigned!
Great jubilee and parade coverage! It looks like the parade was in sections by decades, judging by the buses and some of the participants. Love how it included "serious" cultural displays as well as silliness like bouncy balls and Daleks - a mixed bag of history much like your adventures on the foreshore. You make my Sundays - thanks!
Thank you so much for sharing the jubilee clips! Everyone in the world knows it is going on because Elizabeth is an absolute icon at this point, but those of us across the ocean don’t get to see much of the “average joe” details. Looks like so much fun! The finds were also awesome as usual and loved how you brought out the prior royal finds.
I moved to Canada from the UK many years ago. Watching all of the Platinum festivities has made me extremely ‘homesick’. Would love to be there! Excellent video once again, Nicola!
Lovely images of the parades in The Mall and lovely finds as always, always lovely to bump into Kasia on the foreshore too! I was out on the same stretch of foreshore last week and my megre finds were lots of Staffordshire Slipware, a very worn George II Halfpenny, a piece of type with the impression of a 2 on it and some other pieces of bits and bobs xx
Hi Nicola, I have been watching for about a couple of months now, and all your videos have been fantastic. With this one being 'extra special'. ( New York Dead Horse Bay was another good one). May I say, You have a real talent for... Videography, presenting, (clear and informative with a great voice too 🙂) historical knowledge, including wildlife shots too etc. You have entertained me. So now I have to catch up with more of your older videos to see what you have found. Your studio is a treasure trove and Alladins cave 😊 All the best & happy Mudlarking. Phil
You know it is great to get to know the mudlarking community...but best ever videos, for me, are the ones with just lovely you and beautiful thames.... they are so relaxing, not to mention fascinating. Thank you.
Well that was fun! As always, the Thames footage is wonderful for both the finds and the birds & waterfowl. The parade/celebration was so exuberant and joyful. Loved it.
It was great to see people enjoying the parade. The finds on the shore were really nice, by different people, and you could see that they'd enjoyed discovering their items. Thank you for this video production, very pleasant indeed.
Oh my goodness! What a wonderful video! Thank you so much for bringing us along. Loved the mud-larking but the parade was magnificent! Thank you seems inadequate. Brought smiles & tears. Brilliant!
Nicola you gave us a better view of the gold carriage than BBC1 did so thank you.
oh thank you I had no idea the parade was such fun... thought it was just military bands and carriages... and the foreshore was well populated with lovely people and good finds... big smiles to you

Loved watching the parade at the end. So many dancing groups it was amazing to watch. Thanks for sharing
That "70" flyover was too cool!! That was some true pomp and circumstance!! Looked like fun!
That parade looked incredible and better yet, everyone was having such FUN!
I agree, I did not see any of this on the news here - just the official strut - the parade was themed so well and did look fun!
I was hoping Nicola got footage of the parade. The jet fly overs always have me tearing-up, and I'm not even British.
I think you outdid yourself with this one, Nicola! A beautiful video with impeccable editing and perfect music.

I absolutely love that you combine the Jubilee with a bit of mud larking! It’s even better with the original footage of the Queen’s Coronation. Beautiful England, I’d love to visit some day.
I enjoyed this segment of your posts so much! You are such a delight, thank you for putting so much love, care and time into all your posts🥳❤️👍😉
I was down and out with Covid this past week so I love seeing the scenes from the Jubilee!!
On today’s menu … 🐸 and 🦀
I’m 9th generation American.
Love the lark and thank you for showing the parade, such fun and so lovely to feel that unity.🇦🇺❤🇬🇧
Hahahahaha! "Most Of" - May I venture a guess?...just teasing!

Ahh I love it when you have Fran in your videos. She seems such a gentle soul. I’d love to meet Fran.
Thank you for sharing Nicola, absolutely amazing. Truly pomp and ceremony. And awesome finds, most excellent for the gueen of pipes.🇨🇦🍁🤗🐘👣x
I truly love and appreciate being able to live vicariously through your videos. Thank you, Nicola. You bring so much joy!
Thank you Joe ❤️
thanks for adding the parade!!!! so much fun!!! God save the Queen
love the crow having a crab lunch
Que hermoso evento ,quien gobierna por 70 años?muy buen video Nicola ,bendiciones🥰
Wow! The chain mail was a great find.
Thank you for taking us along on the Jubilee celebration, Nicola! So much lively, happy fun. I needed that today.
Thanks so much for giving us a street level view of this extraordinary event.
Loved watching weird and wonderful London celebrating their queen! My favorite was the running corgis. (And the daleks)
The finds and friends were awesome. Love the trader's tokens. This was the best Jubilee video that didn't have marmalade sandwiches. God Save the Queen.
What an awesome place to live! So glad you showed us some of the Queens JUBILEE!!!!!! I loved watching!
Thankyou for posting the Jubilee clip , I left rhe UK 57 years ago but it still made me feel proud. luv your show
What great fun!
That was really well done, wasn't it? Such a great idea.
Thank you Nicola for such an amazing view of everything Jubilee!!! I absolutely love your videos!!! xx
thank you ❤️
Very lovely of you bring those folks on to your show to help support their efforts. Great video as always, love to watch you hunt for those gems.
What a vibrant, dynamic community London is.
Yey! Sunday is complete ☺️
Loved the parade scenes. So diverse. Looked like a lot of fun. The shot of the crowd going around you is epic!
Thank you for showing some of the celebration parade. I really enjoyed seeing the distinct participants. Great video. 🌻🐕🇺🇸
Spectacular! Amazing finds and best parade I've ever seen.
What a great day out!!! Great finds!
The parade was an amazing thing!
I loved the geese and pigeons examining your finds…
Thank you!! Great job ! Loved watching !! I laughed when the duck fell on the rock 😊👍👏🤟
Thank you for a peek into your culture and traditions. It looked like a great time.
I love the street sweeper giving a royal wave :-)
Thank you for taking us to the parade with you that was so cool I love seeing all the decades represented
This was great to the Queen’s 70th Jubilee. Thank you for sharing.
Your studio is a treasure trove and Alladins cave 😊
All the best & happy Mudlarking.
Phil
Thank you very much for your kind comment Ohil. I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos
Loved it.
A great day to remember..
Thank you Nicola.
What a beautiful Mudlarking day you had on your Queens jubilation! RIP Queen Elizabeth!🙏💕
It was great to see people enjoying the parade. The finds on the shore were really nice, by different people, and you could see that they'd enjoyed discovering their items. Thank you for this video production, very pleasant indeed.
Thank you Nicola. Spectacular celebration and a great mudlark. I loved all the birds. Cheers!
Oh my goodness! What a wonderful video! Thank you so much for bringing us along. Loved the mud-larking but the parade was magnificent! Thank you seems inadequate. Brought smiles & tears. Brilliant!
Thank you for sharing the Queens Jubilee with us as I would never have seen it without you. I loved it.
Thanks Nicola for showing us the parade and celebration!! Always love your finds, friends, and birds as well
Absolutely fantastic!!!! I wish that I had been there!!!! Thanks much!!! ✌️😎🎻🎻
Absolutely delightful Nicola! You are becoming a national treasure with all your historical videos.x
