I am republican I like anything bigger on full-size suv with more room like first class I drive a suv with 4wd on rest of my life on money on fuel costs because I don't drink of I don't smoke. Look to buy a electric vehicle is more expensive than fuel powered vehicles. I am single though I don't have any children.I am not saying them to college. Gas is cheaper than dui always will be. @@freshmclovin4593 No, not at all. Before COVID, the market-based minimum wage was around 12 dollars in Chicago. It's now 16. That's a 30 percent raise in 4 years. Then, you must raise everyone else's wage by 30 to 40 percent. This is how you get wage inflation. So, when the price of food goes up 30 to 40 percent, it's a wash for those at the bottom. Only the uninformed or a Bolshevik would say anyone in Chicago working at McDonald's made 7 dollars an hour. The Market determines the wage.

I am retired from law and this does not make any sense my granddaughter works two jobs has to take public transportation because she cannot afford the insurance being a young person for a beat up car let alone the cost of license plates for the car and these illegal immigrants that are getting public assistance are able to get a car and provide insurance to get their drivers license. Raising the minimum wage is almost never the answer to fight inflation and cost of living. It's just basic economics. California tried the same thing recently and it backfired miserably. This is only result in higher prices and more business closures.
