As a guy born in 2011, I can safely say that Playhouse Disney was my childhood, at the time I didn’t have a Tv, but we did have DVDs and vhs tapes and got to experience the shows I love

I watched Playhouse Disney when I was little. I also watched Noggin, PBS Kids, PBS Kids Sprout, Nick Jr, Qubo, Ready Set Learn on Discovery Kids, Smile Of A Child and direct-to-video/DVD Christian shows
Playhouse Disney rip 1997-2011 I was a little late and only saw the ending of playhouse Disney when the ending first came out I was confused but now I look back and I’m curiused about what I missed by a quick second
Ah Playhouse Disney(the Precursor of Disney Junior). I used to watched that channel when I was a kid(I was born in 2nd of August 2002 which means I'm now a 20 years old). My favourite show was Elmo's World... Heck Little Einsteins, Higglytown Heroes, Special Agent Oso, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, all of these shows I have watched it before. Now, all of these Disney Channels are now gone thanks to their streaming channel called "Disney+".

@@luigihorror6455 To my knowledge, yes. I watched it from either 2007 or 2008. If I'm not mistaken. And, no. I never watch PBS before since I'm from Malaysia.

I also grew up with Playhouse Disney, and even a bit of Disney junior as well although playhouse Disney is still superior, at least in my opinion. I hate to say this, but I don’t think Playhouse Disney’s ever returning.

In 2011 the name turned to disney jr till 2023 is when they renamed family jr

Disney could bring this back. For instance once Playhouse Disney ended, Disney Junior arrived with all new shows leaving the old shows to fade into obscurity. Playhouse Disney UK or Playhouse Disney US could make a comeback with all its old shows for new and old viewers. See it as an opportunity for Disney to make more money. Same goes with Toon Disney

It's only a matter of time that Disney jr gets shut down or at least rebrand it self again
Because it's been 11 years since playhouse got rebranded which is about a generation ago so we could be seeing a pattern.
The reason why I think it's going to be shut down it's because nowadays you can just stream whatever on Disney+ & also Asia's Disney Junior shut down along with Disney channel
So that's why I think it could be rebranded or shut down.

According to my mom ( I was born in 2008 ) I started watching just weeks after it became Disney junior and I watched from then until 2017-2018
No matter what year it is I will always miss my child hood Disney channels and play house Disney I miss it alot
i was born in 2006 and i used to watch playhouse disney all the time!!!!!! it was my favorite of the preschool blocks, and i watched it more than nick jr and even pbs kids. i'd been watching playhouse disney for as long as i can remember until the horrible disney junior rebrand on february 14, 2011, and after that i switched to watching the main "big kid" channels like disney channel, cartoon network, the hub, and nickelodeon

You may ask the Playhouse destiny is not here anymore or probably you’re never heard of that before. It’s true it’s gone in 2011. I think it in February 2011 Playhouse Disney sign off to Disney Channel with Mickey Mouse. There’s a video on UA-cam about that if you watch Disney Junior right now or used to be Playhouse Disney you will see a lot of nostalgia on that channel
